Very refreshing iced on a hot summer day! The lime adds a tartness that rewards the pallet.
Hmmmm...taste nothing like key lime. disappointed but just ordinary.
Definitely did not like this tea. It tasted very artificial.
I was very happy with this tea. After reading a few reviews that suggested trying it iced, I did so. I only had one serving from my communiTEA box, so it ended up being a bit weak. It still tasted good, so I'm looking forward to trying again with the right amount of tea.
Smells incredible, just like key lime pie! taste... not so much, I also didn't expect the tea to be so pink. its a pretty color, but doesn't quite fit with the key lime expectations. perhaps the visual is part of why it tastes unexpected.
As a born and raised Florida girl, I support this tea! Best enjoyed cold!!
Something in the sour elements tastes almost spoiled/rotten. It's likely just the flavorings combining into something weird. Unfortunately, it's the strongest sour part of the tea, so it's noticeable to me. I do get the key lime flavoring, complete with some buttery crust. Something about the blend needs a little tweaking though, imho.
This tea has a strong, tart flavor and smell. I very much like how clearly the flavor of this tea comes through -- this is not one of those weak herbal teas! It does need some sort of sweetener to make the flavors shine though. Without it, this tea is a bit too tart to be truly pleasing.
Pretty good tea. I was hoping to get more of the tartness I expect from hibiscus but it wasn’t really there. I wouldn’t turn down a cup of this but I did enjoy it.
Yum...key lime pie is my favorite summertime pie and this tea does not disappoint. Very refreshing over ice.
I steeped for approximately four minutes and it proved to be beneficial. The lime flavor came out in the aftertaste. Other fruit flavors were definitely a little overpowering but still delicious
I felt like this tea smells very strange. The taste is fine, but I find the lime very overpowering.
This is so refreshing for summer time, and I would say is best cold brewed overnight and iced with a swirl of agave to sweeten it. The most prominent flavor is the tartness of the hibiscus, but there is definitely lime and even a hint of sweet vanilla. I do think the lime flavor could be more prominent though, so I think a few lime wedges while steeping would be a nice addition.
Fantastic as an iced tea - didn't feel like it needed any sweetener. This is bolder than I normally enjoy but it really grew on me.
very refreshing over ice on a hot summer day - really liking this one
Very pleasant natural tartness, a little I did need to add my usual honey, but that is my preference. I love it iced, refreshing on a Hot Summer day. I was surprised by its red color from hibiscus and rose hips; I assumed key lime would be yellow/green. I sampled as part of the CommuniTEA July box.
I actually really enjoyed this it was a little tart but in a good lime way. I picked out the apple bits and put them in the tea separately from the leaves so they’d soak up the tea and be really yummy to eat.
I didn't love this tea. It somehow didn't taste fresh to me. I am also not a fan of hibiscus if that helps puts my review into perspective. It would have been hard to make me a fan of this one.
I was really excited to try this tea. Unfortunately it's far too tart for me. With a touch of honey I suffered through. :)
In the bag I saw lots of hibiscus and rose hips. Also noted were creamy key lime pie aromas. A dark rose color was seen in the cup. I did a three minute steep and added sugar to successfully lower any tart tastes from the hibiscus. When warm, a nice creamy mouthfeel and aftertaste was noted providing a very pleasant and slightly tart key lime pie flavor. A very nice sipper. (3 mins @ 212F, 1/4 tsp sugar)
It has a key lime flavor and tastes good with and without sugar. It also tastes good hot or cold.
The orange and hibiscus overpower most of the key lime after steeping for 10 minutes, but it's nice with a little fruit tisane honey over ice.
Oh my, this is the first tea ever that I have not been able to drink. Smell from the packet was very tart, and the hibiscus overpowers everything else - with a sour after taste.
Better cold than hot. Smells a lot more key lime-y than it tastes, but still tastes very good & fruity for summer. Adding some stevia, it makes a GREAT sugar free popsicle!
This one smells amazing. I made it iced and I did enjoy it, but it won t be one of my go-to teas. I usually don t sweeten my teas, but this one was tart enough that I needed a little syrup. I had a hard time finding the right balance and might add fresh lime juice next time around.
I like this one! It's definitely artificial key lime flavor, but I don't mind it. Nicely sour. Not too hibiscus forward. A nice, refreshing, flavorful, iced tea.
Very summery, makes a great iced tea. Strong hibiscus flavor with a nice key lime scent and a mild flavor.
The hibiscus notes are very forward on this one. Not my jam.
This is phenomenal as an iced tea. It is sweet and delicious...perfect for sipping on a hot summer day.
Upon smell, you definitely get the tangy lime and sweet cream scent of a key lime pie. It can actually smell a bit sharp, but that's to be expected from lime. Once brewed, the sweet creaminess you smell isn't present to taste. You do taste the tart and even sour (but in a good way) lime flavor, but you also taste the other notes that this tea has (from the other fruit pieces to the hibiscus), which kind of takes me out of it being a key lime pie tea. It's definitely enjoyable and for anyone debating it, I say give it a try (especially with the sample bag). I'm going to add freshly squeeze lime next time or even a little sugar to see if I can make it just a touch sweeter and really bring emphasis on the lime.
A very fragrant and flavorful lime tea! Kind of reminds me of Trix cereal (throwback!!!). Definitely a unique flavor.
Fantastic cold also mixed with dewy cherry tea,, lovely
This tea smells amazing when opening the bag, but the flavor was not as impressive. It improved as an iced tea, but not significantly.
Brewed as an ice tea the overall taste is pleasant, but the lime flavor tastes a bit artificial. Would have preferred this to come with lime peels rather than flavoring. That says it does invoke the flavoring of key lime pie filling but doesn't look the part as a healthy red color.
This won't blow you away but its certainly decent enough.
I liked the nice hint of lime...a refreshing taste
You can really smell the lime when you open the package. Once brewed it tastes like warm limeade, very nice tea.
Very tart. Never good served hot, would only reccomend serving cold. Tastes just like a key line pie.
The lime flavor in this is strong, but very artificial-tasting, as other reviews have said. It tastes like a fakey sort of fruity limeade, which isn t necessarily a bad thing, but not usually what I m looking for in an herbal tea.
Like pie in a glass. Very fun tea, especially good iced.
The tangy key lime flavor of this tea is delicious yet not too strong.
This one wasn't my favorite, but it wasn't the worst I've ever tasted either. The lime is a little... stiff? This one's a hard one to describe lol. I may try baking with it though, or making it iced.
I like my herbal teas brewed for long amounts of time for maximum flavor. I also use probably more like a tablespoon per cup as well for that extra punch. Key lime is refreshing and delicious hot or cold. It’s very bright and tastes just like a lime!
It smells like key lime pie, and it tastes like key lime pie. It also stood up to a second steeping.
Love this key lime herbal tea, will definitely buy again!
oddly floray. Had a powdery after taste. She'll better than it tasted
This is pretty good both hot and cold. Even so, it’s not one of my favorite. There’s something wrong about the flavoring.
so awesome! i love key lime anything! it s a must try
This tea is very light and tasty for the summer! I was very surprised that it turned out red in my cup, but it has a very nice fruity flavor.
Love, love, love the aroma and flavor. It has definately become a favorite.
One of my favorite teas. I actually make ice tea , very refreshing!
