Refreshing in hot or cold. Reminds me of my favorite from Tevanas old line
What a delightful surprise. The pineapple is mouthwatering. The layers of flavor are sufficiently complex to prolong the enjoyment and it makes a superb iced tea.
One of my go to teas feels like I am in Hawaii. I take this on trips.
Pineapple and tropical fruit scents presented themselves after opening today's packet. Steeping at 212°F for 7 minutes yielded a light yellow tisane.
The first cup had an aroma of orange while the pineapple scents became more tangy. Plenty of lemongrass and sweet apple were present in the flavor profile. The pineapple was sparsely present until slurping the tea heavily to release the pineapple aromatics. Slurping was most beneficial and necessary for this tisane. Sweetener was quite unnecessary due to the already naturally sweet apple. If I hadn't tried slurping, the lemongrass may have been a bit too overpowering to find the pineapple hidden beneath. Overall, this is an interesting flavor combination that seems to work well. Slurp away!
I was excited to try this as I'm a sucker for pineapple and tropical flavored tea, but this turned out to be just okay. Drinkable, sure, but not as pineapple forward as I was expecting from something with pineapple in the title. The tea was very mild in flavor with lemon grass taking a strong lead. I don't know if my packet was off in the balance of ingredients, but it seemed overly sweet and a little one note. Overall, this wouldn't be the tea I reached for if I wanted a pineapple forward tropical tea. (reviewed through CommuniTEA; 5 min @ 212F)
The pineapple flavor isn't as prominent as I'd like but it's a stellar blend overall. It's the roomie's favorite CommuniTEA this month and I can't help but agree.
What a delightful summer treat! The pineapple flavor is very good!!! Im super excited to get a bag of this and mix it with other teas since I love coconut!
When hot, this tea is better when blended with another flavor, try adding it to a black tea - one of mine has this an a smoky lapsang souchong, it sounds weird but I find the combination very tasty.
I just tried it again with the Communitea, and cold-brewed this time. It’s much better like that, with a sweet pineapple flavor, but I feel as if it needs something and could be improved a bit.
A lovely golden yellow tea that is naturally sweet and refreshing. I did an overnight cold steep, and found the pineapple flavor just right. Deliciously tropical.
Easily one of the most delicious teas I've had, that resembles a fruit juice over anything else. I'm ordering more of it, and its becoming one of my staple teas.
I enjoyed this fruit blend. Everything I like in a fruit tea. Yum
Pineapple 🍍 goodness in a cup. No caffeine too! Perfect for post work relaxation.
Great tea loved the smell and the taste, it would be great ice. Brew at (212 5min).
Tart, sweet, refreshing! A wonderful pineapple vacation (yes, that should be a thing and this tea is the drink of choice).
Aloha! This tea was a tasty surprise of fruit goodness. The scent was all pineapple but the taste was a perfect blend of pineapple mixed with sweet fruits. Light, refreshing fruit salad in a glass!
I was very excited to try this tea. I cold brewed it since it is a hot summer day. Although I enjoyed drinking this iced, I wish it had more pineapple flavor.
Call me crazy, but I wanted more pineapple from a tea named after it! It smelled wonderful in the packet, but was much more subtle once brewed; I even let it oversteep by quite a while. I think the lemongrass was a bit too overpowering.
Nevertheless, it was a lovely cup, nice and tropical with a bit of zest.

Delightful tropical blend with pineapple and lemongrass being the prominent flavors. (5 mins @ 212°F)
I really wanted to love this tea! I used less water with my CommuniTea sample, but it was still very mild. Too mild for me...the pineapple was barely there.
I could smell the deliciousness when I opened the packet and the taste did not disappoint. Winner tea!
After reading other reviews on the mildness of the flavor, I steeped this tea for about an hour, then let it cool to room temp. It is mild, but pleasantly fruity and not sour, despite the rosehip. I got a lot of lemongrass, which I enjoyed, but the pineapple was very subtle. I'd suggest to Adagio to amp up the flavors on this one a bit, and you would have a solid winner.
This blend was another good-but-not-great experience. By the time it cooled, I felt like the pineapple flavor tasted a bit fake, not so as to be completely unenjoyable, but it left an odd aftertaste. I might have just brewed mine for too long, as I did let it steep for 10 minutes (at 212F).
I steeped this tea for 10 minutes. The flavor was surprisingly strong for having ingredients with light flavors. It's naturally sweet without anything added. The lemongrass flavor overpowered the pineapple when it cooled to room temperature so I prefer it hot, but it was nice both ways.
I cold steeped the whole packet in a jar for an hour. This is a refreshing, light blend, but I wish it had a bit more flavor. While the pineapple is the dominant flavor, it is also faint.
I saw someone mention that the pineapple flavor comes in as an aftertaste - I have to agree! The first flavor on the tongue is mild and sweet, but a little generic (the sweet is probably from the bit of added stevia). However, when I swallowed, I got a bright sense of the pineapple. It’s subtle, but appropriate for a nice fruity tea. Doesn’t feel syrupy or overdone, just a relaxing hint!
CommuniTEA Sample: Not overwhelmed by this one, but it isn't bad. Just a bit weak on the pineapple flavor to me. There is bit of fruity flavor, but not much. It could be just a poor mix in my sample and may be much better with a full sample. Will also be trying this iced as well.
Delicious. However the pineapple flavor doesn't taste as strong as it smells.
I cold brewed this packet and had it iced. It was delicious! A light, smooth, fruity pineapple confection. Really great iced tea!
A tasty fruity blend that tastes great either hot or cold.
This blend is very light and refreshing, but I’ll be honest it leaves me wanting more. I cold steeped, and the resulting brew was a light pineapple with no other flavors really present.
This is a lovely pineapple tea. I really enjoyed it hot, although I think it would be better iced.
Great tea, however I wanted more pineapple flavors. This was still tasty, just a sweet disappointed
Very mildly tropical. Heavily apple-y. Not to my taste at all.
I drank this iced, and it was as summery and cheerful and I expected!
I was surprised that the pineapple flavor wasn't super strong, but that may have been because of my steep temp and time. I didn't boil the water as recommended, but just set it to 205 degrees. And I got impatient so I only steeped it for 5 minutes. *grin* So for a stronger pineapple flavor, I'd recommend actually following the instructions on this one: boil your water, then steep for a full 10 minutes.
But I definitely do recommend you drink it iced!
When you open this pack you are instantly hit with the luscious fragrance of pineapple, lemongrass, and apple with the undernotes of the rose and orange tantalizing the back of our palette. From just the nose of this tea you are instantly transported to a paradise.
I was just a tad underwhelmed with the taste however. I even let the tea steep a bit longer than my first time sampling as I wanted to see if I could get some more flavor, but alas.
The tea is still great, you get all of the notes you are looking for. Maybe just double scoop what you normally would to get that real flavor punch.
Overall, still a good tea and would recommend it to those who love tart citrusy teas. Brewed at 212 for 15 minutes lightly sweetened.
I do love it even if it taste like heated pineapple juice from a can of strained pineapple. It's probably one I wouldn't order, but enjoyable. Perhaps it was meant to be drank with ice.
Enjoying along with the CommuniTEA today: Strong ripe pineapple scent with a hint of orange from the dry ingredients and packet. Once steeped for 5 mins at 212° F, I notice the pineapple and lemongrass most on the nose. When I take a sip, I detect herbally lemongrass, tangy rose hips, ripe pineapple with citrusy orange and sweet candied pineapple reminiscent of a childhood treat on the finish.
This tea tastes like a pineapple upside down cake! It was like having dessert in my cup! I enjoyed my CommuniTEA packet iced and sweetened. This one makes a summer favorite list. Happy sipping!
Pineapple is my absolute favorite and this blend doesn’t disappoint! I tried it hot and I’m going to have to try it cold. Fruity, tropical and delicious!
30 August 2020 review: As a start, all players were present in the bag. When hot, a slight tartness was noted from the rose hips. Very mild floral tastes and aromas were noted from the rose petals. Fruity flavors were moderate at this point. When warm, the lemongrass came forward to blend nicely with the pineapple, apple, and orange. This provided an overall pleasant and tropically-sweet pineapple flavor. A slight bitterness was noted from the marigold at the end. Final note ... This one tasted like the Pineapple Kona Pop blend from Teavana. (6 mins @ 212°F, 1/8 tsp sugar)
The kona pineapple tea is amazing!! I love it cold brewed!
I had such high hopes for this tea! Upon opening the packet, the pineapple aroma jumped out and screamed at me in the most pleasant way. Like the naive person that I am, I assumed the flavor would be as loud. But no. Aroma = room full of exploded pineapples. Flavor = a couple of pineapple rings floating in an Olympics-size pool. The flavor is there but it is very mellow. The pineapple is more present in the aftertaste than in the sip itself, but at least it shows up at some point.
I drank mine warm, with sugar, and I enjoyed it. Next time I'll be cold brewing. Also, I imagine this would be an excellent mixer with other teas, especially Dragon Fruit Dream. I look forward to seeing what I can concoct!
This has a very subtle pineapple flavor. When I opened the bag, the scent screamed 'PINEAPPLE!', but the flavor merely whispers 'pineapple'.
It's okay. Kind of like pineapple juice, but lighter. My packet was mostly the fruit, with a sprinkle of lemongrass, so it's a little more like infused water than tea.
Light and pleasant taste
Not at all in your face tea
More subtle and chill
Gentle pineapple
With tastes of lemongrass
Taste on the exhale
(Haiku review)
Love it!
Its not in your face pineapple and this is what I like. It's more of a subtle treat that's good iced or hot.
Wow, very strong pineapple scent when the packet was opened. The pineapple flavor was delicious and the blend was a light ,but flavorful tea.
Very nice tropical flavor and aroma. I coldbrew this one for ice tea.
soft tea wanted to taste more pineapple i added lemongrass because its one of my favorite flavors
