I cannot stand chamomile on its own, but with the lemongrass and peppermint, it's definitely not as bad. I'd maybe call this one step above tolerable if you don't like chamomile. If you do like chamomile, you're going to love this tea, I'm betting.
Dance, taste buds! Cool, savory mint, uplifting floral chamomile, and tangy lemongrass. Zesty and aromatic.

It's fine -- I'm not a huge chamomile person and this is mostly chamomile to me -- not terribly minty (which I'd like because I love mint!), but the lemongrass is very nice and helps balance the blend.
The peppermint is very strong and you can taste a subtle hint of the lemon. Makes me feel like i just brushed my teeth ha
Basically the lemongrass and chamomile worked but the addition of mint did not work for me. I’m just not a mint lover. That’s just for me.
This tea is fine. Lots of chamomile flavor came through, minimal lemongrass. I'm generally not crazy about chamomile so that definitely caused my rating to be lower than it would have been if the other flavors were more dominant.
Would be a great bedtime tea. The chamomile is calming.
Love all three of these teas individually and it is a refreshing nighttime sip to help me unwind.
This is a great tasting tea. I like all three ingredients separately, and they are nice together. Nice and relaxing for the evening. The main flavor that comes through is the chamomile, so this definitely is for anyone who doesn’t like the taste of chamomile. Next would be the lemongrass. The mint is there but very mild in comparison. It’s hard to taste all 3 flavors at once, I’m usually getting either chamomile lemon, or chamomile mint. Occasionally a bit of lemon mint.
Very strong chamomile flavor in this one! The mint comes in a lot more subtly to follow it. I can't particularly isolate the lemongrass, but overall the tea has a pleasantly herbal flavor and the lemongrass is part of that.
I tried this as part of a CommuniTEA box, and I'm glad I did, though I don't think I'd buy it for myself. I tend to like chamomile and herby chamomile blends to calm down from stress or to sleep, and sharper peppermint herbal teas to wake up or get myself together when I'm feeling a little down and sick, so for me a tea that does both at once isn't quite the right fit. Still, it tastes good and I'm enjoying it this morning!
Adding, as I finish the cup while writing this review: the longer the tea sat in the water and the more I drank, the more pronounced chamomile flavor developed, masking even the peppermint. Definitely a mostly-chamomile tea!
Short version:
DO get this tea if you're looking for a nice chamomile tea with some fuller herbyness and a bit of peppermint zing.
DON'T get this tea if you're looking for a mostly-peppermint tea, if you don't really like chamomile, or if you want a strong lemongrass taste.
I was exited from the moment I saw lemongrass and chamomile, and I'm glad to see how well the peppermint went with it. Zesty but relaxing.
Chamomile dominated this tea for me, with a hint of lemongrass and just a touch of cooling mint. A delightful blend!
Drinking along with the CommuniTEA today: This is a yummy herbally, minty, lemony tea. My packet contents seem well balanced and in harmony among the three ingredients. Getting all three throughout the drinking experience. Although, for me this is more soothing than zingy like an exciting latin dance. LOL!
I was pleasantly surprised by this tea blend. I am not a huge fan of camomile at all but cha cha was very enjoyable.
Delicious, the perfect evening/nighttime tea. I love all the ingredients and together they are perfect.
What a delightful surprise! I’m not a fan of chamomile or lemongrass, but I’m firmly committed to trying at least a sip of all of the CommuniTEA offerings. Water at 195, steeped in one of my pretty china teacups for 3 1/2 minutes, I was greeted with a very refreshing blend of minty sweet goodness! The lemongrass and chamomile worked together in the background, letting the mint shine. This was a delightful dance, and one that I’m sure would taste fabulous iced. Bravo!
I'm not an herbal tea lover, so I gave this one to my fiance and he loves it! He said it was like a jazzed up version of the chamomile he normally drinks.
This has got an interesting flavor profile that is quite interesting. There are a few contrasting flavors that make it interesting but with strong lemon and chamomile flavors
5 mins @ 208 F. My dislike of chamomile isn't the problem with this tea, because you can't really smell or taste the chamomile. My problem is that when you blend the lemongrass and the peppermint, you don't taste either of them (although the mint lingers at the front of the mouth, sort of sticking to the gums, for well after, which isn't unpleasant), but the two blend together to taste (forgive me) a bit like the vomit Harry Potter jelly beans. I'm strongly considering just dumping the rest of the cup despite my hate for waste.
All ingredients were present in my communiTEA packet. Moderate chamomile and lemon aromas were noted.
When hot, moderate chamomile and lemon flavors were noted.
When warm, heavy chamomile and moderate lemon flavors were noted. Mint flavors in the background were mild.
My taste buds weren’t too inspired by this tea. My review reflects this. (7 mins @ 212ºF, 1/4 tsp sugar)
Very pretty tea in the package. The arrangement of flavors are many of my favorites. I found the lemon grass got lost in the mix, still delicious
Mint was the overpowering flavor. It tasted good for mint tea, but it didn’t have much other flavor. I would just purchase mint tea.
I like chamomile and I love mint, but I wasn’t sure how they would be together. Turns out, very nice. I mostly taste the chamomile with some lemon.
Light, fresh, relaxing; but not a boring cuppa; the flavors all dance! (Haiku review)
2-10-20-Cha Cha is very smooth and relaxing. I steeped for 10 min. This is going on my wishlist now! If you like chamomile you must give Cha Cha a try!
2-20-21- Still love this! We always have it in our cabinet. Chamomile, mint and lemongrass with added honey is so soothing. If you like this, check out Foxtrot.
Well, this is the most exciting chamomile tea I've ever had. Strong lemony taste overwhelmed my palate at first. Chamomile lent some depth without overwhelming the concoction. I didn't even notice the mint sneaking up until the aftertaste, when suddenly all that remained was a tingling, cool minty sensation that stayed strong long after the tea was gone. A rebrew is much more chamomile-prominent, pushing the other flavors into the background. Overall, a peppy and enjoyable tea. Perhaps not as calming as a mild, plain chamomile, but much more fun.
This is a good nighttime tea, brewed at 212 degrees for 7.5 minutes I got mostly chamomile flavor with the coolness of peppermint, and not too much lemongrass (not a problem for me, as I don't like lemongrass that much.) Had it with a bit of sugar, but honey would also probably be good with an herbal tea like this.
I was very excited for this day of CommuniTEA. My favorite nighttime teas are chamomile, mint, or a blend of both. Bigelow's Sweet Dreams is my favorite and this is close, but Cha Cha has more mint. I was hoping the lemongrass would come through more but it seemed to be just minty with chamomile in the background when steeped for 7 minutes with boiling water. I resteeped for 7 minutes too and the flavor seems to be all chamomile. This is a pleasant tea for bedtime. It won't replace my favorite since this has too much mint for my liking but I'm considering picking up some lemongrass to steep with my favorite tea bags to create a balance I do like.
I have liked adagio cha cha tea for a long time now. So today I’m glad to see it part of my communiTEA packet. Thought I’d experiment a bit and added a spoonful of creme de menthe and was pleasantly surprised to find out that it brought out the lemongrass aroma and flavor very nicely. I brew this tea at 200 for 6ish minutes.
I am not a fan of camomile. But I am a fan of lemon grass as well as peppermint.
Upon the first sip Camomile was front and center filling my mouth with is floral essence. But then the Mint quickly followed right behind.
This is a refreshing, clean, and soothing chamomile tea with personality. The energetic minty flavor pairs nicely with earthy chamomile and a hint of lemongrass in this blend. If you're a mint fan, this cooling tea relaxes and restores the soul. The minty flavor is notable throughout while the chamomile flowers provide more of a background flavor and the lemongrass nicely finishes each flavorful sip.
In the sniff test of the dry fluffy-looking tea, the aroma of mint was the strongest. The floral essence of chamomile was detected next followed by a whisper of lemongrass scent. The same aroma line up presented itself in the golden colored liquor after a 7 minute steep at 212 F. I used the full CommuniTEA packet that contained 3 tsp or 2 grams of tea in a 12 oz. mug.
Sipping while hot, the flavor of mint was strongest and as the tea cooled, the chamomile flavor became more distinct with the lemongrass flavor chiming in at last. I made a second steep for about a minute longer than the first and added mild honey to sweeten which softened all flavors for a divine cup of tea that sweetly murmured time out.
One of my fav mixes! It's a light tea but not light on flavor.
If you're looking for a more flavorful chillax tea than chamomile this is your jam right here. Not a ton more just a nice expansion of that lovely grassy feel of chamomile. This will be my primary chamomile after I run out of the original.
An all round wonderful tea. It is a mixture of all my favourite tea flavours and it is blended perfectly. I will definitely be ordering more!
Camomile by itself is somewhat insufferable to me -- a pale, anemic taste that would put one to sleep even without the mild sedative properties -- but the addition of the lemongrass and peppermint lift this one up just enough to be interesting. A nice calming tea for the end of the day, particularly with a little honey and/or lemon added (which adds a slightly more enlivening kick). I love blending Cha Cha with Lavender Lemon (or vice versa!) for a very complimentary flavor profile that still carries through the calming aura of the original.
Perfect for a evening drink. My husband says it reminds him of the mint tea he grew up with in Morocco
this is perfect for just before bed. My only complaint is I didn't get much of the lemongrass flavor.
I was worried about the turmeric flavor being too strong, but was pleasantly surprised .
Love this. Nice for a relaxing afternoon/evening cup of tea.
This was a delightful surprise - I got it as an extra in one of my orders and love the mix of chamomile and lemongrass, giving a light and zesty flavor. It's on my afternoon relaxation drink list.
I bought this as a gift for a friend of mine, and she seemed to really enjoy this tea!
It's a stronger tea than the chamomile but still delicious.
Get hints of flavors but not enough for my taste.
Such an amazing tea. Incredibly calming and a great way to bring your evening to a close.
I think I've gotten a sample of both Foxtrot and Cha Cha two or three times now, and I can never think of anything interesting to say about them. They're both chamomile-based, and maybe I like Foxtrot slightly more because the lemongrass in the Cha Cha makes it harder to measure with my teaspoon? The flavor is utterly forgettable though.
Such a great herbal blend. This is my third order of this tea.
Lovely peppermint finish. A wonderful and calming tea
Smooth, satisfying, & serene! Chamomile tea always helps calm my nerves, but the flavor of chamomile by myself isn't my favorite. I was so happy when I found this tea because it beautifully combines chamomile with peppermint and lemongrass in a way that compliments each flavor well and results in a really mellow yet delicious beverage! My fiance, who doesn't like many teas, loves this one so much he asked for it every night and now I have to order more!
Yummy my absolute favorite tea ever! This blend is the perfect nightcap and helps me calm my anxiety.
I don’t love chamomile tea but in this blend it was pretty good and the flavors go very well together.
Made a great gift for a mint-loving Secret Santa. No complaints.
