I hope to never go without this tea in my pantry! I love blending it with pretty much anything and everything. strawberry is a regular favorite but it's phenomenal with black teas, too.

I hope to never go without this tea in my pantry! I love blending it with pretty much anything and everything. strawberry is a regular favorite but it's phenomenal with black teas, too.
It was okay. Nothing wrong with it and I liked it well enough. Didn't taste like much of anything though. It had the bite of candied ginger, but not really any flavor.
I drink this in the morning and the ginger is surprisingly balanced despite the name. Don’t get me wrong, it packs a ginger punch. But it allows other bright flavors come through.
Just the right amount of spice you'd expect from it's name sake. I like to use this tea to soothe the throat with a bit of honey.
Disappointing. Underwhelming. Uninspired. After reading all of the positive reviews, I had great expectations for this tea. But boy was it a letdown. While there is an initial bite of heat/spice, it quickly fades to a mediocre cup of meh. For a tea named “double ginger” there is very little of the bright, citrusy, zest/zing of actual ginger. If you want a true cup of ginger tea, I recommend steeping slices of fresh ginger in just water or your favorite white or green tea with lemon or orange and a touch of honey. This tea, in my opinion, is not worth the money.
This is great but I found the ginger taste comes out more if I steep it a longer then recommended. I'd love to try it with some hot honey.
Why settle for ginger when you can get twice the kick. Just as the name states this is a delicious strong ginger with some spice and peppercorn.
Spicy and so delicious. I like the ginger for digestion and some anti inflammatory benefits from the tea as well
Another wonderful tea! Great for warming the body in the winter months. It has some hints of citrus, pepper and of course lots of ginger!
This is wonderfully in your face. Bought it specifically for cold season earlier this winter, and sure enough, we had need of it soon enough. Works great to just stick your nose over it while it is very hot, but it is yummy to drink too. Some may find it too strong, but I like it.
We love this tea. It’s very gingery and spicy, and great with some honey and fresh lemon when sickness comes around. Reorder for sure!
Love strong ginger teas. This is a good one to get.
I like ginger and this was certainly ginger flavored. But the peppercorn was also prominent. Not something I would drink daily but more when I needed a bit of spice. I might add some lemon to this to balance the flavors.
This has become a new daily tea for me - it's fiery and yet still warm and comforting at the same time.
I recently shared a pot with a friend who was seeking (alleged) health benefits from ginger. We both enjoyed this and took our cups with honey and milk. It was nice and spicy with hints of peach. I’ll look forward to reaching for this one during cold winter days.
One of the favorite teas in the household. Spicy and great for upset tummy or cold virus. I recommend adding fennel seed for indigestion.
Double ginger is my go to! Little spice from the ginger & perfect sweetness. I cut and add fresh ginger to it as well.
Excellent spicy ginger tea. The peppercorn (I sometimes add a little extra) ramps up the flavor and gives this tea excellent energy. I used to get a similar tea for much more from a different tea shop, and I have to say that I like this one even beter.
Nice and spicy. Great for de-bloating. One of my new favorites!
Ordered double ginger for the first time. It exceeded all my expectations. Yummiest ginger tea I have ever had. Smooth, soft, delicious.
Preface this by saying I am not a fan of ginger in anything that is minus all the other fall spices or squash and pumpkin flavors. So I went into this hesitant, but open minded. I did not like it even though I finished the cup to see if flavor changed over cool down and such. For me, it was just too much ginger and peppercorns the latter of which I actually like with other spices just not in this one. It really just tasted like hot ginger. I didn't get any of the fruits outside of a subtle sweetness to it which is sad because I think if the fruit flavors were cranked up a bit I may have actually liked this one as a spicy fruit concoction. This could very well be a case of CT packet size ingredient disparity hence the 3 stars and not lower. Happy to try, but probably not going to be a purchase any time soon. 212° 5 min.
Based on the name and description, I expected this to have a strong ginger flavor. I tasted it at 5 minutes, then 7, and then stopped steeping at 10 so I could drink it, Next time I will put it in a tea bag and probably just leave it in. I have a super high ginger tolerance though. I still think it’s a good tea and would be great to drink anytime of the day since it’s caffeine-free, just doesn’t live up to the name or description for me.
The ginger and peppercorns give this tea a great zing and the rest of the flavors gave it a smooth finish. I thought it was highly enjoyable.
I loved this tea! It's what I want herbal ginger tea to taste like. Great ginger flavor without being unpleasantly strong.
If you love ginger with every fiber of your being, you will love Double Ginger.
Drinking this tea first thing in the morning was an unexpected way to wake up! The ginger is an absolute standout in my cup and is definitely gingery.
Interesting combo. I never would have thought of this with out this day taste. Smells wonderful! I like the flavor but not sure I would try it again.
Very pleasant warm, spicy ginger but not too spicy.
CommuniTEA sample: 5 min @ 212 F, second cup for 10 min @ 212 F. It smells sweet, spicy, and delicious. It makes me hungry just smelling it! I love ginger, it's one of my favorite spices, this tea smells amazing, and looking through the contents, I see a lovely amount of ginger and peppercorns. Unfortunately, the taste was a little bit lacking. In the future, I will try using a higher tea-to-water ratio, and longer infusion times.
I’ve been buying tea from Adagio for 20+ years and this is one of my favorite herbals they have ever sold. Very strong and pungent ginger flavor with spicy notes of peppercorns. I enjoy it with a little bit of honey after steeping for 7-10 min. Highly recommend to any lovers of ginger.
For anyone looking for a strong cup of ginger heavy tea this absolutely delivers. I drank this to help with nausea and congestion and was not dissapointed
Ginger flavor was a bit overpowering and taste was mildly medicinal. Will be great for my stomach but I would like to mix with a other flavor like chamomile
To tell you the truth, as a hot tea I was looking for more flavor. Perhaps I should have used more tea when brewing – but I used the amount I normally use in my tea and it did not pack the punch that I wanted. I was hoping for a bold ginger flavor. It is good as a cold tea with an earthy flavor. I like it but it is not one of favorites.
My favorite ginger tea! It's definitely spicy. The spice won't be overwhelming for verified ginger lovers, but it might be too much for those who aren't used to it. The herbs and spices give a well-rounded body that other ginger teas don't have, and they don't compete with the ginger either. The pepper is harmonious, and the fruits are quite subtle. This is not a go-to tea for when I want to relax, but it definitely satisfies a ginger craving.
I was expecting this to be far more bold than it is by its name. However, aside from the name, the tea itself is absolutely delightful. Not overpowering at all and absolutely wonderful to cook with, blend with, and drink all by itself. It's just delightful! I love it mixed with Jasmine, ground ginger, nutmeg and cinnamon! oh yummy.
I love ginger teas and this one is no exception. It has a nice kick to it and a very nice ginger flavor.
I thought the ginger flavor would be overpowering, but it wasn't at all. It's offset nicely by the fruity background. The ginger flavor still came through on the 3rd brewing of the same leaves, and was present on the 4th brewing. I liked this tea combined with a fruitier herbal tea for a gently ginger fruit blend.
This is my absolute favorite. A little raw sugar helps this tea shine! Just trying to reach 100 characters...lol
Strong but flavorful. Would be good for cold season.
I love ginger and usually think most ginger flavored items are not gingery enough, but this one is just right. Nice and spicy on the tongue with a peppery finish. Good both hot and cold. I like to use and leftover brewed tea in Arnold Palmers and this one yields a nice gingery lemonade. It is also soothing if you are having digestive issues. I'll be keeping this one in stock.
If you like ginger you will love this tea. Strong and warming, perfect for upset stomachs or feeling under the weather.
I absolutely love this tea. When my tummy is upset this helps
Tastes great! Looks nice. Smells awesome. Blends with other teas nicely. Cleans your chakra and aura.
Yummy! I will definitely repurchase. Wish the ginger and pepper were a little bit stronger v. the fruits but gets stronger the longer you brew, so I can customize
Woo! Spicy! But, not too spicy. This is pretty much what I was looking for when I wanted an intense ginger flavor, but the peppercorns really made this tea a league of its own. I gotta add that this tea is a blessing when you have a sour or upset stomach. It really soothed mine. :)
For true ginger lovers! I love the bold and spicy body of this herbal blend. The pepper is a nice complement to the spice of the ginger. Delicious with honey and soy milk. I always have this one in stock at home!
My new favorite! I love stirring in some honey. It does wonders for my cramps.
This had very strong flavors of ginger and pepper, but I really enjoyed it. I will probably not drink this regularly, but I would recommend if you like these types of flavors.
I love the combination of the spicy kick of ginger and pepper! It makes it a very enjoyable, flavorful, and robust tea.
This tea is certainly not as scary as the name sounds. I loveee ginger, but I was kinda uncertain about it being double ginger, with obvious peppercorns.
All that being said it is just the perfect amount of spice, and tastes kinda caramel-ey. I don’t really get a fruity taste from it either
