This has lemongrass, peppermint, and chamomile--and it's exactly how you'd think it'd be. A nice, soothing before-bed tea.

★★★★☆

This is a good tea it’s a smooth blend and great right before going to bed by.

Today's CommuniTea packet was Cha Cha, with lemon grass, chamomile and peppermint. I love lemon grass and peppermint, together or separately, but no matter how diligently you work to remove the chamomile, it can't be done. Those pesky little buds break into a million pieces and take over everything. Many people love chamomile, and if you're one of them, you'll probably like this. But don't think you can remove it. Can't be done. 😢 Steeped with as much chamomile removed as I could manage in 10 ounces of 200-degree water for two minutes.

Wonderful before bed bland. Calming camomile and lemongrass, soothing and cool peperimt. The flavors are mild but well balanced.

This is a chamomile tea. If you like chamomile you would like this one. This has a very nice flavor combination to drink before going to bed. There is a bit more flavor to make this tea interesting. (212F for 10min)

For me, this is a nice alternative to the Foxtrot blend, which I enjoy before bed. I'll probably buy more of this!

Cold brewed today's Communitea and took advantage of it being caffeine free to sip at night. This tea is a nice blend of chamomile and mint with neither flavor being prevalent but both flavors being present.

CommuniTEA 5/28/22: Not a huge fan of chamomile, but this tea is ok. Not something I would reach for, but it is drinkable. Heavy on the mint and chamomile... can't taste any lemongrass.

Simply put, this tea is a minty chamomile. Good, but it makes me want to nap rather than dance

Over the years I've had lots of fights with insomnia so I've become intimately familiar with chamomile teas, that said I don't really love chamomile. This is is really good in that the mint and the lemongrass tame the chamomile so it's not so strong.

I'd give the taste 4 stars-- it's pretty good even though I'm not a big fan of mint. The waxy furniture polish scent of lemongrass does put me off though. Each time I lift the cup to take a drink, the mug-trapped smell of the lemongrass hits my nose. Deducting a star for that!

This is an okay tea but I’m afraid it’s a bit too grassy for me. I think it’s maybe the lemongrass that’s what I’m tasting. At first sip it was a much stronger taste but as I let it sit awoke, that grassiness settled down and I tasted the mint in the background. It’s a nice smooth tea and if you like lemongrass, you will probably like it. I brewed at 212 for 7 minutes.

This tea is pleasant, but not exciting. The flavors blend together to the point where all I taste is mostly chamomile.

The taste of chamomile is the strongest note and a mellow lemongrass and peppermint taste that leaves your palate asking for more.

CommuniTEA Sample: I do enjoy herbal tisanes, especially ones that taste herb-y, and this one was no different. The sweetness of chamomile, a hint of lemon from the lemongrass, a touch of mint; and this was an enjoyable sip.

Love today's tea. I cold brewed the tea and it's so light and refreshing. It's very reminiscent of Lawful Neutral, just with peppermint instead of spearmint. Would be wonderful cold brewed on a hot summer's day.

Chamomile is one of the first 'teas' I learnt to drink, so I'm naturally biased in its favour. It just so happens I'm a tad congested today as well, so the peppermint is a very welcome addition! The flavours are subtle but present, and the cup is soothing and refreshing overall. A wonderful close to my day and my CommuniTEA week!

★★★☆☆

This is an enjoyable cup of tea for times when you want to gear down. Although I noted all three ingredients in my packet, when brewed at 212 for 10 minutes it was very chamomile forward, with the merest hint of lemongrass and barely a touch of peppermint. It could have been due to the balance of the ingredients in my packet, however, so I'll reserve judgment. If you love chamomile, you will love this tea.

I actually liked this more than I thought I was going to. The lemon flavor came out nice and strong, but I'm not a huge chamomile fan.

Not my cup of tea, I'm sad to say! I'm not a fan of peppermint, so that tends to cloud my opinion, but I'm also not a huge fan of lemongrass in large quantities in a blend, and the same goes for chamomile. This is like a super-blend of a bunch of things I dislike, lol. Overall the taste is ok but I would never buy this one on my own.

This is a winner for the no caffeine crowd! The earthiness from the chamomile is uplifted by the brightness of the lemongrass and mint. It zings and sings in your mouth! I drank it plain but I’m sure some honey wouldn’t steer you wrong. What a lovely treat you can drink anytime. Happy Sipping!

I was hesitant because I really dislike lemon grass. However, it did not come through. Camomile was the forward player here with a hint of mint. It’s drinkable but not one I would reach for.

I don’t mind herbals with camomile and this one didn’t disappoint. I found the peppermint perked it up and the lemongrass zinged it out making it an uplifting cup of relaxation. Sip, sip away! Cha, cha, cha!

This tea does not taste bad...in fact the first time I tried it I found it very peaceful and enjoyable. But...I discovered I'm allergic to chamomile. So I have to avoid teas/blends with it to avoid benadryl and a bad day. So...if you like chamomile this is a great tea! Not actually going to try it/drink it again myself. :)

2021: From the outset I wasn’t sure how these components would work together. In my opinion the answer is: not so well. All three flavors competed for attention. The result reminded me of a floral lemon Halls cough drop. This could be a welcome comfort for some but it was bracing and unpleasant for me.
2022: Since the communiTEA review last year I’ve learned I’m not only sensitive to chamomile but actually allergic to it. Ill effects range from a general unwell feeling to a “fuzzy” throat/tongue sensation with difficulty swallowing. Note that if you have an environmental ragweed allergy you may be more likely to develop a chamomile allergy.

A comforting blend of chamomile, peppermint, and lemongrass it is familiar and enjoyable. I slightly prefer a blend we had a while back (lawful nuetral) with spearmint instead of the peppermint, which was suprising as, by itself, I usually like peppermint better. This tea is great though for end of the day reflection and relaxation.

I have this one often at night. I like the convenience of tea bags or the disposable paper filter pouches you can get on this site because it is a little more trouble to get some of the tiny debris of this tea out of the holes of reusable filters.
