The Cha Cha tea is very good. I do like the lemongrass flavor.
Dance, taste buds! Cool, savory mint, uplifting floral chamomile, and tangy lemongrass. Zesty and aromatic.

The Cha Cha tea is very good. I do like the lemongrass flavor.
Chamomile is my go-to herbal tea of choice and I drink it all the time. This Cha Cha is a wonderful blend for those times when I want a more complex flavor than just chamomile. Neither the lemongrass or peppermint is too overpowering - the balance is just right!
So I’m not sure which I like more at the end of a long day-this or the 40 winks tea. This is nicely minty and a little bit zingy and great with a tiny splash of milk. I
I liked it but the other yes bags I got are a bit weak for my preference
Basic chamomile tea. Prefect if that’s what you’re searching for. Liked it way better than the Foxtrot which left tiny pieces in my strainer. Definitely would reorder this.
Nice flavor, was expecting a little more flavor, used extra tea to fix that.
I was a little rushed in the morning making this tea, so I pulled it a little earlier than I wanted - at 5 minutes instead of 10. My impression then was 'this isn't strong enough for me'. I left it while I had my daily team meeting at work, and then tried again - I like each of the individual ingredients in this tea, and they work well together. (10 mins @ 212 F, no additions)
Here's my initial and only fault: Get Foxtrot instead!
All players seemed to be present but I could only really taste chamomile with the slightest hint of lemongrass with no mint to be found.
A great tea for bedtime and stress relief. Very refreshing and light.
Full disclosure - I’m not a fan of chamomile, so I wasn’t eager to try today’s tea. Steeped it 8 minutes and added just a hint of sugar. It was okay. The only flavor I noted was.mild mint.
I opened the CommuniTEA packet and noted mostly the peppermint followed by the Chamomile. The lemongrass was barely perceptible to my nose. I steeped at 212 F for 7 min and added 1/2 tsp of Monkfruit. Chamomile was front and center with peppermint close behind. The lemongrass was in the background and barely noted. For someone who enjoys chamomile this would probably be an enjoyable cup. I generally do not like chamomile tea so I doubt I will purchase this.
Nice relaxing tea! Chamomile was the star performer. I fell asleep before finishing my mug.
Very pleasant herbal blend. Not super unique, but I love it.
I really enjoyed today's sample of Communitea. I have trouble with chamomile on its own, it tends to hurt my stomach, but this blend is balanced nicely and quite enjoyable.
I first tried the tea in Chicago and then again in my twelve days of Christmas teas with the same thought. I enjoy it iced over hot with seven minutes steeped, but I don't enjoy it enough to keep buying it. Its great if you like herbal teas on a daily basis and a must, but otherwise I suggest sampling first.
I think the tea is fine, but not anything special either. I waited until tonight to try it as I did not trust the intake of chamomile in the morning. If it makes me drowsy, I'll take it at night. The mint and lemongrass combo is a nice touch.
When dry all i could smell was the peppermint & chamomile, so I thought those would be the most overpowering, but it was actually a really nice, even blend. You could pick out each flavor, but as a whole they tasted even better.
My packet had everything present, with lovely little chamomile buds mingling with the mint and lemongrass. I brewed this up as recommended, and the taste was pretty much exactly as expected, however the lemongrass was a little weaker than I had expected. I found the mint to be a little jarring as a counterpoint to the relaxed vibe of the chamomile. My association of mint is one of alertness, and awakening and refreshing, so I did not love it paired with the chamomile which relaxes and soothes. I guess if I have a non caffeinated tea for bedtime purposes, I really don't want mint included in the mix.
When I opened my Feb 10th CommuniTea packet, I detected no chamomile or minty aromas? Hmmm but instead a heavenly orange, and beautiful red tea steeped before my eyes. I guess somehow the Cha Cha tangled with the wrong one, two, three... maybe the tarantella? My stars reflect getting wrong tea in my packet today, but I believe blood Orange was my mystery tea. Yum
I was very surprised by this tea! I really dislike lemongrass, mint and chamomile on their own, but they somehow work very well together in this mix. It's light and refreshing, with a kick of mint in the aftertaste to leave you refreshed without it overpowering. Very nice!
So glad I can update my review. It’s been some time since I first tried ChaCha and did not like it. I’m not sure what went wrong, steeped wrong, blend off balance, comparing it to something else, just plain different taste back then. I opened my communiTEA packet today to see a larger portion than normal. I steeped at 198 for 5 min and I used a coffee filter to prevent any bits in my cup from the camomile. This was a perfect balance of the three ingredients. Delicious cup for this very cold evening and a wonderful choice for a caffeine free bedtime drink.
If you like chamomile you'll love this tea. If not, you're better off picking another. I like lemongrass and mint together, but its too much chamomile for me.
This was a nice herbal tea. It had a strong mint flavor with a hint of lemon grass and chamomile. I added a little bit of sugar to this brew
Chamomile is front and center, but everything plays well together. It's a very clean and relaxing blend. This one is going on the wish list.
212 degrees for 5 minutes. Herbal tea comprised of chamomile, peppermint, and lemongrass. Strong, cooling peppermint at the forefront with light lemongrass following later and eventually mellowing into the chamomile. If you like mint teas, this could be your ticket to sweet dreams.
Love chamomile, the mint made it crisp and super invigorating
You have to like chamomile tea to truly enjoy this blend. The mint and lemongrass take it up a notch to a soothing hot tea to relax with on a cold night.
I am not a fan of camomile and felt it over powered all of the other flavors in this blend. There will be no dancing to this tea.
Before brewing this smelled exactly like a York peppermint patty to me which was weird since there is no chocolate. After steeping for about 10 minutes at 212°F I can pick out all 3 ingredients in the aroma, with the lemongrass and chamomile becoming more prominent and the mint fading to the background. I taste mainly the sweet floral of the chamomile with just a bit of tangy lemon. The mint is more of a cooling sensation in the finish than a predominant flavor. Something about the combination creates a naturally sweeter blend than any of the ingredients on their own. I enjoyed it by itself but it would also be really good with honey. I think I prefer chamomile on its own for every day but this was a nice change, definitely one I would buy more of.
When I opened my CommuniTea packet, I detected nothing but mint aromas. Pretty much the same while steeping. My first sip was strongly mint, and the second one was also, however, the lemongrass undertones came through. I detect no chamomile whatsoever. Still, this is a relaxing sip for the evening after a rough day, while snuggled up with a book, or snuggled down in a hot bath.
Cha Cha tea is a happy tea that oddly seems both soothing and refreshing. Usually I drink chamomile plain or with a little spearmint. The lemongrass adds a brightness. I steeped at 212F x 7 minutes, and sweetened with 1/2 tsp honey. Although all three flavors were present, but the peppermint was the weakest. A good afternoon or evening tea.
While every part of the blend was in my communiTEA packet, the lemongrass flavor was missing. The chamomile flavor was the most forward when hot, with the mint cooling on the tongue. (5 min at 212)
Not a huge fan of camomile, lemongrass, or peppermint. Had this tea today as a CommuniTea drink and forgot to finish it while at work. Would be a nice evening tea before bed, but not quite the kick starter in the morning I prefer!
I'm not really a fan of herbals, especially when they contain mint. I do love chamomile, but I am not sure why tea blenders always feel like they have to include mint in with a chamomile tea. This tea tastes very much like a Sleepytime tea, and the mint is very overpowering to me. It gives my tongue that cool feeling. If you like mint, you will probably love this tea, but it's not for me.
This sounded good. Not sure that I like the 3 flavors together. They didn’t seem to meld nicely. Brewed for 10 min 212°F
Peppermint, flora, and herbal scents awaken the senses as I open today's CommuniTea packet. Steeping this in boiling water for 7 minutes produced a golden yellow-green tisane. Almost indistinguishable from a cup of Golden Flower Oolong tea that I was finishing up, but maybe a bit darker.
The wafting scent of chamomile flower dominates the cup of steeped tisane. Both chamomile and lemongrass dance across the tongue as the flavor reveals itself to be complex and herbal. The finish is smooth and clean, with a mellow minty fresh finish that yields a cooling sensation on the tongue. Paradoxical due to the initial temperature of the tisane, the menthol tricks the brain into feeling a cooling sensation. This cooling feeling could make this tea a nice quick little pick-me-up, especially when iced, on a hot summer's day or on a desert camping trip. Speaking of which, I decided to try it when it cooled down. With a cooler initial temperature, the mint joins the dance of flavors earlier on, true to this Cha Cha's name.
Overall, this one is a great zero caffeine herbal blend for the afternoon or evening. However, if you don't like chamomile, lemongrass, or mint, this onei's probably not for you. If those herbal floral and minty flavors don't put you off, then it's worth a try. (7 mins @212ºF)
I got a little sachet of this tea in the CommuniTEA sampler box, it was SO good! It was what I wanted the Foxtrot blend to be with equal parts chamomile, lemon, and mint. A perfect relaxing cup to the end the day.
I love herbal teas, and all three of these ingredients. The blend combined them nicely and I really enjoyed the cup.
I'm not the biggest fan of chamomile and lemongrass, but the peppermint does help to pick those flavors up for me. As far as the effects are concerned, there's a definite feel of relaxation and almost sleepiness, and chamomile and peppermint are supposed to help calm anxiety.
Though I noted lots of lemongrass in my CommuniTEA packet, the smell of the dry tea was a competition between mint and chamomile which is a little disappointing to me as a lemongrass-lover.
I prepared this tea the same way I do my plain chamomile, a 7 minute steep at 200F, which gave me a gorgeous golden brew. To me, chamomile is a toasty warm flavor and mint is obviously cooling, so there was a fun contrast between them. The lemongrass came through as a light citrus that added some brightness. The floral chamomile and sharp peppermint were the dominant tastes and created a nice soothing cup of herbal tea.
I imagine this tea would be especially good on a sore throat with some honey added, and I know it tastes good cold because I got distracted and left the end of my cup! So it's a good all-purpose herbal, I just hope the larger sizes have more lemongrass flavor.
I was pleasantly surprised with this tea. I had always been under the misapprehension that I didn't like chamomile, but this tea changed my mind. The bolder flavors (lemongrass and mint) took over and I didn't find the chamomile overpowering at all.
I don't think these flavors work well together. If the tea was any combination of two of the ingredients, it would probably work much better. These flavors just clash with each other.
Cha Cha will make you dance. Comforting chamomile, mint, lemongrass combined. I prefer it as an iced tea but herbal and caffiene free perfect bed time tea. I sampled this Tea as part of the CommuniTEA February Box.
Even though I do prefer spearmint to peppermint, it balanced well with chamomile and lemongrass. An excellent evening tea!
I was surprised I liked this as I'm not huge on chamomile or lemongrass. It's a light tasting, refreshing tea. Not something I'd buy, but I enjoyed trying nonetheless!
I loved the mint smell as soon as I opened the sample. The mint and chamomile blended nicely. The lemongrass was a background flavor, which I liked. Very pleased with this tea.
I’m not the biggest fan of herbal teas but I enjoyed this one this afternoon as part of the February communiTEA. The smell was super strong but the taste was not as strong as the smell.
My packet seemed well balanced as I noted a good amount of all three components; however, the taste was very chamomile forward, with only a hint of minty coolness lingering in my mouth after each sip. I couldn't really taste the lemon grass at all. I don't love chamomile, so I would rather have had either of the other two flavors be the standout. (reviewed through CommuniTEA; 5 min @ 212F)
A solid and soothing herbal blend, particularly if you love chamomile. Loved the aroma. The chamomile came through the strongest for me from the first to last sip, but the mint and lemongrass were definitely there. (7 mins @212ºF)
