An okay tea blend for me. Chamomile is not my favorite tea base so I had low expectations. The peppermint comes through stronger than the vanilla.

★★★★☆

This was a very pleasant cup. Based on other reviews, many people are hit or miss on chamomile. I happen to be a fan. This mixes well with the peppermint flavor. While I would not have identified rooibos as a flavor without reading the ingredients, it seems to make a good bridge between the two primary flavors. When the tea was still hot, chamomile was the most predominant taste, but as it cooled, it mellowed into a mild mint that was more soothing than energizing. Looking forward to trying my second steep just before bed!!

It had been a while since I tried this one, it was in the 2020 advent calendar, which was my introduction to Adagio. I enjoyed it then and still do! I had some black tea this morning but this is a delightful tea for a relaxing Sunday afternoon. Would be nice for the evening too. I enjoy these blends with mint and chamomile. I prefer cha cha over foxtrot, but each is unique. The vanilla is a nice addition. If anyone who is not a rooibos fan is wondering, I personally don’t taste rooibos in this tea per se. It’s nicely balanced.

I really like this tea. I can't drink caffeine teas sometimes and this is a really nice tea to have for those times. It's really nice as a latte with foamed milk with a sprinkle of nutmeg on top. It's also really great as an iced tea. I just take the tea in jug of water and leave it in the fridge overnight.

The peppermint in the most prominent flavor. The chamomile enhances the smooth creamy nature of the vanilla. All together they remind me of peppermint cream.

I find the peppermint to be the most powerful taste, but I'm not complaining! This is a comforting blend that, although isn't caffeinated, stills gives me a kick.

The rooibos, peppermint, and vanilla subtly enhance the flavor of this tea, however the chamomile flavor tends to dominate it overall. I like this blend, but wish it was a little lighter on the chamomile to give the other flavors a chance to shine.

Tasting with the CommuniTEA today: Lots of peppermint with a hint of chamomile detected wafting from the dry ingredients and the packet today. When steeped for 5 mins at 212° F, i notice a scent of peppermint, chamomile, and a tiny hint of vanilla. When I take a sip I taste mainly chamomile, accented with mint and a with a finish is a hint of warm, woody vanilla, but the rooisbos is negligible. Personally, I would prefer more vanilla, to round out the herbaceous chamomile.

Good tea, it was smooth and light. I enjoyed it, not a favorite, but good.

I never had a blend of chamomile and red tea before (tho I love both separately) and was pleasantly surprised by how the two meld in the cup. A nice tea. I steeped it a moderate amount of time, but I prob will prefer a quick steep on this as to not let the vanilla over power the cup.

This one was pretty good, but not my favorite combination of flavors

I don't like chamomile at all! The best thing in this is the EZ-Sweetz. With that being said, if I had to get used to drinking chamomile for medicinal purposes, this would be an okay way to do it. I'm in a generous frame of mind, so I'll bump up my rating by a star since I do love peppermint. It's at least not so bad that I feel like pouring it out. I'll make it up to myself later by sharing a cup of my husband's arabica chai with him. (5 mins @ 212 F, 2 drops EZ-Sweetz)

For me the standout layers of this tea are the rooibos vanilla and peppermint. The chamomile doesn't really add or detract as far as I'm concerned. My communiTEA review might be slightly influenced by the fact that it's pretty early in the day for me to be drinking something herbal, so I've got a cup of black tea going at the same time to try and wake myself up! With that being said, I've had this tea before and liked it quite a bit; it's yet another one of those catalog teas that I'd be happy to get or give as a gift but wouldn't put in my own cart because of all the wonderful alternatives available. (10 mins @ 212 F, no additions)

My packet seemed to have a nicely balanced blend of all the ingredients. Although I enjoy all of the ingredients (except for the rooibos) on their own, I was not loving the taste of this tea. I find chamomile to be a relaxing type of tea, but I found the mint was trying to compete and it made me not really love the combination in my cup. I'm sure many will enjoy the combination of flavours but sad to say, this was just not my cup of tea!

If you enjoy Chamomile tea this blend with peppermint and vanilla is a delightfully soothing sip. Although chamomile is the main flavor, partner flavors peppermint and vanilla complement and elevate the earthy yet sweet and floral taste of chamomile well.

An aroma from the CommuniTEA packet upon opening was at once a pleasant mix of chamomile, peppermint, and vanilla. I steeped 2 tsp of the fluffy loose tea with all ingredients in a 10 oz. mug at 212F for 7:30 minutes. The golden medium brown liquor had the same aroma as the dry tea. When sipped hot, the tea tasted of chamomile first with sidekick flavors of peppermint and vanilla following closely behind. These flavors melded together seamlessly to make a very tasty tea. I didn’t notice the flavor of rooibos until the tea had cooled to almost room temperature. The aftertaste let me know its gently woody flavor was there all along but not as a domineering tea base.

I found this tea most flavorful in the first steep. In the second steep, the tea tasted mainly of chamomile with the flavors of peppermint and vanilla too mild to enjoy. I sipped plain at first to identify the flavors then decided to sweeten with honey which brightened all flavors for a truly tasty and relaxing sip.

Need to think about maybe waiting till evening on the caffeine free offerings, though the hour nap after my first cup wasn’t unwelcome (old dog insisted on an earlier morning outing and foods today). All the smells seemed subtle this morning nothing overpowering or overly dominating. Honestly just right for a quiet early morning.

The tea itself was much the same, I wasn’t a fan of the straight chamomile earlier in the month- but as a blend - it’s welcome. I was able to taste the vanilla though it was subtle and light, but welcome and the peppermint was a nice touch, that added a bit of a mint at the end. I believe I taste the rooibos as well, but having it had a straight rooibos am not sure of its exact taste- but I have some floating around in my stash and I think it’s time to try it so I can identify it.

I tried this in two brewings one at 205° and again later at 212° both for 5 min, I think I preferred the firs, as the vanilla and what I think was the rooibos was a little more present, and the second had just a little hint of a astringent aftertaste. It’s one I could certainly see drinking again.

I got a trial of the Communitea, and this was my first one! I didn't look at what the tea was before brewing, just followed instructions on the package. The loose leaf tea visually looks really great- I've never had loose leaf chamomile before. The smell was delightful- chamomile and peppermint really come through.

I usually steep towards the lower end, so I steeped 3 minutes. It tasted pretty much like regular chamomile, which is fine, but nothing special. Then I went to the webpage to look up what it was, and saw most of the reviews said steep for 7-8 minutes. So I popped the tea back in for another 4 minutes, and added a small amount of sugar, as one reviewer mentioned, and it is delightful!

The taste is still strongly chamomile, but steeped longer you really get subtle notes of peppermint and vanilla. I generally don't like peppermint tea, but the flavor here is just enough to enhance and not overpower. I don't drink a lot of herbal tea, but I did really enjoy this cup.

A little over a year ago I purchased an eight ounce bag of this blend ‘cause I really liked it a lot! I mean to tell ya that I might have maxed-out on chamomile forever 😳! Today I will attempt to write a fair and honest communiTEA review of this blend with all of this in the back of my mind. Give me the strength, oh great tea gods 🙏 …

In my packet, all ingredients were in the proper proportions like I remembered them. Every last one of them was a-grinin’ at me with excitement! Moderate chamomile and peppermint aromas were noted

Prior experiences with this blend told me to steep for seven minutes at 212°F.

When hot, moderate chamomile and mild peppermint flavors were noted. Vanilla flavors were mild. I added ¼ teaspoon of sugar to smooth tastes and sweeten flavors.

When warm, chamomile and peppermint tastes continued at the same level. The vanilla and rooibos combined their efforts to supply a pleasantly smooth mouthfeel.

The rooibos tea provided a great woody and earthy base for allowing all flavors to shine. All ingredients were blended in the proper proportions.

When I first had a tea bag of this, I was not impressed. I liked it better a few months later when it came around for the Communitea. I could smell peppermint and vanilla in my packet, and my first sip was a bit like a peppermint patty. Subsequent sips were very chamomile-heavy, earthy and not my favorite. In the final sip, peppermint and vanilla lingered for a pleasant aftertaste. Vanilla seemed more prominent than I've noted in vanilla rooibos, and in fact, I didn't even taste the rooibos at all this time with everything else happening in this cup. Prolonged steeping or rapid drinking of this tea will result in a chamomile overpowering. I found this more pleasant and complex than plain chamomile, but not as fun or impressive as cha cha. More relaxing, perhaps, than its peppy cousin, but not enough for me to revisit again soon.

It always feels unfair to rate anything with rooibos so low because the taste of it is so noxious and medicinal that it is always a no from me. Probably a nice tea for those who like rooibos.

I think if you really enjoy rooibos you'll enjoy this. But not for me. A little too many flavors going on at once for my liking.

I was initially very intrigued by this tea. I thought it would be a great option; however, the 'touch of vanilla' seems to be quite a bit more powerful than anticipated and I'm not a fan. It gives the tea a semi-artificial vanilla flavor. I'm opting for 'Cha Cha' instead, which is essentially the same, but sans the vanilla.

The Foxtrot tea is awesome. I will definitely order this tea in the future.

This blend was not for me, due to the slight vanilla flavor which I typically do not like in my teas. It is a decent tea, but I prefer Adagio's Cha Cha blend.

This remains my absolute favorite herbal tea blend of all time. It's balanced wonderfully and soothes the body and soul with every cup. Do yourself a favor and give it a try! Chances are you'll love it too.

One of the first teas I bought from Adagio over 12 years ago and drinking it again brings back so many memories. It is a solid blend; it's been on the top of the charts for as long as it's been around.
