The perfect tea! I should start out by saying that this typically goes against my usual cup of tea. I'm not a fan of chamomile or anything with a mint taste. However, the reviews were great and I enjoy trying new things. The reviews were correct in that the flavors are well balanced and that is what makes this fabulous.

This is a nice blend of flavors. The chamomile provides the relaxation, the vanilla, sweetness. and the mint the right zing for a great balance. The rooibos adds that little bit of body to give it a rich texture. I enjoy it in the evening after dinner. Don't be afraid to give it time to steep.

Hated, til I had a cold
Then this with a touch of honey really 'hit the spot'

★★★★★

My favorite herbal blend. It's cozy and calming but definitely not Celestial Seasonings-y. Nice blend for afternoon or before bed.

★★★★★

A good tea over all has a wide variety of flavors that comprise its over all make up. But I would recommend to a friend, Good cheaper tea that has popularity to back it up. Made better with honey.

I got this in a sampler pack, and reading the description I was sure I wouldn't like it. I don't like rooibos, chamomile can taste like feet to me... so imagine my shock when I made this and not only did I like it, I LOVED it. I came back and bought a big bag of it! Give this a chance and I'm sure you'll be as pleasantly surprised as I was.

I bought 8ozs of this stuff before we even had a chance to finish the sample. I've been slowly introducing tea to my fiance in hopes that it'll help him reduce his soda/coffee intake, and he's always been a bit reluctant to try anything new. Just a whiff of this stuff was enough to get him excited to try it. It smells like a thin mint almost, even though there's no chocolate. This is by far our favorite tea to drink after dinner. It's incredibly soothing during the rainy Seattle winter, and we'v both found that it helps with digestion. This is definitely going to be a staple in our house from now on!

The peppermint dominates the scent, and I expected it would dominate the flavor, but until I sweetened it, I didn't really even notice the peppermint. I haven't had any Rooibos teas prior to this, but I expect that's what I tasted. Sweetening it brings back the peppermint, but it's balanced with the herbal of the rooibos and has a hint of that honey from the chamomile in the background. Quite nice really!

Tasted like a pretty generic minty cammomile tea. Didn't rock my socks

★★★★★

The mint taste isn't overpowering, and leaves you with tingly cool breath!

★★★★☆

A nice lovely night time tea. Very relaxing and quite pretty too. The mint was just the right amount by note overwhelming . I would get again. Make sure your infuser is very fine because if the 'holes' are too large, stuff will get through.

I rated this as 'okay', and I mean that in the most positive way possible. You likely haven't read my review regarding the chamomile tea offered by Adagio, and my discovery that I simply didn't like chamomile tea very much (the smell sickened me, and the tea almost as well).

I am pleased to say that this combination tea is much more tolerable than the chamomile. At the same time, it was STILL chamomile, so I cannot give it a great rating. On nights where I am hard-pressed to find sleep, I may try this tea again, and power through the chamomile aspects- it's very possible in this tea, as the minty flavours help reel in and calm the chamomile down a bit. As I had to use only half the recommended amount of tea in the chamomile, I also use only one equivalent of the tea, rather than 2, but the flavour is still there for me.

The smell can bit a bit chamomile-y still, but the mint makes a world of difference in both scent and taste. I would recommend this FIRST to anyone who likes mint, but maybe wants to try their hand at a bit of chamomile without risk. Also, anyone who likes both flavours should be fine also here. It's definitely good quality of tea.

Lastly, something I forgot to put in the chamomile review, do NOT make a mistake of letting your tea strainer (if you use one. I use one of the cup-like ones that has a lid) sit for too long with chamomile tea in it. This tea turns a bit 'soft' or 'mushy', which becomes a devil to clean out compared to regular tea leaves. So, if you make it before bed and do not plan on resteeping, make sure to clean it out asap. That's all.

Drink on, Adagio!

I'm having a cup right now and I recomment it to anyone who is a tea lover!!!

I've always been turned off by the slightly medicinal taste of chamomile. As an insomniac, though, I've wanted to find a chamomile blend that I could enjoy. When I first opened the bag, the first thought that struck me was how beautiful the blend was--the golden flowers, the light green spearmint. It smelled divine. I agree with another reviewer that it smells like an Andes mint. Taste-wise, it's lovely. The peppermint counteracts the medicinal notes of the chamomile without overpowering it. The hint of vanilla rounds out the blend into a smooth, slightly sweet drink. I'm still waiting to compare it to the Cha Cha, but I think I've found the perfect bedtime drink!

★★★★★

Extremely creamy, and excellent to drink before bed!

This was the first time of trying this tea and wow! I really enjoy it. I could drink it any time of the day.

★★★☆☆

I found the vanilla overpowered the rooibos. I might have liked it more without it. Flavoured tea might not be my thing. But it is quite nice besides, and the whole chamomile flowers make for a very pretty steep.

Love this! It reminds me of Cha Cha but the rooibos (which really stands out) makes it more of an afternoon tea rather than night time tea.

★★★★★

Very good. Smooth blend. Flavors combine very well.

★★★★★

Great tasting blend with a lot of flavor. Could have used a bit more chamomile, but still excellent.

I'm not a huge fan of herbal teas, but this one was okay. The chamomile isn't too overpowering, which is probably why I like it.

★★★★☆

nice blend of tea. a good tea to drink for a relaxing afternoon at home

★★★★★

This got me through my last cold. It's light and a bit minty. Very soothing and relaxing for when your nose won't stop running.

★★★★☆

This is a nice light herbal tea. Really good to have before bed in the evening.I drink it without any additives.

★★★★★

A friend suggested this and I love it. Such a great bedtime tea or for when I'm feeling not so good. I could sip this all day, I make a larger batch and keep it in the fridge. The four parts - chamomile, peppermint, rooibos and a little bit of vanilla - are well balanced. I've been drinking a lot of this and not getting tired of it. Very refreshing.

★★★★☆

Mmm, this one is absolutely delicious. I'm very fond of it.

★★★★★

This tea is somehow the ultimate destress tea. If I feel overloaded by life, I just brew a cup. The peppermint relaxes my stomach and the chamomile settles my mind, and the rooibos and vanilla just pulls it all together to make it a really delicious destress method.

★★★★★

good right before bed with a good book does not keep you awake

★★★★★

This has a very complex flavor. I can taste the chamomile and mint particularly well, and there is a slight rooibos finish. Brews dark, and is good with or without sweetener. One of my favorites before bed time.

I decided to grab this tea when I saw another reviewer mention they were a longtime 'Sleepytime' tea user from another brand. I too drank that tea all the time and was looking for a better alternative, and this is IT! I was worried about the addition of vanilla rooibos adding too much of a sweetness, but it was perfect. Even though the name and description implies that this is an energizing tea, it's actually a perfect calming tea before bed -- especially if you ate a bit much that evening! You do want to be sure to toss the bag a bit as the rooibos and mint settles under the chamomile.

★★★★★

When I opened the bag, I was surprised that it smelled like sunshine and happiness sitting in a pond of spearmint. Like seriously, I could smell this tea forever, its amazing. I was also shocked that I could drink it straight up with no sugar, honey or milk. Thistea don't need any additional love, it stands strong on its own.

★★★★★

This is a really relaxing tea. The chamomile, vanilla, and peppermint blend together much better than I thought they would. I love having this as my before bed tea.

This tea would be fine for someone who loves mint, but I was hoping for more Chamomile. the mint was a bit overpowering for me.

★★★★☆

This is a good, standard herbal tea. It is very nice for a calm night in.

★★★★★

This is a very nice, refreshing tea. I think I might order some more in the future.

★★★★☆

This tea sooths me at night before retiring for the day. I could not ask for a better taste

★★★☆☆

Can't say it's my favorite. It's a bit on the dull side, and the kick of mint doesn't have quite the impact you'd hope. It's okay.

★★★★☆

I like this blend, but the rooibos flavor definitely overpowers the peppermint and chamomile.

★★★★★

Exceptional tea. The different notes of mint blend perfectly with the light chamomile while the vanilla and the roobios sit calmly in the background. Fantastic over ice and is a refreshing way to cool off on a hot day.

You should be sure to give the bag a good shake before scooping any out- the chamomile tends to rise to the surface, and the rooibos and peppermint get cluttered at the bottom. Still, the dry tea smells incredible, though mostly entirely of peppermint, and even after steeping, peppermint was the predominant scent (though muted some). But the tea itself tastes marvelous, the chamomile and rooibos evening out the mint's sharp edges and making one perfect, relaxing cup of tea, ideal for bedtime.

Nicely minty and calming, but as I got down to the bottom of my cup I just kept thinking... eh. Ehhhhhh.
Decent but not a favorite.

★★★★★

This is a perfect nighttime tea. I especially love the mint flavor.

★★★★★

We both love this tea! It doesn't stand up well to re-brewing, but the flavor that first time around is so nice and calming. I think it tastes like mint chocolate chip ice cream. Will definitely buy more.

★★★★★

According to my reviews, I should be a dance lover, because last week I graded cha-cha with highest grade, and now doing the same for foxtrot.

However, I'm not dance lover, but dance-tea lover.

★★★★★

This was a wonderful smooth tea! This arrived when I was fighting a cold and the peppermint and chamomile were wonderful to have! I ordered a larger supply of this and will keep this on stock

★★★★★

I'm not a fan of plain chamomile, I always have to have it blended in with something else, but I like the calming qualities of it. The peppermint in this gives it such a wonderful fresh feeling after a sip, and the rooibos is light enough that I barely taste it. It doubles as a great tea for a sore throat of when you're sick! One of the best chamomile type teas I've tasted.

★★★★☆

I wouldn't say it's my favorite, but it is a pretty good and nicely refreshing tea :-)

★★★★★

This tea is very good. Bought it for night time tea and sore throats but its great anytime. Sweet and light.

★★★★★

This tea is fantastic! I was wary at first, because the straight rooibos left a strange feeling in my mouth, but I enjoyed this very much. It is a good night time cup, and can easily make multiple cups. The only issue I had was that I found it hard to clean out of my infuser.
