★★★☆☆

I was hoping to love this tea, but it wasn't my favorite. It is good, and does have the key lime notes you might expect. Just not my favorite flavor for a cup of tea.

★★★★☆

Good summery tea, tart but needs a little bit more balance

This tea didn’t taste bad just not my preference. My son loves it though!

A very solid herbal option with a real nice aroma. I used this for iced tea as well as hot and enjoyed it both ways.

Key Lime Herbal. I was surprise the brew came out red. Very tart with tropical notes and is very refreshing on hot summer days. I cold brew my summer tea's, so no bitterness. I only wish I could find some key lime juice.

Has a light key lime flavor but overall pleasant to drink. I really liked this as a cold brewed tea.

I tend to go for herbal teas that are more on the tart side, and this one delivers. I like it both hot and iced. I enjoy both the lime and hibiscus flavors.

This is absolutely delightful. There is a strong (for real), lime flavor that is well balanced with the rest of the notes. I added a dash of monk fruit extract, but it is wonderful with or without.

This one was good but could do with a bit less rosehips.

The most refreshing cup of tea, a truly relaxing way to enjoy an afternoon while savoring the flavors of summer.

This truly tastes like Key Lime Pie to me. I find it amusing that it doesn't brew up green, so if your key live pie needs to be green close your eyes before you take your first sip. I cold-brewed it in an Adagio iced tea pitcher. Will try it hot at another time.

I love this tea, it has the lime flavor right away very good tea

it was a good tea, but not quite what I was looking for

I've never really had anything key-lime flavor and I hate pie filling-textured foods so I've never had the pie itself. This tea was kind of meh at first but it has grown on me. I was expecting it to be much more sour but the aftertaste is sweet, which I prefer.

I love tart, so I was a big fan of this one. I think I like it even better cold without a sweetener. Give it a try.

★★★☆☆

Today I learned I don’t love the taste of hibiscus. The flavors didn’t blend well in my opinion. I would love a lime tea, but without the hibiscus.

I did not taste a lot of lime to be honest. Which was a surprise! I did like it, however don't think I will be returning for more.

★★★★★

this tea tasted just like the key lime pie that I love so much

★★☆☆☆

I loved the base flavor of the tea but there is a weird chemical after-taste that is off-putting. Adjusting time & temperature didn't help.

★★★☆☆

The aroma of this tea is very nice. However, the taste is not something I desire.

★★★☆☆

This makes a lovely iced tea for refreshing relief on a hot day. Cue the steel drums.

★★★☆☆

I do like this tea, though I don't find the key lime notes to be prominent. I brewed it hot and strong and added ice. I found it to be mildly sweet and easy to drink. I did at a touch of sweetener.

★★★★☆

Today's CommuniTea packet was key lime herbal with hibiscus, rose hips, apple pieces, orange and key lime pie flavor. I love key lime pie, but I tasted more hibiscus than I did lime in this. But as with lots of fruit tisanes, it made a refreshing cold brew. Cold brewed in 10 ounces of water for about eight hours.

communiTEA 2022: Funny I don’t recall liking this when it came up in communiTEA last year but it was thoroughly enjoyed today!
The dry tea smelled strongly like a bag of Skittles upon opening. In water initially heated to 212F boiling I let it oversteep (about 15min total), which may be the biggest difference between this year and last. The result was a deep berry red (hard to reconcile with visions of key lime pie, I know). Unsweetened, not much more than hibiscus with a sour citric bite. Sweetened though? The lime shines through and it is quite delicious. I’m interested to try this as a cold brew as well.

This tea had a nice limey fragrance when I opened the packet and that carried through to the scent when brewed. The lime was pleasant in the palate both when hot and as it cooled. I enjoyed this tea.

I agree with other reviews. This tea is skittles in a cup. Not a specific skittle. The handful of all the traditional skittles that you decided to be bold about and eat all at once. Lucky for me, I love skittles! Cold steeped this one for about 12 hours.

Such a weird tea. Definitely getting a lime flavor, but its not my favorite. Very bitter

This blend was ok but not my favorite. It had a bit of a lime flavor but mostly I tasted hibiscus. I cold brewed it and added a bit of sugar, and it was still just ok.

Not quite sure what I was supposed to get out of this tea...mostly just tasted extreme tartness with a citric acid-y finish. Maybe I am missing something in the packet or I need to try cold brewing. Willing to get it another shot, but brewing with hot water did not agree with me. (212F for 5min)

yummy when cold brewed! not exactly key lime flavored, as i mostly tasted hibiscus, but very tart and refreshing. smelled great too

Hibiscus, rose hips, and lime combine for a super tart tisane! The aftertaste is more mellow and slightly sweet and creamy, creating a key lime feel.

This really gets the key lime flavor through without it becoming astringent or overpowering. The color of the tea is also gorgeous and fun to drink. However, I feel like this is more of a novelty tea than something I would drink regularly.

I am on the fence,
while It smelled of key lime pie,
The taste didn't match...
A good herbal blend
with hints of key lime throughout
oh, and HIBISCUS!

2022 update:
Hot, I smell the pie
But my tongue tastes hibiscus
it's Game changer time

I steeped this tea hot
Then let it get cold, it’s true
It helped lime come through!

The lime plays second fiddle to the tartness and the rosehips. It helps to add a little of your favourite sweetener to bring it, and the citrus, out more.

Update July 3, 2022 I cold brewed this over night. Boy this is really different than the last time I tried this tea. I love lime and the flavor came through this time. No hibiscus taste, just the color. Upgraded from 3 to 5 stars. I'm adding this to my wishlist.

I cold brewed this and drank it iced. The smell from the packet is an artificial lime smell. I happen to like lime in odd things like jello and life savers. Green is my fav of the artificial flavors. This tea is heavy on hibiscus and the lime flavor can be tasted in the finish. It reminded me of lime jello. I enjoyed the taste but would tame down the hibiscus if I could.

I steeped for 10 minutes, and it was a little weak. Does taste like key lime though! A fun summer flavor.

★★★★☆

I was pleasantly surprised by this tea! It's fruity and tart and it looks beautiful! It has a very slight chemical aftertaste, but not as much as some of the other citrus teas I've had.

So good iced. Somehow creamy key lime despite being hibiscus. One of my top summer teas for sure.

I absolutely love this tea. I got it using my rewards points to try and I am so glad that I did. This tea is good either hot or cold brewed. Will be getting this tea every year.

Update: Just go my sixteen-ounce bag of this tea and am so excited.

Update 2: Still one of my favorite teas of all time.

The tea had a lime aroma from the packet with a lot of hibiscus and rose petals. As it brewed the color was a reddish tone. The lime was there but not super strong. Hibiscus was dominate for me. Not my favorite but overall okay.

Just came in from a hot day out in the sun in Southern AZ. Brewed up this Key Lime Herbal and poured it over ice! Such a refreshing delight!

★★★☆☆

Too much hibiscus and rose hubs for me. The aroma upon opening the packet was definitely lime and appealing but after steeping all I tasted were the hibiscus and rose hubs — very tart, very red, and not satisfying to me when I had my mind set on a limey green fresh cuppa.

Steeping Notes — 195 degrees for 3-5 minutes.

This is a fun summertime tea to cold brew and to enjoy iced, but to me, the key lime flavor is pretty fake tasting. My daughter loves it though!

I opened my CommuniTEA packet and had a good sniff of lime. I cold-brewed it in a 1/2 pint jar overnight. This morning, I tasted a nice blend of lime and a little tartness from the hibiscus. I was very happy that the hibiscus wasn’t too strong and it added to the lime rather than overtaking it. Apparently not everyone got an even mix of ingredients in their little packets but I guess I got lucky! I will probably be adding this to my rotation of cold-brew teas.

I’d say 3.5 stars for this one. It’s a fruit herbal, which aren’t my favorites, but I do find it more pleasing than other fruit herbals I’ve had in the past. The line is strong, though so is the hibiscus and rose hip. The result is a somewhat tart floral flavor. 100% recommend this iced.

Refreshing lime flavor that came out stronger as the tea cooled. I added some agave to tame down the tartness.

CommuniTEA portion: Cold Brewed overnight. Surprised initially by the color but then realized the ingredients. Overall a nice lime flavor but I could have had more lime and way less hibiscus. Definitely a cold brew situation. Would be nice to have a small pitcher of this in the fridge to enjoy for the summer.

Today's CommuniTEA is Key Lime Herbal (7-3-22). Upon opening my packet, it seemed like it had a good amount of apple and rose hips. I added some orange peels, hibiscus, sourwood honey, and then iced it and it was absolutely delicious! I have also had this tea before and it was very good hot with hibiscus, orange peels, and rock sugar. I really love this tea and would highly recommend it!
