It's a little weak on it's own, but invaluable as a mix in. It's great mixed with some of the gunpowder green tea or any other bright flavored green tea.
Native of Southeast Asia, with delicate Meyer lemon flavor, a hint of sweet ginger and uplifting floral aroma.

If you like lemon or citrus flavor, then this is for you. It is a fairly strong flavor, but I think it's great. It's also great for making your own blends.
Light and airy and perfect on any day, whether sunny or gray. Combine with peppermint for a fabulous one-two combo.
I love the lemon grass very much. I bought the large because I love it that much. The one thing I don't like is the the way the tea is packaged. i was disappointed with the big 'ziplock' bag
I like a strong sweet tea and I was disappointed but how light the flavor was and the strange hay-like aftertaste wasn't to my liking.
In general, I typically add lemon grass to other teas. Blending lemon grass, green tea (e.g. Pi Lo Chun), chamomile, and honey was thee perfect thing for treating a winter cold. Highly recommended.
I've grown this in my yard but drying it didn't get me much flavor. So I was thrilled at how fresh lemony-grassy this is. It's also wonderful, I keep a big glass in the fridge (next to my Foxtrot!) to sip on throughout the day. It keeps very well. I'll use it in cooking too.
Great lemony scent with a nice ginger kick to it. I was surprised by its sweetness when I brewed it. Very mellow and refreshing, probably great with honey or blended.
I love the earthy lemony flavor of this tea. It's smooth and lemony and really enjoyable. I love to add this to other teas to enhance their flavor.
This is probably what you expect. pure lemon, a nice natural balance of sweet and tart, and no caffeine. This is a key component in things like thai chai and white chai, which are both delicious. On its own lemongrass is a little plain, and needs a lot of tea to make a strong cup, but it is nice if you are home and under the weather, or simply a lover of lemon. Will definitely use it in blends in the future.
What a fantastic, fruity little tea. Very light, very good for blending - I recommend mixing it with Raspberry Patch or Strawberry for a fruity lemonade tea.
I'm not always a fan of lemony tea, but today is sunny and lemon sounds nice and refreshing. It smells just as its namesake, lemony and slightly grassy. It takes longer to steep than most teas, but the taste is worth the wait. I plan on trying it cold once the temperature gets a bit warmer.
The person that I bought this tea for LOVES this. However, I think that it tastes and smells like wet grass with a hint of lemon.
I love the almost sweet flavor of this tea. It tastes like happiness in a cup. I shared it with some people who don't like tea as much as I do and even they didn't have anything bad to say about it.
I was disappointed by this tea, but I think it will combine well with other teas. I LOVE lemons and lemongrass, but I'm used to having them fresh. Lemongrass apparently loses a lot of its zing when dried, so the lemony flavor was quite a bit more mellow than I was expecting.
At first I wasn't a huge fan of this tea but I am falling more and more in love with every cup
I love this tea especially during evenings. It's a great balance between a citrus taste with just a hint of a gingery bite to it. It's very soothing and no caffeine to keep me up!
Think lemon zest, except sweet instead of bitter. Such a fresh taste compared to that artificial lemon flavor that is usually added to teas. Soothing as a sweetened hot drink, but I can't wait to try it iced or added to black or rooibos tea.
I usually drink straight black tea in the morning, I'm not a morning person and I only allow myself to act like a bear through my first cup of tea. I add some of this to my black tea when I'm feeling extra growly and it perks up the flavor and makes me feel almost cheerful! My husband is just happy I no longer glare at him across our scrambled eggs while I huddle over my morning cup!
This tea tastes pretty much like you would expect it too, like a lemon drop. With a little sugar, it's nice.
This tea has a very light flavor, and leaves a lovely aftertaste. I added a bit of German rock sugar to bring out more of the flavor. Tasty!
I blended this with peppermint and chamomile for the classical Sleepytime tea offered by Celestial Seasonings - great combination, tastes just like it!
Great, love to blend it with green tea or herbal teas.
I bought this for blending, to add a lemony pop to teas that are too sweet or fall flat. And it does just the trick. It's also lovely on it's own with some dried cherries added to the water as the tea steeps. This is a great example of both purity and versatility in herbal teas.
A great caffeine-free herbal. Sweet lemon with a hint of ginger. Great to drink on its own or blended into other teas or iced. Truly versatile.
This isn't good on its own. It is great as a component in a blend, but on its own it is rather meh.
LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE. As soon as I made this with a good bit of sugar, I started searching through adagio with blends with this tea in it. LOVE. So sweet. So citrusy. Love. Love. LOVE.
Light flavor. I've never had straight lemongrass tea before, always a blend. I can see buying more in the future.
I love this one it mixes great with some of the other teas I like.
This tea is light and refreshing - exactly what I expected with a lemon grass tea. It's nothing special, but I like it and would absolutely order again. I made it hot, but I imagine it would be very good iced as well.
I got this to try tea from dried lemon grass rather than fresh. Good and simple alternative to making it fresh.
Alone it has a floral lemon fragrance and a lemon and mildly ginger flavor. I think it is at its best in a blend to add the lemony but distictly asian flavor to whatever you're mixing it with. Great for rounding out a caffeine before bedtime blend
Excellent to have some of this around for little on the spot add in to other teas... always perks the flavor and aroma of the cup :)
Doesn't quite taste like lemon(not sure why I expected it would) but holy hell... the smell is divine and the taste is even better
I love mixing lemon grass with green tea. It is one of my favorite flavors for mixing.
My favorite lemon grass. This just tastes stronger than some of the bagged stuff I had. I can resteep it several times. Yum.
Fantastic! A light, lemony taste. The aroma is fantastic. Looking forward to trying mixing it in with some of my other teas, but it's really quite tasty all by itself.
One of my favorite teas of all time. I love the look of it, the smell, the taste. It's interesting and goes with anything.
I was never a fan of lemon grass but after having this in a blend I decided to give it a shot. So far its been a very nice addition to decaf night blends of tea... I would order this again.
Light and refreshing, and the flavor keeps well through multiple steepings. I love this tea before bed. I can't wait to try it iced.
really good quality lemon grass. great for making your own tea blends or adding a nice fresh taste to any tea
A more traditional lemony flavor than lemon balm tea.
Never been a huge fan of lemon so I prefer to put this in with other blends.
Always a favorite. Try blending with equal parts peppermint and chamomile. It will taste like, but better than a famous tea blend!
This tea is great on it's own (or with a little honey) but I prefer to blend it with a variety of teas.
This is very light but earthy, but the fragrance is amazing. Took it with a little sugar and some lemon juice for extra zing.
It smells better than it tastes, i've found, which it something because it tastes really great. It smells quite lemony with a hint of ginger, and tastes the same. I think i will buy this one again.
If you like lemongrass, you will like this, if not, it would not be for you. It's a strong lemongrass flavor as that's all that this is.
great to by itself or good to mix with other tea's
I'm planning on using this mainly to make blends, but it's okay by itself. It's pretty light and non-caffeinated.
