Get's very strong if you let it seep too long. Burns a bit. Better to drink after recommended time.

I was looking for a ginger lemon tea. This isn't it, but it's a wonderful tea. It's a full body ginger tea. I tried it at several different steeping times. I liked the 5 minutes. YMMV.

Spicy and deliciously fruity. Not as heavy on the ginger as I thought it would be, which wasn't a bad thing. The citrus is strong but not overpowering. If you're looking for a stronger ginger flavor, this might not be the tea for you.

I am in LOVE with this tea! It's super gingery, but the strawberry bits take the edge off so even though the ginger is really strong, it doesn't come with the burning sensation of some other ginger things.

Can’t do double ginger. I am not a hot spice girl so this is too much for me.

Great ginger taste...love ginger taste t begin with though. I steep it ..keep tea bag in the tea ...which I rarely do but with this tea it pays off.. the 'bite' of the ginger gets stronger with time and I prefer that. Some who want ginger but are not fond of the 'bite' might remove tea bags.

I'm sure that some would like the intense heat of this tea, I am not one of them

This is good for the ginger lover in your life. Definitely might work if you have a cold, too.

VERY gingery to me, I like to use this one to blend with another black tea.

This is easily the best herbal tea I have ever had. Most bagged ginger teas seem weak to me, and quite a few rely on black pepper for their spicy bite. Here, the ginger is real and substantial. It's spicy, warming, soothing, and well-balanced with the other ingredients in the blend. Absolute perfection! Steep for 10 minutes to get the full flavor.

I love LOVE a nice strong ginger flavor, and if you add just some honey, it tastes like candied ginger, so good.

So sweet! So spicy!! I hate licorice, so I am always troubled trying to find a ginger tea that doesn't have any. This is just wonderful, though. Clean and spicy.
It may sound weird of me, but if you add it cold to ginger ale... it's lovely.

I liked this tea best with honey and no other sweeteners.

Was not as impressed with this as I thought I was going to be. But it was alright.

If double ginger is this great, I look forward to triple ginger!

Very tasty (I love ginger). I taste a lot of peach with the ginger.

I'm used to the heavy smack from ginger sodas so this comes to me as more of a joyful high-five. Nice relaxing sipper.

Love this tea, it has strong ginger taste which I really like.

This is a tasty tea: not too sweet or over-spiced, but with a pretty robust flavor. I think I may get it again. For something called 'double ginger,' though, I would have expected and liked more ginger.

The ginger is strong and delicious. Not for the faint of heart or stomach. I’ve not found a ginger tea as potent or delicious as Double Ginger. If you want something weak and wimpy, don’t buy this tea.

Very similar flavor to the turmeric bliss but just with ginger notes instead of turmeric.

This has been my favorite blend yet from my orders. I’m a huge fan of ginger, and while it is the star of the show, there are so many wonderful accompaniments to this blend that truly make it special.

A bit of a zip to it and exactly what I wanted as a throat soother. It has a variance of taste that means the ginger isn't overwhelming while still being the star.

the smell of this tea totally embodies the name. it is ginger to another level. its almost too much for me but i can't deny the medicinal effects. totally helps with minor indigestion. i may keep some on hand for that reason. i do prefer it cold vs hot, it is refreshing and soothing to the tummy.

It was good, but (and this was shocking for me because I LOVE ginger) it was actually a bit too much ginger! It would probably make a great ginger ale replacement if you added carbonated water and sugar to it though.

I really love ginger, and this tea is quite flavorful and enjoyable. The peppercorns as a nice twist that I haven't found in other ginger teas on the market. This is a good nighttime relaxer tea.

My new favorite tea! It has a 'kick' but is also soothing. I have also blended with the lemongrass ginger. Great for soothing stomach uneasiness as well as throat coating when adding raw honey.

This is a nice warm gingery drink. I don't think it is one of my favorites though, even though i love ginger.

This is pretty good, but not as spicy as I was anticipating. I don't know if I will but this tea again, but I will definitely finish what I have,

I liked this tea, but not as much as I thought I would and not as much as the other teas I got from Adagio. Thus, I haven't drank much of it. I love Ginger and this has a strong ginger and peppery taste. Maybe why I wasn't as enthusiastic about it because I like the fresh taste of fresh ginger and honey tea and this is very spice based. I like it, but have to be in the right mood.

Not quite the punch of ginger I was expecting given the 'DOUBLE' ginger name, but still a very pleasant cup. It's more light and fruity with a nice ginger burn at the end. Warming on a cold day, and would probably work very well iced, too.

I wish this was more ginger and less other flavors the other flavors I feel overwhelmed the taste of ginger but still good overall

I am amazed how well-rounded this is. I was expecting, given the name, a serious punch in the face of ginger, but the fruit flavors balance it nicely, so it's strong but not overpowering.

My favorite tea for when I'm sick. It's strong enough to clear my sinuses all the way out and I can actually taste it. It's too strong for an everyday tea though.

★★★★★

I love that this tea captures the spicy spirit of ginger. The peppercorns in this blend add the kick you expect when eating fresh/pickled/candied ginger, but usually lose in the steeping process of dried tea. The fruity flavors add interest.

This is a great go to ginger tea if the regular root is hard to get a hold of. I personally prefer the ginger root with its powerful punch and not so much the peppery taste that this tea has. But, II will settle for this tea if I can not have the root. It is perfect for bloating, upset stomach, and menstrual cramps for us woman that have them pretty nasty that time of the month. It could use a little more ginger root though.

★★★★★

This is a nice ginger tea with a pepper kick that almost made it taste a little savory.

Really enjoyed this tea! It was sweeter than I thought it'd be with the strawberry and orange flavors, which worked really nicely with the ginger. The ginger and pepper stuck out more on resteeps.

I love this. I have it in the evening. No caffeine. It is so refreshing and soothing. This tea is on my short list of favorite teas.

★★★★☆

This tea blend is citrusy and spicy. The double ginger definitely creates some heat of its own, but it's just punchy enough without being too hot to enjoy. So glad I tried this blend!
