It smells nice, almost like apple pie, but I tried brewing it a couple times and it just comes out intensely bitter.
Chicory-based coffee alternative with cocoa nibs, cinnamon, and dandelion featuring a smooth roasty, toasty character.

It smells nice, almost like apple pie, but I tried brewing it a couple times and it just comes out intensely bitter.
This is the perfect replacement for my morning cup of coffee! I brews quickly into a dark tea that looks very much like coffee.
This might be my favorite tea. It's defintiely my favorite herbal tea. I love it with a dash of maple syrup and oat milk. It is the most comforting cup to have a thermos full of in winter.
This tea has a chocolate and a light mint flavor aftertaste, it's delicious in place of a coffee. The tea is full bodied and has a pleasant nutty flavor
I'm always looking for coffee alternatives, and this is a great one. Earthy without being dirty, dark without being bitter...chicoriccino has a lovely taste and depth.
I love the idea of this tea, but I have to be very careful to steep it no more than 3 minutes. To me, it has an unpleasant bitter flavor which becomes very pronounced with longer steeping. I love the bitterness of black coffee, so I'm not sure what it is about this tea -- just not my favorite!
A really unique flavor that's great for any time of day, but I especially liked it in the evening to sip on while relaxing.
ตอนเปิดถุงมาหอมมาก ชอบ แต่พอชงดื่มแล้วก็ไม่ได้ชอบขนาดนั้น ออกสมุนไพร เหมือนยาอมแก้ไอบางยี่ห้อ
This is much better than I was expecting, to be honest. It has a pleasant, coffee-like flavor, but a little smoother and more mild than coffee can be. Just a bit of milk and some chocolate honey and it made for a perfect cup.
not my thing. probably for someone else, just not a fan. Did not feel the energy boost personally but didn't finish the cup.
I was so curious so I ordered a sample! It's a unique flavor for sure, probably not for everyone but if you like some savory and spice, give it a try! Please note, water boils at 199 degrees where I am, due to altitude.
I was pleasantly surprised by the complex, earthy type flavors from this tea. I get a chocolate type mouth feel and slight taste with a touch of cinnamon. Its a different style tea (I can see the coffee likeness) but very pleasant and smooth. No sweetener, cream, etc.
AMAZING!!! I’m so sad I can’t order more right now! This is my coffee replacement, especially when my tummy can’t handle the acid of coffee. Fantastic!
This was definitely a departure from our usual drinks, the jury is still out, but maybe it would be a good base for hot chocolate instead of plain water.
Picked this up because I needed a coffee substitute for a while - this did it from a flavor profile! I even prefer this flavor to coffee. Warm, toasty and just a tiny little bit bitter.
My new favorite evening treat. Very rich and satisfying. It's my guilt free hot chocolate replacement, but sooooo much better than any instant hot chocolate!
Not quite the nutty, chocolatey, coffee flavor I was expecting. Much better with some sugar and milk.
It tastes kinda sorta like coffee, and it has some of the same qualities of the coffee flavor that I like, but it's weird. I must not like chicory. I'm not sure if I would have another cup of this, I would rather just drink decaf coffee.
This is a RICH tea. I preferred the arabica mocha to this one. If your searching for a coffee alternative this is pretty close
Cinnamon flavor can be overwhelming. A bit on the bitter side, but I like that. A bit of cream helps.
This has replaced my morning coffee and helped reduce my anxiety. I love the earthy flavor. My husband is not a fan and says it has a bit of anise-y flavor he doesn't enjoy.
Not for me but it was nice and smooth. The taste was good but I enjoy a kick or a certain undertone.
The perfect amount of cinnamon to wake me up in the mornings. It's also a nice blend of chicory and dandelion, neither overwhelms the other.
Wowie this tea is great. The tea is a nice tea to have if you don't have coffee but I wouldn't call it a direct replacement to coffee
Love, love, love this! It has a warm, nutty body with a touch of cinnamon that is not overpowering. Other subtle flavors are laced throughout giving it even more depth. Perfect decaf treat for evenings.
I really like this tea. The chicory gives it a coffee flavor. Nutty flavor. Delicious with cream and sugar.
This is kinda like decaf reindeer fuel, which is one of my seasonal favorites. It's a rich cuppa that isn't really tea or coffee, but somewhere between. Blends super well with oat milk and the nuttiness accents it far better than soy or cow. Almond milk is a good second choice.
Chicoriccino is a delightfully spicy (warm cinnamon) coacoa-y treat with a toasty note.
Makes a great latte.
I was surprised by how much I loved this blend. It has such a warm toasty spiced flavor that really is a great drink. It needs sugar though, as every time I had it without sugar it felt way too bitter.
Calling two stars bad isn't really accurate for this tea. It's a very strong chicory taste, and I don't mind that, I suppose, when I'm expecting coffee. I thought this would be milder, but it wasn't, so it wasn't as enjoyable as I wanted it to be.
Didn't really like it all that much. It's not the worst tea I've ever drank but it's just not something I enjoy.
Excellent cup for cool mornings. It's toasty and nutty and earthy topped off with the warmth of a bit of cinnamon.
I purchased this sample because of other reviews that were positive. This is an unusual tea but very enjoyable. I highly recommend it if you like a little varieTEA!
The tea is as weird as the name. Even so, I would have it again simply because it is weird (in my opinion).
I was intrigued by the claim that this herbal tea mimics coffee and wanted to try it. It’s very cinnamon-forward. I enjoy it a lot while it’s hot, and a splash of cream reduces the bitterness. I find that the flavor grows more unpleasantly acidic as it cools, just like coffee.
I wasn't sure what to expect with this one, but I've enjoyed chicory in coffee in the past. The cinnamon flavor is prevalent, with a hint of chocolate. Definitely a warming tea for colder weather.
This was a very nutty type of fun drink to have from time to time. I enjoy this with roasted nuts in the evenings by the fireplace :)
Extremely similar to regular black coffee, but the chicory is what makes it superior to decaf coffee (at least the WB Mason swill you'd find in a workplace usually).
I really do like this tea, good caffeine level, good flavor, but I found the description misleading. While I enjoy the taste, it's more cinnamon/nut-y than any sort of coffee substitute. I love coffee, and I love this tea, they just don't intersect as much as advertised.
I enjoyed this tea very much, and the energy it gave me. I loved that this tea had strong hints of chocolate. It was different yet very tasty!
I tried a sample of this for fun because I have liked “New Orleans style” coffee in the past, not expecting to enjoy it as much as I did! I tend to drink good hot coffee black, so I tried this black first, but found it had an herbal-yet-syrupy-sweet quality that I didn’t particularly like. I added a splash of milk and found it much better, and could see why they might call it a “coffee alternative.” If you’re expecting it to taste exactly like coffee you’re probably out of luck - I would call it somewhat coffee-like. I don’t get too much of an energy buzz from it at all, which I like because I can enjoy a cup after dinner when I can’t drink caffeine!
I really liked this blend, it is cinnamony, warm, and chocolatey. It is a strong tea but not too strong, i only steep for a couple of minutes. Great for the morning!
Super tasty! Don't purchase it expecting coffee though. It's delicious as its own, albeit coffee-adjacent drink.
The flavor of this tea really reminds me of a snickerdoodle cookie. However, if you steep it for too long (more than 5 minutes) then the cinnamon flavor becomes overpowering.
I really enjoyed this tea! It has the perfect balance of cinnamon with a hint of a sweet and nutty flavor. Definitely a great evening treat!
I am wanting to like chicoriccino so I haven’t given up o. It. It is pleasant enough but too cinnamon forward for me. And I like spice flavors in tea so that says a lot for me to be struggling with how to brew this so I will drink it more often…too greasy and too cinnamon. However I purchased a decent size bag of it so there’s time to keep playing with the brewing parameters and change my review later.
A stout, coffee like without the bitter taste treat. I really enjoy chicory teas and this did not disappoint, the cocoa nibs are more forward than I thought they'd be and that's to the benefit of this blend. It's very good.
This is my favorite new find. A pinch of this in other teas when I want caffeine. By itself, in the evenings when I am watching the caffeine amounts. The spices are perfect.
I wasn't sure about todays communiTEA as I have never had chicory. I made a latte using oat milk and added a little sugar. It was delicious!! It's nutty, toasty and the cinnamon is just the right touch.
I have been trying to cut back on coffee and this has been the closest fake. Really good flavor gives me coffee vibes without the jitters. I enjoy the cinnamon flavor it throws.
