I love the flavor of lemon grass in food so was really looking forward to this tea. As bright as lemon grass tastes (and smells), this tea is a bit mellower. If you are expecting a bright, strong, lemony taste, this isn't it. Having said that, the tea is still quite good with a light lemon flavor. Would be great mixed with other teas, especially in summer!
Packs a citrus punch without any sour and certainly nice to drink after a heavy meal.
The smell of the dry product is envigorating. I bought this product because I had heard of the antibiotic properties of lemongrass. However, I like the taste of the tea it makes and I think I will really like this blended with other teas or herbals (or even alone) in the summer time because it tastes so refreshing. You can't go wrong because it is so cheap and the sample container is dense and contains a lot of product (think gyokuro).
I love the smell and taste of lemongrass! I've never drank this straight, I use it to jazz up other blends. Try it with chamomile or Wild Strawberry, or added to some hibiscus flowers
Tastes just like the name. Lemon and Grass. Took a few sips to get used to. Will not order again.
Very strong lemon scent, but the flavor is much lighter. I used this in a blend with White Peony and hibiscus (straight hibiscus, not the black tea from this site) and thought it was great.
While I am not crazy about lemon grass on it's own, I do like adding it to other teas for a nice twist. I also add it i to broths while cooking! Just don't forget to take it back out!
LOVE lemon grass. Its my number one herb to mix with tea.
A great base tea for everyday use. You can mix it with just about anything and it's fun. It adds a lemon-flavor to anything
Really good tea, doesn't look very appealing but tastes great.
This tea is my favorite. It's light and wonderful. Mixing it with Spearmint makes my own version of Tazo's 'Zen' Tea (which I love).

My only complaint about this is that you can't get it in a tin. It's very tasty, though, and exactly what I was hoping for when I got it. I was a little worried that the flavor might be overpowering or taste manufactured, but it's very clean and fresh. Great for mixing.
Wow! This is so wonderful. I love to blend this with my teas for a clean lemon flavor. Would be great with honey if I had a sore throat too. This was so good...no wonder Adagio was out of it for a while. Glad it is available now.
I didn't really know what to expect when I got this, it was mostly just something I got on a whim having had it mixed in with some other blends, I wanted to try it by iteslf. I'm happy to say that I absolutely love it. It's got a sort of crisp clean taste, with a good amount of lemon zest to it.
Holy lemons! Very strong, but very good. I blended it with some grapefruit tea and it was fantastic!

This has an interestingly strange flavor. It doesn't remind me of lemons, but it has hints of ginger flavor, and does taste a bit "grassy".
A very light, yummy cup of hot tea... I have not yet tried it cold, though.
I love lemongrass anything and this tea is no exception. It's quite mild so I add a little extra when brewing. Delicious!
Excellent tea. Great stand alone (keep in mind, use a lot of tea to make it) and great enhancer. I'll probably buy again (not a lot, but enough to use it in a mix and such). I'd 100% recommend buying some.

The best thing about lemon grass is its versatility. It can be used to make a hot or iced herbal infusion, or it can be mixed with tea to add a little bump in flavor, especially to second or third steepings. Its low price also helps to make it a great filler.
Best added to other tea, but can stand on its own. A slice of lemon really helps it if you want to drink it by itself.
I love adding a little bit to my chamomile. I haven't tried it plain because I like adding it to other things.
Tastes exactly what you would think lemon grass would taste like. I suppose if you were creative you could find things to mix it with, but it isn't bad by itself on occasion. It's just not something I would drink a whole lot of.

It never occured to me before to take lemon grass as a straight up tea. A pity as it's great, especially iced.

I like a little of this added to the decaf citron green. It strengthens the citrus flavor. Too much tastes more grassy than I like.

Adds a nice subtle lemony flavor. I expected it to be more potent, but then I'd never had lemon grass before. Though I enjoyed it as a mix-in for my gunpowder, I think I'll just use lemon bits in the future.
This herb is fantastic iced. I put a small amount of honey in it while it is brewing then pour it over ice to enjoy on a hot day.
I don't drink this one by itself. I usually mix it with pepperment or rooibos.
I didn't feel this tea had much flavor. The dry tea is broken up pieces of lemon grass which have a faint but pleasant lemon smell. When brewed, the wet leaves have a strange, murky smell that put me off a bit. The tea itself smells good and comes out a nice lemony yellow color, but does not taste like much. It's very inexpensive, so if you like citrus teas you may want to give it a try and fiddle with amounts/brewing times to see if you can get a better result.
This is a quality herbal product. The flavor shines through and is great for herbal/tea blends!
This tea is perfect for spring. It has a delicate lemony flavor. It is the perfect tea for unwinding after a hectic day. It seems to brighten the gloomiest of days. I highly recomend trying this tea.
Very smooth and sweet, but not too sweet. It does require some sugar, otherwise it's plain and dull. It also smells AMAZING as it brews.
