Blood Orange Customer Reviews

Deep vibrant color and sweet flavor. Hearty with a good balance of orange peel dryness and fruit juiciness.

★★★★★

Was kind of overpowering with the orange, and a little bitter but it balanced out well with just a touch of honey. Much better than any of the fruit teas I've tried from the stores...First taste of adagio teas, and I cant wait to try the rest!

★★★★☆

This has a very distinctive, citrus flavor. It's a great morning cup when you want to wake up without caffeine.

★★★★★

This one is very enjoyable if you're ok with LOTS of flavor! Very, very orange. It would be exceptionally nice with a little honey. It looks incredible in the tin... like you could eat it right out of there!

★★★★★

Very enjoyable if you like fruit teas/tisanes. I enjoy the spiciness of this variety.

★★★★★

I've never liked orange herbal teas, but Adagio has now officially converted me. Delicious!

★★★★☆

I like this tea quite a bit. Nice and fruity. Similar to the fruit medley. Doesn't need to be sweetened.

★★★★★

We love love love this tea. The sample was used up in a matter of days, so we ordered several tins to split between home and our offices. A fantastic treat, tastes just like candy, but without the dentist's nightmare of all the added sugar!

★★★★★

This has such a great flavor and mixes so well with my flavored black teas and the Earl Grey.

★★★★☆

Definitely not what I had expected, but in its own right it was very enjoyable. The hibiscus somehow has a great way of balancing out the citrus. For those who do not like utilizing processed sugar, this tea is just sweet enough by itself. =)

★★★★☆

Rich and aromatic. Easily one of my first real favorites. Could be a little more mellow, makes for an excellent iced tisane.

★★★★★

What a wonderful herbal blend! Tastes great with my homemade lavender & lemon scones.

★★★☆☆

Okay. Tasted very much like orange rinds. A touch bitter even when brewed correctly.

★★★★★

Incredibly aromatic + visually pleasing.
But the taste is very sour.
I cold brewed it with plain carbonated water and that turned out great.

★★★★☆

I really enjoyed this one. It wasn't sour at all like some of the other fruit herbals. It's also great for mixing with other teas.

★★★☆☆

It wasn't bad, but it wasn't good. It tasted like every other fruit tea I've had.

★★★★☆

This tea has a wonderful, robust flavor. I love to make it by the potful because one cup is never enough.

★★★★★

Strong, delightful orange flavor; it's tart, but in a delicious way, and with a bit of sugar it's amazingly refreshing.

★★★★☆

What a great herbal tea. I was really surprised on the quality of the tea. It tastes great but strong orange flavor. I was really surprised on how fast I got my order. Placed my order on Thursday morning and at 3pm Friday it was delivered

★★★★★

Bursting with flavor, like all of Adagio's fruit teas. It's great iced.

★★★★☆

Delicious! Unfortunately, it tends to curdle the milk as I put it in, meaning I have to make sure not to drink down to teh dregs or I'll get a mouthful of sludge.

★★★★★

Really good. I think this is my favorite herbal tea so far. It's a sweet orange flavor, not tangy.

★★★★☆

Wasnt quiet as I had expected but it was still good. I was expecting a more juice-like taste as compared to the other herbals I've tried but this had a very potent orange peel taste.

★★★★★

I love this! It's so refreshing and uplifting! Great hot or iced. I'll definitely buy a larger size of this tea.

★★★☆☆

Although I like blood orange tea, it is a little sour. It's perfect when I feel like something different, but it's not a tea that I can have every day.

★★★★★

This is one of my favorite herbal teas! The orange flavor is packed into each cup. There is no lack of flavor with this tea.

★★★☆☆

I expected this tea to be sweet-tart like blood oranges which I like eating. However, the flavor of the fruit is lost in this tea. I haven't opened my tin of it in months.

★★★☆☆

This is a bit too astringent. It leaves that feeling in the back of your throat like you just had a sweet tart or something. Not my favorite.

★★★★☆

Nice sweet tart combo on the flavours. Great for an afternoon treat. I recommend not over steeping it as it did seem to become very acidic if left much longer after the recommended time.

★★★★★

This is wonderful tea. I want to order more but it is sold out! A testament to its popularity, I suppose.

★★★★★

Very stong flavor to this one. Add a sugar cube and it is really nice. You get a nice flavor from this one, not a whimpy fruit. A very nice mix with a good scone or short bread cookies!

★★★☆☆

It is a beautiful ruby red grapefruit color and the aroma is enticing, but the flavor is reminscent of pixy stiks and watermelon jolly ranchers - sugary with a pleasing but artificial-tasting flavor.

★★★★★

It is VERY sweet and I enjoy it very much. It comes to a dark red color which surprised me the first time i made it.

★★★☆☆

This tea looks and smells great, but I wasn't a big fan of the taste. Then again, I am not much of a 'fruity' tea drinker.

★★★★☆

I sent this to my sister who likes the fruity teas. She was so pleased with the gift.

★★★★★

My absolute favorite tea of all time now!! I had to immediately order the 16oz size after I got the sample, because I knew I would use the sample too quickly. I brew it and ice it and it is wonderful, only needs a tiny bit of sweetener.

★★★★★

This has a very great smell. It is not to sweet. The hibiscus flowers added a nice flavor mix.

★★★★★

I really liked this one, especially with a little bit of citrus juice to spruce it up a bit. The aroma is amazing, but hard to imagine that it is all natural since it is such a powerful scent. I made it the first time only steeping it about 3 minutes and it tasted like weak flavored-water. When trying it again for the full 7 minute steep, it was great.

★★☆☆☆

More like warm, sour juice than tea! Has a gorgeous color and smell though. It's fine added to some green or black as a bit of flavoring, but it's just too much on it's own.

★★★★☆

Nice color when brewed, it's naturaly sweet and I think it would be a great tea to enjoy on a cool day...can't wait 'till we get one of those in Florida.

★★★★★

Spicy and tangy- very good for what ails you- I always use this when I feel a cold coming on.

★★★★☆

A very strong blood orange taste. My love enjoyed it added to his sweet tea.

★☆☆☆☆

I hated this tea, It tasted like warm apple water. I do not recomend wasting your money on this

★★★★★

I absolutely love the flavor. This is one of my favorites in the evening, or any other time that I need something without caffeine.

★★★★★

Absolutely loved this one. Great morning flavor and aroma. Works well either hot or cold.

★★★☆☆

This tea had a powdery taste, like it was made from powdered drink mix.

★★★★★

Fantastic! I had very low expectations for this, since I don't like most herbal teas. This has a great, tangy flavor & makes a wonderful iced tea. Great with a teaspoon of honey!

★★☆☆☆

I may have had some issues brewing this tea. It never came out right. Even with no added sugars, it was way too sweet! I did not like this at all. It may be better mixed with something more acidic. I will stick with the actual orange. Not for me.

★★★★★

Visually remarkable, with fruits and peels, it has a bright red color and a nice orange fragrance.

★★★★★

Another makes the 4 oz. list! Excellent iced. Really does taste like Blood Oranges.

★★★★☆

A very interesting herbal. It has a vibrant orange flavor which is sometimes too strong for my taste. I think this depends on my moods.
