So good with oat milk for mid day or afternoon pick me up, without caffeine that will keep you up at night.

I was not sure what to expect, but I had a half off sample price, so I gave it a shot. It was quite bitter with a rested undertone. The bitterness just really got to me and don’t allow me to enjoy this.

I bought this for my daughter in law who loves the taste of coffee, needs a wake up in the morning but can't afford the jitters in her work. It has become one of her favorites.

I really enjoyed this blend. a great transition to herbal blends for previous coffee drinkers. very cozy cup of tea.

Love this tea! Bought it for a coffee substitute but really enjoy it for an afternoon caffeine boost with a few drops of stevia. Can’t wait until it is available in more size options.

This is one of my new favorites! I was hesitant at first because i have tried chicory in the past and didnt like it — but this tea blend brings the bold and interesting unique flavor that will keep me coming back! Has a chocolatey taste with a slight cinnamon hint and is a bold thick tea!

A nice coffee alternative that only has a trace amount of caffeine. The dandelion is balanced with the cinnamon and cocoa nibs, balancing out the harshness toward a softer coffee palette.

This Tea is Great! It is a very nice substitute for coffee. My Hubby loves it so I come back and bought more of it, we want to keep this one on hand always.

I love this one! The versatility of having it either tea- or coffee-like (steep/brew less/more for shorter/longer period to taste) is fantastic. The flavor profile is comforting and I can't wait to take this on my next camping trip.

Has a delicious cinnamon-y, nutty-sweet aroma that doesn't really smell like coffee but is in that same sort of scent profile. If anything, it reminds me more of the scent of hot, freshly popped caramel popcorn. Also like coffee, it also tastes more bitter than it smells, though you can still taste that cinnamon-y sweetness at the back.

Not nearly as good as Teeccino. It's flat because it doesn't have roasted figs and dates I think. Might try adding some.

I LOVE this one. The chicory, chocolate, and cinnamon combine into the best tasting herbal tea I've had from Adagio. The 'trace caffeine' comes from the cocoa nibs and I don't notice any caffeine kick, which is good because it's becoming one of my favorite late evening drinks. When brewed at 3 minutes, there's a very enjoyable bitterness to the aftertaste which reminds me of drinking black coffee. It's easy to avoid the bitterness by brewing for 1 minutes (which is still flavorful) or adding milk and sugar which my wife does. Some negative reviews say they brewed it for 5 or more minutes and it's way too bitter, but my packaging says to only brew from 1 to 3 minutes. I'm not sure why they would brew it for so long; maybe the instructions were different on older packages or they didn't look at them.

I didn't love this one. Maybe I made it poorly, but it was very bitter.

Really yummy! I love it with cream and a tablespoon of sugar but I'm a dessert fiend. This one is definitely in my rotation for when I want some tea in the evening.

I purchased this tea because I need to reduce my coffee/caffeine consumption. It does taste more like coffee than other teas I've tried, but the lower acidity is a bit hard to get used to, so I still prefer rooibos as a coffee alternative. I also wish there was a variety of this tea without chocolate to make it completely caffeine free. I think I would enjoy this more with a touch of hazelnut, I'll likely mix my remaining tea with rooibos or honeybush.

★★★★★

Love this one on those rainy days. I drink this instead of hot cocoa. The blends of flavors is just right.

★★★★★

A nice coffee alternative. I like the combination of chicory root and dandelion root. I think carob pods would also incorporate well into this blend.

★★★★☆

As a tea has a very strong cinnamon flavor and enough bitter to fill a craving for black tea. As a coffee substitute...well, with a long steep and a bit of creamer it can pass as weak diner coffee... with cinnamon.

★★★★★

this is a great fall drink when the wind blows, and the day is rainy and raw.
i wished it had more of a coffee taste but it's really good
update: bought this again and also discovered it is really good iced!

★★★★★

A wonderfully, deep blend. Gives off a pleasantly cinnamon scent, but the deep taste of chicory is the star of this one.

Love this strong hit of cinnamon for pure cozy! It's tasty with almond milk added as well. Very robust flavor.

★★★★★

Wait,… what? Honestly did not know tea could taste like this. If you are a coffee lover, this is for you. I had it with a touch of sweet cream coffee creamer and WHOA! This is my favorite hands down!

Was a bit strong. Was not for my taste buds. Mine came out super bitter and i have no idea why. Tried to brew it many ways and all was just a no for me

It’s fine but simply not for me! I love cinnamons but perhaps the chicory is just not for me. I do see the similarity with coffee, but not what I would typically go for.

This is one of my new favorites. A dash of smoked sea salt and it’s hard to beat.

Not a fan of this blend. Very pungent. I just couldn't get into the flavor. Not at all what I expected.

★★☆☆☆

I love cinnamon, but I cannot do the fiery cinnamon, but if you love the fiery cinnamon, you would love this!

Very robust and comforting, slightly bitter, but just enough to let you know it's serious. Cinnamon-y, but not overwhelming. Delicious with milk.

Excellent in all regards. The strong smell of chocolate and cinnamon are front and center (which I appreciate), and it tastes like a spiced chocolate coffee. Definitely recommend as a dessert coffee.

This flavor is definately not for the faint at heart but it is a good coffee replacement.

Even after a 10 minute steep, the tea didn't have a strong enough flavor. I had to doctor it up before I enjoyed drinking it. The cinnamon flavor is dominant and the over all flavor is pleasant, but not strong enough.

★★★★★

This tea is a favorite. I always start with a sample and then purchase the teabags only for those that I love. It is delicious and creamy, enjoyable any time of the year. I would recommend for those that prefer coffee and are trying to get into tea.

A nice tea, though a bit strong on the cinnamon side for my taste. When you open the bag, a strong bake-shop smell is present, and that does come through in the finished brew itself. If you don't love very strong cinnamon flavor in your tea, I would suggest doing a brief discard steep before making your own cup.

After discovering the decaf chocolate truffle, I had to find even more chocolate teas! Chicoriccino is both chocolaty but different enough to be appreciated on its own. The chicory isn't overpowering at all.

★★★★★

Flavor is warm, thick, and comforting. I like the coffee-like richness and consider it to be coziness in a cup.

Delightfully dark and reminiscent of coffee. A good pair with some cocoa mix. A good blend if you want something dark and rich. Very nutty!

★★★★★

This is my absolute favorite afternoon tea delight! It gives a little pick me up without the caffeine or acidity. I love the warm scent AND taste of cinnamon. It's a tea I really look forward to sipping with some oatmilk added. If I want a real treat, I'll add honey, but personally I don't think it's needed.

I love this is a coffee alternative. It has a lot of fun robust taste and is perfect for the night time. I love drinking it without adding anything else to it, although you could put some milk in this if needed. Just read the steeping instructions and be careful not to oversteep like I did the first time.

I stopped into a coffee shop hoping for a decaf peppermint mocha. They were out of decaf but the barista recommended using chicoriccino instead and I was pleasantly surprised that the flavor was so close to that of a decaf coffee. I ordered this as soon as I got home. My daughter is now a fan too! I highly recommend this tea.

I LOOOVE chicory, so this is an instant favorite. I could stand for the flavor to be stronger, but it's still delightful.

This has become one of my favorite evening teas, as it has the bitterness I enjoy in black tea without any of the caffeine. Like a black tea, I enjoy it with a splash of milk.

UPDATE: This goes really well with vanilla black decaf.
