Blood Orange Customer Reviews

Deep vibrant color and sweet flavor. Hearty with a good balance of orange peel dryness and fruit juiciness.

★★☆☆☆

It's not good, no one in my dept liked this. Strong artificial orange flavor (tastes like gatorade). Surprisingly I did not really like this iced either. I wanted to like this.

★★★★★

This reminds me a bit of a spiced cider. It's a little bit strong, but very good-- great for introducing someone to loose-leaf brewing!

★★★☆☆

This is one of the ones I was looking forward to trying the most. Unfortunately I was a little let down. It's a lot better iced, but I couldn't seem to brew it strong enough to tickle my taste buds.

★★★★☆

I bought this for a friend and now I'm thinking about buying some for myself. I'm not usually an herbal tea person, but this smells so good!

★★★☆☆

I was expecting a stronger orange flavor, to me it just tastes like cranberries. It's not unpleasant, just not what I had hoped.

★★★★★

I LOVE this tea!!! Unlike rasberry patch, it's not too tart or sour. It's PERFECT with a big spoonful of honey!

★★★★☆

I don't prefer herbal fruit teas myself, but got this for my daughter because it is caffeine free. She drank it all up, it must be good!

★★★★★

Nice and tangy; at times, sweet, depending on how it's been prepared.

★★★★☆

Similiar to the dewy cherry, I found it too sweet for a hot drink. Better iced or for children.

★★★★☆

Very strong, tart orange flavor. Might be better combined with a plain black tea.

★★☆☆☆

Smells of oranges, but doesn't really taste of oranges- the predominant flavor is the hibiscus.

★★★★☆

I found this tea a bit sour but tasty. I bet its great with sweetner.

★★★★★

Delicious by itself or to add to your favorite tea. It can be tart or sweet depending on how it is prepared. I like it with a touch of honey.

★★★★★

Another great find and the third tea I have made a regular on my self. The orange taste is the best I have ever found. For any herbal this tea is smooth and very enjoyable

★★★★☆

Good tea, but a little bland. Has the best smell out of any tea, but the taste is not all that strong.

★★★★☆

great tea, works wonderfully as an iced tea also.

★★★★☆

Not as sweet as I expected, but it was a great tea for the begining of spring! I loved the orange aroma it gave off while brewing! The colour is stunning, and the notes are well blended!

★★★★★

great flavor and aroma, such a delightful and citrusy flavor

★★★★★

This is a great herbal tea. My girlfriend isn't a huge tea fan, but really enjoys herbals and this is one of her favorites. Crisp and citrus taste at first and a semi sweet after taste. Great before bed.

★★★★★

It comes out a pretty purple color because of the hibiscus, but tastes much more orange-y. Very fruity, and definately very delicious.

★★★★★

I am so addicted to this tea in the mid-mornings and afternoon. Add 25% more on the leaves, then put it in the fridge. It tastes awesome iced!

★★★★☆

Unusual flavor and color! I was pleasantly surprised!

★★★★★

Definitely my favorite. Citrus taste is sweet, not sour.

★★★★★

My absolute favorite! Tart, orange-y and really enjoyable in the morning.

★★★★★

delicious, tangy and very fruity. also wonderful mixed with decaf orange black tea

★★★★★

This is a fantastic hebal! It's somewhat like drinking orange juice... but it's tea! Equally good hot and iced.

★★★★☆

This is great with a bit of sugar. It is a bit sour for my taste.

★★★★★

This is one of my two 'default' teas; on days I don't want to try something new, I go back to this one again and again. This means that some weeks I drink nothing BUT Blood Orange! This is the best of the best for herbal teas, and if you haven't tried it yet I can't recommend it enough. You owe it to yourself to try this at least once in your life.

★★★★★

Very tasty, very strong tea. Probably not for you if you like more subtle flavors, although it also tastes really good added to an unflavored black tea.

★★★★★

Wow! This has to be the best tea I've tried so far. It is a must try!

★★★★★

I just love blood orange, although it can be a tad tart. I find it perfect with just a pinch of chamomile.

★★★☆☆

Well not 'tea' per se, but a beautiful color and enjoyed by my guests who don't care for caffeine.

★★★★★

What a GREAT tea! I had high expectations of this tea & I was not disappointed at all. This is a tea that looks great in the cup & is just as fantastic when you take your 1st sip. I will be back for more!

★★★★☆

Yum. The perfect amount of citrus flavor, with a bright sunshine flavor. Great with chinese tofu.

★★★☆☆

One of my favorite herbal teas, very orange and very good!

★★★★★

This is my husband's favorite tea from Adagio. I have to agree that it's at the top of my list as well.

★★★★★

This is a slightly tart but OH SO good tea. I very much enjoyed the flavor.

★★★★★

This tea is fantastic! The armoa and the taste are fantastic!

★★★★★

Wonderful! A little sour but very flavorful and a gorgeous color.

★★★★★

This 'tea' inspired two co-workers and my dad to order from Adagio based on smell alone. The taste is out of this world! Can't be beat, especially for the price.

★★★★☆

Nice caffeine-free drink for before bed. It's a bit sour though, so you may need a little sugar.

★★★★★

Was kind of overpowering with the orange, and a little bitter but it balanced out well with just a touch of honey. Much better than any of the fruit teas I've tried from the stores...First taste of adagio teas, and I cant wait to try the rest!

★★★★☆

This has a very distinctive, citrus flavor. It's a great morning cup when you want to wake up without caffeine.

★★★★★

This one is very enjoyable if you're ok with LOTS of flavor! Very, very orange. It would be exceptionally nice with a little honey. It looks incredible in the tin... like you could eat it right out of there!

★★★★★

Very enjoyable if you like fruit teas/tisanes. I enjoy the spiciness of this variety.

★★★★★

I've never liked orange herbal teas, but Adagio has now officially converted me. Delicious!

★★★★☆

I like this tea quite a bit. Nice and fruity. Similar to the fruit medley. Doesn't need to be sweetened.

★★★★★

We love love love this tea. The sample was used up in a matter of days, so we ordered several tins to split between home and our offices. A fantastic treat, tastes just like candy, but without the dentist's nightmare of all the added sugar!

★★★★★

This has such a great flavor and mixes so well with my flavored black teas and the Earl Grey.

★★★★☆

Definitely not what I had expected, but in its own right it was very enjoyable. The hibiscus somehow has a great way of balancing out the citrus. For those who do not like utilizing processed sugar, this tea is just sweet enough by itself. =)
