Not a fan of this one, way to sour for me. Not my cup of tea..but you might love it.
I was not expecting for this to be a new favorite. I tend to lean towards the sweet tea but the tangy flavor of this is great.
I did like this tea! Maybe 6 out of 10? It had a nice flavor but it wasn't too strong. Would drink again!!!
Very tart tea and was very lime peel forward. Somehow managed to be tart and bitter even after adding sugar to it.
A strong hibiscus flavor with delicious punchy lime flavor with a hint of creaminess. When opening the bag, it already has a strong and vibrant scent to it, and taste exactly as it smells. The tea is also a vibrant red color after it's finished brewing. If you like hibiscus, you'll like this one.
Gross. The minute I opened the bag, I gagged. The assaulting sent of artificial lime "perfume" literally burned my nostrils. I haven't had the courage to even brew this because I can't handle how off putting the smell is.
Would not recommend drinking this hot as it gets quite tart. Cold brewing is the way to go with this one! Add a bit of simple syrup and you've got yourself a drinkable version of a classic summertime treat. A delicious way to beat that summer heat!
I thought the lime flavor in this tea was nice, but a little too light. And while I enjoyed the red hue, I think it would've been more apropos if it had brewed a green color. Brewed for 10 minutes with a packet of Splenda.
Love key lime pie, but can not say I even liked this tea as a hot brew. Hibiscus and rose hips are bringing their usual combo here and I actually like those flavors so that was a plus and orange and apple are never unwelcome. I think my dislike is in the key lime flavoring. I kept tasting an almost chemical flavor and I could define it no other way with a lime finish. So it's down, but I will not count it out as I have heard this one is better as a cold beverage so I will definitely revisit it as either an iced or cold brew later on and hopefully grant it some more stars as I really wanted to love this one. 212° 10 min
This is okay, not quite key limey enough... mostly hibiscus, definitely red/pink... a dab of adagio raw honey for fruit tisanes didn't even bring out the limeyness
Whoa! I can’t get enough of this tea. It’s so good. It hits so many flavor craving spots. I love it
Not my favorite but not the worst. It was alright but Im also not a great big fan of Key lime.
CommuniTEA sample: 5 min @ 212 F, second infusion for 10 min @ 212 F. It's a very fruity hibiscus blend. There's some nice, creamy sweetness from the Key Lime Pie flavoring, and it does taste like dessert in that way. I found it to be quite refreshing and natural in lime flavor, but paired with a whipped cream kind of flavor, so you get a bit of sweet and tart. Other than that, it's mostly hibiscus, so if you like hibiscus, you will probably enjoy this blend.
WOWZA. Strong right out of the bag, make sure you don't take a huge sniff of it because it'll go right up your nose! Very good lime notes.
This is a unique flavor I’m glad I tried it. Definitely might get it again
Unusual, refreshing, so good as iced tea! Nice citrusy zip!
Really great tea with alot of flavor and strength. The lime is strong which I like alot. Very Recommended.
The smell is wonderful! It's very tangy and acidic so I don't drink it often.
Extremely sour and hurt my tummy after I drank it. Not sure what happened here but not good
In all honesty this is the first and only tea from Adagio that I’ve disliked in my years and years of buying tea from Adagio. Something about the smell and taste just doesn’t sit right with me—which is weird because I love key lime pie
This tea was a bit too tangy for my taste. I paired it with other fruit flavored teas to bring down the caffeine levels.
This was ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS!!! It tasted like sour kool-Aid in the best way possible 🤩 im DEFINITELY getting this in the summery next day. HIGH Recommend!
My favorite herbal tea at night. It taste just like a key lime drink for a beach. Little tart/sour but so good! I still love the pina colada tea but this one is even more tart & flavorful. I add extra tea, 1 heaping TB for a large mug.
YUM. I love lime / lemon stuff and this is spectacular. I will drink literal liters of this
Definitely a unique flavor I wasn't sure if I liked it or didn't like it, very strong and hints of bitter notes
This was a very solid balanced key lime flavor. Nothing artificial about the flavor and the tartness is right on the edge when could brewed or brewed hot and then chilled. When I tried it hot, I found it was a little too tart for me but I have plenty of hot blends to choose from so this can stay as an iced tea treat.
I don't get the key lime part of this herbal as much as just lime, but it's a decent herbal tea and fairly fruity.
This Key Lime Herbal tea is a bit disappointing. It taste a little fake to me and not citrusy enough. I love citrus teas but this one is a failure for me.
I was honestly surprised how much I enjoyed this tea. It was a great refreshing iced tea during the summer, I don’t think I would like it hot but I’ve yet to try that. Didn’t need a lot, but a little sugar really helped to bring that flavor out.
A very good flavor! Very tart though, so I think it’d be better mixed with maybe a fruity rooibos
This tea today was very flavorful. I enjoyed the lime flavor.
Inside of the packaging smelled amazing. Both my hubby and i loved it.
Updated: I cold-steeped it this time around and it's much better this way. It tastes less like key lime pie than what I remember from my last cold-steep, but it's still tart and fruity, and still delicious.
Original review 7/3/22: This one messed with me a little. The packet aroma was... interesting. It just didn't jive with a tea in my mind, at least not initially. The colour of the tea when steeped doesn't embody key lime pie at all, so it's jarring at first, even though it makes absolute sense with the hibiscus. The flavour was definitely enjoyable, though I agree with other reviewers - the lime was more prominent as the tea cooled. This is yet another that would make an ideal cold-steeped tea.
Doesn't seem to have much for lime flavor to my taste, but overall a very pleasant tea.
This was interesting. The hibiscus really added to the tartness of the key lime flavor, but lime flavor was a little weak. I did add the juice of one lime and some cream. 😋
Today's communiTEA sample of Key Lime Herbal tasted mostly of hibiscus with a hint of lime, to me. I can only take hibiscus if it is a faint background note blended with other strong flavors, so this tea is not for me. I'm disappointed because I was hoping to find a nice lime flavor to blend with other teas. I would love to taste the key lime pie flavor in a different tea!
Original review - To me, this has a very artificial lime flavor to it. It honestly tastes as though someone put unsweetened lime Kool-Aid powder in my cup. I like the idea off this tea, but it didn't live up to its name.
Updated 7/3/22 - Cold brewing is key for this tea! I can taste lime this time, and it is very refreshing.
Absolutely delicious tea with strong citrus vibes that works well for both mornings and evenings. Frequent home favorite.
Smelled really good in the pouch. But just okay, a bit too hibiscus forward for me, but still enjoyable.
Definitely a dessert tea. Goes well with any after dinner treat. Brightly refreshing!
I like to try and sample tea. This this one you open it up and you get hit with something I don't really care for the smell and that don't like it I wouldn't buy it it's really strong..
Update I thought I give this another try this morning, I added honey and a lime squeeze and wedge and it actually tasted better. Yes maybe I'll buy another bag later.
This is one of my favorite teas! Hot or cold. Wish I could get it year round. I will have to buy enough to get me through Christmas! And then it’s onto Yuletide Toddy!
Nice mild lime flavor. Would love to try this iced
I was pleasantly surprised by this tea! If lime is your thing, try this. I preferred this iced to that, and it reminds me of lime jello. :)
This was great as a hot or an iced tea! It's not too tart as to make your mouth pinch/pucker up.
I was skeptical of this one but it has become a favorite. The lime is absolutely perfectly balanced, which is no small trick. Not too tart, not too sweet. You do have to add sweetener but it is great.
I’m not sure it tastes like key lime but it's good. I love the fragrance and flavors. I think it might even be better cold brewed. I would order this again.
Update: I switch to 3 minutes brewing and the bitter aftertaste that I did not enjoy is gone. I love the tart and sweet flavor together and both my mom and husband absolutely love it. I also enjoy this as a cod brew.
Refreshing but flavor was muted, makes a refreshing iced tea
