Chamomile dominates this cup, while I feel that the lemongrass and peppermint compete with each other.
Dance, taste buds! Cool, savory mint, uplifting floral chamomile, and tangy lemongrass. Zesty and aromatic.

Average tea that is dominated by chamomile and mint. Not unpleasant but not my favorite combination either.
Not a horrible tea, but not one I will stock up on. Strong chamomile flavor with slight peppermint at the end.
Today's CommuniTEA is Cha Cha (4-19-23). Upon opening my packet, I had a fantastic amount of all ingredients. I added some lemon peels and fruit tisanes honey as I am not feeling well today. This is the perfect tea! It's like someone just *knew* I'd be sick today and needed this tea. It is light, pleasant, and easy on the throat and stomach. I loved this tea and would highly recommend it!
I’ve been hit-or-miss with chamomile and lemongrass lately (mostly miss), but I still really enjoyed this today. Peppermint saves most herbals, in my experience. Steeped 10ish minutes at 200° Probably good iced too.
A nice little lightweight herbal tea; pleasant enough for when you are winding down. I am always on the fence with chamomile; however, my packet seemed to contain an equal amount of peppermint and chamomile, with peppermint pulling ahead on the cool down. Did not detect the flavor of lemongrass although I saw it in my packet.
First Steep: 7 mins @ 205.
First Sniff: The smell of chamomile permeates then the peppermint climbs up and blends beautifully with the chamomile, no notice of lemongrass pungency. It smells delicious.
First Sip, no sweetener: lemongrass and chamomile.
2t sugar: the chamomile takes over, and is light, buttery, mild. Next time I'll steep the full 10 mins on first steep. If I get a second steep, I'll try 15 mins @ 212.
Warm: Chamomile tastes like drinking honey to me, not bad, just a bit cloying (going to use only 1t sugar next time), peppermint comes through on the aftertaste leaving a cleaner feel to the mouth
I allowed this to cool to room temperature and I enjoyed it even more. The peppermint was more noticeable and they honey-tasting chamomile soothed the peppermint bite.
Second Steep: 15 mins @ 212
Peppermint and Lemongrass really come through with a hint of chamomile sweetening things up. Waiting for it to cool as I really enjoy it at room temp. Will try iced when I get more.
Overall this is a very drinkable herbal tea. I like my tea a bit stronger, and I should have brewed it longer for the first steeping. Try iced.
One-Two- Cha-Cha-Cha! Tea that is good for ya! Three-Four! Dance some more! Five-Six! Getcher Fix! And Seven! In Tea Heaven 🍵☁️😘🫖💃😋
just tested positive this morning (ugh) and this is a welcome blend to drink while coughing and disappointed about having to cancel things. I don't like chamomile by itself at all and I really like the lift from the lemongrass and peppermint.
A nice blend of flavors! I enjoyed this tea before bedtime last night.
Updated from 5/28/22:
I love all of these ingredients, so I had high hopes, and it did not disappoint. It's bright and lively, just like a good cha cha, but still smooth - a cha cha might be zesty, but it's almost never aggressive! Steeped 8 min @ 200º.
In the bag: A hearty, bulky blend. Plenty of big lemongrass chunks and chamomile flowers. Finely chopped peppermint leaves hide beneath the bigger ingredients. An even blend of the three.
On the nose (pre-steep): Mint is loud and proud. Accent of chamomile. Undertone of sugar. Slightly cloying nose feel.
On the nose (post-steep): An even balance of mint and chamomile. Reminds me of a sweet herb garden.
On the tongue (pre-sweetener): Mint on the front of my tongue and chamomile on the back. No astringency. Intense.
On the tongue (post-sweetener): Sweetener elevates the mint and cuts the rustic tones of the chamomile. It's slightly more of a dessert this way.
Opinion: An excellent tea and an exemplary decaffeinated dessert. I recommend the sweetener to boost that affect.
Preparation: First steep 5 min, second steep 10 min. Both @ 212 ℉. ½ teaspoon monk fruit sweetener.
Perfect tea for in the evening before bed. I really like the combination of flavors in this tea and the chamomile flowers are so pretty as well. It has a nice relaxing flavor and effect.
Update-my taste for chamomile has changed and this tea is now just ok for me.
UPDATED from 5/28/22: The smell of sweet lemon and peppermint hits my nose as the ingredients cha cha out of the CommuniTEA packet. MY GOODNESS there is a large quantity - enough for an entire pot of tea. After steeping this turns into a bright lemony yellow liquid. The aroma is chamomile (which is not a fav of mine), but the flavor is of lemongrass and peppermint dancing cheek to cheek. The lemon is enhanced with sweetener. As it cools the chamomile rudely butts in, stepping on everyone’s toes (these three do not seem to dance well together). Luckily it is all gone before long. Honestly, I drink the entire 3 cup pot of tea on my own. Nice tea, and if you like chamomile, you will love it. (10 mins @212ºF).
Update 4/19/23 I still think this blend has too much chamomile but I steeped at 212 degrees for 7 minutes this time. I added no sweetener.
Original review: This is a nice chamomile blend. I agree I with other reviewers that it is chamomile forward, so it doesn’t work as well for me. I prefer to taste more of the mint or lemongrass in my sipping. I brewed at 200 degrees for 7 minutes and would have steeped at a higher temperature if my kettle cooperated.
Nice minty relaxing herbal tea that’s perfect before bedtime. I drink it every evening, and I highly recommend for those who like chamomile with a little kick.
Very floral taste.
Great for anyone he enjoys chamomile teas.
This is my go to tea anytime I feel slightly under the weather or I need to clear my body from just too much caffeine. I have my son enjoying it as well.
This is a nice chamomile blend that goes well with strawberry banana split marshmallows.
To me the chamomile is the dominant flavor that overpowered the lemon grass and peppermint. Sweetener brings out the other flavors nicely.
Cha Cha is a good nighttime tea. The soothing chamomile really winds me down.
Fantastic tea—this is one of my holy grail teas that I always find myself reaching for. This is great for Bedtime, I drink it almost nightly!
One of my favorite teas to have before bed. It's light and refreshing and adds just a little bit of balance to a traditional chamomile.
One of the best chamomile based teas you will ever drink. It’s relaxing and soothing. But the mint really makes you take notice
This tea is really delicious and perfect for winding down in the evening
Chamomile, peppermint, and lemongrass definitely smell like a good combo right out of the packet! It tastes refreshing and relaxing at the same time… it’s a very bright, happy sort of flavor. Sunny, I would say. I got this tea to compare it to Foxtrot, which I loved – that one is a bit richer, while this one feels cleaner. I like them both equally, for different occasions.
One of my favorite adagio herbals. Perfect for a cup before bed. Smells lovely and the flavor is soothing.
Beautiful herbal tea before bed. Reminds me of sleepytime tea
One of the best herbals that adagio has in stock! Relaxes and send me off to sleep in no time flat.
Great tea. Lots of flavor. I like to combine it with hibiscus for very flavorful iced summer tea
I picked this up as a night-time, before bed relaxer. The mint flavor gives it a bit of a bite. I will stick to either a straight chamomile or 40 winks in the future.
Very good tea for relaxing and a great tea for bedtime
This one is good. Reminds me of a similar one I used to get from Teavana. Good for bedtime.
This was wonderful and I loved this herbal tea. It was very refreshing
Another great tea I've found. Sooo many teas to try, and adding different ones each time to explore.
so great, chamomile with lemongrass. tastes so good
the mix between chamomile and lemongrass is truly great.
This reminded me of Foxtrot, but with a bit more bitterness from the lemongrass. I was hoping the peppermint would come out a bit more once the tea finished brewing, but it hid behind the chamomile. I did really appreciate the way the lemongrass lingers in the background, surprising me with every sip after the other notes faded. Try not to oversteep this one as it does get a bit astringent past the 8-minute mark.
This is nice relaxing tea in the evening. I make this when I get home from work after a stressful day.
Purchased as a gift for someone who absolutely LOVED it.
I like this just a bit less than the foxtrot. Very minty, lemony with a nice blend of chamomile.
This is one of my go to favorites, I also add licorice!
Go-to tea when I’m not feeling the best. Helps my stomach and great before bed.
This is my first time trying the cha cha tea. I am hoping to like it.
Such a great blend. The lemongrass and mint are not overwhelming but really come together and make a fantastic cup of tea. One of my all time favorite teas to drink in the evening!
This was a good unwind tea. Not too sleepy, but still relaxing. The flavors were a good combination, and chamomile always makes for a good tea.
Lemony, smooth, and minty, this is a great pre bed tea, not something I would reach for often but refreshing every once in a while.
Sleepy chamomile flavors settle on the palette with a lemongrass halo and a minty tingle on the aftertaste. This tea is pleasantly mild and perfect for bedtime.
This is the perfect bedtime blend. The chamomile and peppermint and lemongrass blend nicely to lull you to sleep.
This was a nice tea to end the day. I was a bit concerned as I am not a huge Chamomile fan but it was well balanced with the lemongrass and peppermint. I had 1.5 g, so I did 8 oz for 9 minutes.
Chamomile is not for me, the mint was nice but did not overcome the chamomile.
Chamomile was most forward. However the lemon broke through and provided a nice kick!
