I had this tea tonight and I put it over ice. YUM! It smelled like it would be overpowering, but it was actually really nice and a delicious nighttime treat. Would definitely recommend!

★★★★★

The smell of this tea is great. It can smell like cherry medicine but it also smells like maraschino cherries. It really depends on what scent is most familiar to you. The taste was somewhat tart, which I liked. I could pick out cherries and apples. With sugar, the fruit came out a bit more. It has a wide steep time so I am experimenting with longer steep times to see what I prefer and recommend.

I love cherry tea, and this is one of the best I've ever tried. The rose hip and hibiscus base blends well into a unison of black cherry flavor. I did not find the smell to be medicinal at all. To me, it smelled like cherry juice. It also mixes great with other teas, tastes fantastic iced and makes a yummy dessert tea with lots of honey.

The scent is definitely cough-drop-inspired, and brewed by itself it really has that cough syrup vibe. I've been mixing it with some other teas to see if it can be redeemed - and it's actually not bad when brewed with chestnut. But I don't think I'll be buying this one again.

Not a fan of many cherry-flavoured things, but a lover of cherries, the smell of this tea first put me off. However, once brewed, this is a lovely sweet cheerful cup.

Wow! This stuff is awesome! Not only is the color a juicy ruby red, the taste is just as delicious as the color. Sweet and just a bit tart. If you like it sweeter just a bit of honey will do nicely. I even ate some of the cherries before I made the tea and they were really nice. I will def order more of this stuff!

★★★★☆

I think this would taste better to me iced. Very cherry smell and aroma. Would be great mixed with some chocolate for valentines day

When I opened the bag the first time, it smelled like watered down cough syrup, like that heavily artificial cherry flavoring that makes me despise cherry-flavored Kool Aid, candy, etc. I know that the smell of tea (especially after it's been in a sealed bag for so long and opened for the first time) isn't usually an exact representation of how it tastes. I tried it, and it was okay, though I think I made it too strong or something, because that weird, tingly 'cough syrup' taste showed up very slightly afterward.

For me, this is a good tea for blending. It has a lot of hibiscus in it, which I happen to not like, but it is good blended with an earl grey black. Overall, decent tea, but not my favorite.

This is practically dessert in a cup! Loved it, was a bit like cherry cool aid, but who doesn't like that?

★★★☆☆

I found it disappointing. Not quite sweet enough, but I suppose that's what honey is for...

★★★★☆

it is very good sweet and cherry not much else I can except if want something different just try it

I was a little worried when I opened the pouch and got smacked with an almost overpowering sweet cherry aroma and was afraid this tea would end up tasting something like cough syrup. However, once it brewed up it mellowed out into a lovely ruby-red concoction with a sweet, mild, almost floral scent, a little tang, and a nice smooth cherry taste. I added a little dab of honey and returned some of the now-softened apple bits to the tea and WOW. Will definitely buy again.

★★★★☆

This is a nice tasting tea. I don't think it smells medicinal at all. I enjoy mine with honey and a drop of almond milk just to cut the slight tartness.

★★★☆☆

To me, this one just tastes like cough syrup. I'm normally a black tea drinker, so maybe it's just me.

★★★★☆

I purchased this for a friend. She told me that it mixes very well with green tea, but she probably won't ever drink it on its own.

★★★★☆

So sweet, you almost don't need any sugar. I really liked it.

Refreshing. A little tart, so tastes like fresh cherries.

★★★☆☆

It tastes a bit like a cherry cough drop, but on the whole is rather good. May or may not buy again.

★★★☆☆

I tried it hot and it's a bit sour, but at least doesn't taste like cherry medicine. I think it might be better cold.

★★★★☆

It has a very strong cherry taste, and an even stronger aroma. Definitely a must for those who love cherries!

★★★★★

If you like cherry at all, get this and get it now! It's delightfully tart unsweetened, and just as wonderful with you prefer it with just a bit of sugar or honey!

I really enjoyed this tea iced, though I was surprised at how sweet it was. Definitely not a sour cherry flavor, which is fine, but anyone looking for that be warned!

love this flavor!tastes like kool-aid when sweetened right! SO GOOD! (smells funky in the package though)

★★★★★

I'm really in love with this tea and it will probably be what gets me through NaNoWriMo. I've never been a huge tea person, but this has changed that. It's sweet and a little sour and pretty much a perfect alternative to sugary sodas and sports drinks. It is somewhat of an acquired taste, but once you do, you can't get enough of it.

This one is hands down my fave. It's *almost* good its own without sugar, but since I am a southern girl at heart, I still sweetened it some. I foresee me ordering this one by the pound!

Very sweet, and no tartness at all to balance it. Just ok.

★★★★☆

Tastes very sweet, with a distinct tartness that makes the cherry flavor very clear. Tastes like weaker cherry Kool-Aid, definitely something to be had in case of a sweet tooth.

Tangy and sweet, this brewed up to a lovely, translucent red, probably due to the hibiscus. The cherry came though as an aftertaste for me, but a bit of natural sugar cured that right up! I may look into pairing with almond, as suggested below. Great tea!

★★★★☆

I tried the dewy cherry sangria at tea and cocktails last week. INCREDIBLE.

Absolutely delicious, and makes an awesome iced tea!

★★★★★

Love it! I really like the blend of flavors and the beautiful ruby color it is after steeping. The tartness is super especially when paired with rock sugar!

★★★★☆

Soft, fruity flavor. Don't inhale when you drink because it smells like medicine.

This had a nice flavor in the mouth, but I noticed a medicinal aftertaste. It's not too noticeable, though.

★★★★★

This is a very strong herbal - but it pairs wonderfully with almond! It's sweet without tasting artificial.

★★★★☆

So sweet, nicely tart. With a little bit of sugar it tastes very similar to a cherry-flavoured Starburst chewy candy.

From the bag. very fragrant. I can understand why people feel this is too medicinal-like. It's very reminiscent of cough syrup... and I'm into it. It's like maraschino cherry with a bit of floral notes lingering beneath the surface.

From the cup, the nose is a slightly more subdued version of the bag aroma. Not quite as artificial-smelling. The taste is not quite like a cherry candy (like cherry Starburst), but not far off either. Slightly acidic and slightly tart, but not off putting. I bet making this into iced tea would yield some sort of Kool-Aid type drink.

Just made a cup, took a sip and whoa. It's amazing. Very rich. Adding it to my list of favorites.

★★★★★

I didn't expect this tea to be my favorite of the fruit-flavored herbals, but it's wonderful. Alone, it's almost a dessert tea, but it complements my Earl Grey beautifully, as well.

Kool-aid. It tastes exactly like that, to me. It's not a bad thing, though - probably a much healthier alternative to the actual stuff. This is much better iced, as a result, though. hot it reminded me of medicine, but cold it's quite refreshing and tasty.

This tea was delicious. It doesn't have the same couch-syrup flavor and aroma as many other cherry teas, and it was really wonderful hot with a bit of honey.

★★★★★

Ah, finally a cherry tea that doesn't remind me of cough syrup! Rich, fruity flavor, great with honey. I imagine this is tasty iced.

I am not a fan of fruity teas by themselves but this is a great blend.

★★★☆☆

I really wanted to like this. I bought a sample to use for blending and I had plans for it but... the smell. It's EXACTLY like cherry cough syrup. The taste is strong, so use it sparingly or with a stronger tea for blending. It's just the scent that's so offputting.

Yuck... just Yuck. Bitter, Sour, very very strong and fruity, but too bitter.

★★★★★

Cherry is one of my favorite flavors and this tea doesn't disappoint! It is a smooth, full bodied tea flavored with a rich cherry taste. Finishes smooth with no aftertaste

★★★☆☆

it's good for mixing with herbal teas or even peach tea, but I wouldn't make a drink with this tea only, a bit too sweet, they made a lovely sangria cocktail with this tea the other day in on of adagio stores

★★★★★

OMG...It was exactly what others said, tastes exactly like an all natural cherry koolaid! My kids LOVE it! Exactly what I was expecting...so delicious and so good for you, who could ask for anything more! Definitely our family favorite so far! I'm almost out of our first order, so this time I will be ordering the whole pound...can't wait!

★★☆☆☆

I really wanted to like this tea, but found the smell and taste overpowering. The smell reminded me of cherry cough syrup, and the taste was overly sour.

This one knocks itself out the park still. I love the smell the moment I open the bag, crisp and sweet. Then drinking it is just a wonderful treat. This is such a great easy, smooth summer tea and I already want to try experimenting with making it as an ice tea next, too.
