This is a delicious and pure chamomile tea. It has a strong flavor and a subtle sent and makes for a perfect pre-bedtime cup of tea.
A beloved herb from Egypt's Nile River Valley. The aroma of freshly cut apples, calming floral-sweet flavor.

This is a delicious and pure chamomile tea. It has a strong flavor and a subtle sent and makes for a perfect pre-bedtime cup of tea.
I got the very large bag of chamomile to be able to add to some other teas where I would like a bit more calming feeling. I like to add this to the 40 Winks bedtime tea. Really nice quality and hard to find pure dried chamomile online.
Its my to go tea whenever im stressed or just want to relax. Super good quality ingredients, ive had many cups of chamomile tea, but this one is very tasty
Adagio has my favorite chamomile. Relaxing and smooth on the palate. My go to before bed, it does a great job of making me sleepy!
Nice flavor! Randomly got in a trial pack awhile ago and decided to have more of it. Definitely something nice for decaf.
The chamomile is so amazing, it eases you if you are stressed out, that's the way I feel. I believe I had more longer naps in the afternoon after drinking it.
Loved it, great flavor taste and good value quality
I have tried so many different types of chamomile over the years, and Adagio's is the best one I've ever had. It tastes wonderful and makes relaxing for bed much easier.
The best tea for when feeling sick! Got rid of a stomach ache almost instantly.
Delightful earthy taste. Steep it longer for stronger taste
Feb ‘23 update: While still soothing, my most recent order has a stronger flavor than in the past. Possibly a little strong for my palate.
Original review: This tea is very calming. It is subtle, yet the flavor is quite distinct.
A staple for anyone's tea collection! This is hands down my favorite part of my bedtime routine. I love the flavor of chamomile so generally like to steep a minimum of 5 minutes and get at least two brews out of each serving of flowers.
This is a very good plain chamomile. It has no caffeine and a light flavor. Excellent for evenings.
I love this tea in the evening. A great way to wind down the day.
I love this tea. I panic when I’m getting low lol. If you are looking for a nice calming tea this is it.
Delightful and floral, this tea never fails to calm me down and make me sleepy! I highly recommend for those with sleep or anxiety problems. I add it to own personal blend of anti-anxiety tea.
This was a very relaxing tea. I am able to make two cups from each 1 tsp. It has a very nice floral aroma
Love this tea! It’s smooth and tasty! Bought a big bag and it’s perfect t before bed on a stressful day!
Very good Chamomile tea. One of the best I have had. Nice to relax me after a stressful day. Also like to add with Spearmint some times.
It tastes good but nothing special and I get it at other places a lot cheaper.
This tea had a slightly sweet flavor. I tried to approach with an open mind but this is still not a tea I will be choosing - it is just not for me.
Though this tea wasn't horrible I much prefer chamomile in blends.
Not real fond of this tea. It has a “funny” taste and makes me feel muzzy.
This is clearly a high quality chamomile tea. :pts of whole buds present in my CommuniTEA packet.
This is an excellent quality chamomile, lots of whole flowers that brew into the distinctive chamomile flavor, but this one is the best chamomile I’ve ever had. If you like chamomile this version is for you.
a nice soothing chamomile, perfect whenever you're feeling a little under the weather
This is a good cup of green tea and chamomile light tea.
CommuniTEA portion: 9 minutes at 212. Beautiful tea which provides much relaxation! I would write more but zzzzz...
When I opened my CommuniTea packet, I was met with the strong, sweet smell of chamomile. The packet was full of chamomile flowers. I steeped the tea for about 5 minutes. The tea tasted so fresh and sweet! It makes me feel so relaxed and I love to drink it before bed.
Straight chamomile tea; I cannot drink it straight up; Just enjoy in blends!
Or
Bright Yellow flowers
Should make cheerful wake up tea
Not go to bed tea :)
A baddie gotta love themselves some chamomile tea and it is, perhaps, the best chamomile tea a chamomile loving baddie has ever tried. I need some for my stash. It's absolutely delightful, can only imagine how it'd taste with some honey. If you give under 3 stars you're going straight to hell and there will be no salvation for you.
This is a really tasty chamomile tea, but it is still chamomile. I realize that what I thought was the taste of valerian in 40 Winks is actually the chamomile! I steeped at 212 degrees for 7 minutes and added raw honey.
A nice simple blend. I do enjoy drinking flowers.
This tea has a very nice light sweetness. I'm not big on chamomile by itself but I have enjoyed it in other blends. This tea is very nice and wouldn't be bad to have on its own occasionally. (212F for 5min)
When I opened my CommuniTEA packet, I was greeted by big, fluffy chamomile flowers and the scent of honey and flowers. This tea is delicious on its own and in blends. It is good both hot and iced.
A light floral taste with the faintest, almost apple-like flavour note that floats to the top of each sip. For those who enjoy chamomile, it's definitely soothing.
Today's CommuniTEA is Chamomile (1-1-23). Upon opening my packet, I had plenty of chamomile. I added some milk thistle and tupelo honey. It was very mellow and a very pleasant way to start the day. I've had this tea before and I've even used it in some blends. I really love it and would highly recommend it!
Chamomile isn’t a favorite of mine BUT I am sitting here sipping it and enjoying it! It is different than the chamomiles I’ve had in the past. My first sip was…..”I’m not sure of this…..but it has grown on me very quickly. There is definitely a taste of apple in the tea. Very calming but also refreshing!
Not your grandma's chamomile tea. What a surprise! I have never liked the stuff, as it was always musty and tasted of straw. The Adagio tea couldn't be more different. No powdered sticks--there were tons of flowers and leaves in my sample. They brewed up at 195F for 10 mins into a golden cup with sweet, floral aromas and tastes. A drop of honey pulled even more sweetness from the cup. I loved the experience--and discovering what actual chamomile tea tastes like.
Chamomile loose tea buds is a world away from tea bags I used to buy.The freshness is appealing. This tea is bursting with flavor while the effects are calming .
I'll preface that I'm not a fan of chamomile, but I gave it a go to see if a few years have changed my mind.
tl;dr: it hasn't.
The tea itself is a bunch of pleasant smelling flowers. I tossed in a few rock sugar crystals, steeped it for 5 minutes at 192F (as hot as my coffeemaker will go), and gave it a go. It was...Okay. Not the best, not the worst, it was...MEH. Tolerable, but not in a rush to have it again. However, It was okay enough that I could handle it in a blend. I had a chamomile and lemongrass a few years ago that was quite nice. Anyway. If you like chamomile, you'll like this one. It was a bit of a pain cleaning it out of my steeping cup, so fair warning: it might require extra cleaning for certain steepers.
I kinda feel about chamomile tea the way I feel about American pilsner beer. I know there is talent needed to make them, they are good for what they are but they will never be an everyday beverage. I can usually spot when there are flaws but cannot yell if one is superior. Adagio's tea is just that...solid for the style, so I think this is good. May try using this in a blend someday but..
Everything you want a calming cuppa chamomile to be. Light and delicate, but still somehow a full, rounded flavour. No sweetener necessary to enjoy this beauty.
In the bag: As one might expect, it’s just the chamomile. Unlike in blends, however, my packet includes longer stems on many of the buds. Some breakdown occurred in transit, causing a good portion of the petals to become loose.
On the nose (pre-steep): Reminds me of a field in summer. Has almost a woodsy smell, though very light. Doesn’t remind me of any foods I can think of. Not intense.
On the nose (post-steep): Ever so slightly sweeter than before the steep. The vaguely woodsy smell has diminished. Perhaps the soak brought sugars out of the petals?
On the tongue (pre-sweetener): Besides the obvious floral tones, I taste an undercurrent of roasted corn. Still slightly sweet.
On the tongue (post-sweetener): Now that toasted corn undercurrent tastes more like buttered corn on the cob. The woodsy notes are gone.
Opinion: Chamomile has a unique flavor that can be pleasant when combined with contrasting flavors, but I don’t enjoy it on its own. I would drink this in a pinch with the sweetener, but I won’t crave it.
Preparation: 7 min @ 212 ℉, ½ tsp monk fruit sweetener
I normally drink my tea unsweetened and was not a big fan of Chamomile, but I have been under the weather and added a bit of honey to mine today and I am really enjoying it. It is a bit of calm and comfort in a cup.
Chamomile 4 stars
Recommended Steep 212°F for 5-10 minutes. I steeped at 212°F for 7.5 minutes in approximately 11 oz of water with 1.5 tsp of Adagio tea/rock sugar.
This is a very pretty tea, visually, with it’s yellow flowers. Oddly enough, it smelled very sweet, but only lightly floral. It reminded me most strongly of pineapple. At first I wasn’t sure I’d like plain chamomile tea, but as it cools, it becomes quite sweet and tasty, with, at least to me, subtle pineapple notes. The flavors even out to a moderate level, with a pleasant aftertaste. I think I prefer chamomile in blends, but I would not hesitate to drink the plain version if it were given to me. It is a relaxing cuppa. 4 stars from me.
I don't drink plain chamomile tea as I have mild allergy to it. A bit mixed in a blend is fine...but chamomile by itself I avoid. This review is on the tea itself, not on brewing or taste as i couldn't drink it. In my packet was a large portion of whole chamomile flowers and a dusting of pieces. Definitely a quality chamomile tea for those who imbibe or those who want to mix the herb in with another tea.
1/1/2023 - I have learned to just avoid chamomile entirely. My body just doesn't react well to it at all.
This is a really good chamomile tea that's soft and soothing to drink. It's perfect to sip at the end of the night to really relax and feel cozy.
UPDATED from 3/2/21: There is the floral aroma of the chamomile meeting my nose as the CommuniTEA packet opens. All the lovely full flowers with happy heads and bits pour into the infuser and steep into the loveliest bright yellow gold! The smell and flavor is distinctly chamomile. It is a full bodied flavor. Sadly, I am no longer a fan (overdid it when it was the only tea I drank for years - not a good idea) but I can appreciate its full flavor, especially in blends. I am so glad I still gave this packet a chance because I was pleasantly surprised by how good this Adagio version is, especially when cool. Adding ¼ teaspoon of sweetener (to 10 oz) really sweetens the cup. Good tea! (5 mins @ 212ºF + sweetener).
This is a nice relaxing tea. Would recommend for anyone who needs to chill out.
