This is my favorite by far. I love the bold orange flavor.
Deep vibrant color and sweet flavor. Hearty with a good balance of orange peel dryness and fruit juiciness.

This is my favorite by far. I love the bold orange flavor.
For an herbal tea this one is pretty good. Reminds me of a tea I got in Germany while in highschool. I may add some cinnamon to really make the tea I'm remembering and bring back all the nostalgia of the trip.
The flavor was good citrus berry like but not as bold as I hoped
I was pleasantly surprised with this tea. It has a great bold flavor, that is just the right amount of tangy and sweet. I find it perfect when I need a hydrating treat.
Delicious! Great orange flavor, not bitter, smells wonderful too!
great orange flavor, it was as if I peeled and orange and was consuming the orange rather than drinking tea.
After years of drinking this during family game nights, my brother and I now associate this tea with winter nights and board games. The balance of the notes is great-- half way between citrusy and fruity, and perfect for those times you want a little pick-me-up without the caffeine.
Piekny kolor, smak. Pobudza organizm niemal tak dobrze jak kawa. Skutecznie przeciwdziała zmęczeniu, orzeźwia i wprowadza w dobry nastrój
This was one of my favorites because it was no caffeine! Perfect for right before bed. I will be buying more of this!
Lovely tea for when you don't want caffeine! Well balanced and not overly sweet. Will also be trying iced!
The blood orange was enjoyable. Since I do not like to have caffeine every day, it was nice to have a tasty herbal tea.
Having mourned the loss of Teavana when they were bought out by Starbucks who did not continue their wonderful line of tea blends, I was thrilled to land on the Adagio site and found this near replica of Teavana's Tarooco Ruby Orange. It was always one of my favorites. I am no longer at a loss for this wonderful blend
One of my absolute favorites! Great citrus flavor. Will definitely be purchasing again
Although I like this tart tea, it needs honey to sweeten.
Good flavor and very refreshing.
I give it 5 stars.
Today’s tea was a good blend of oranges. CT 3-18-23
Orange never goes wrong; just a delightful and strong blend
This one is a favorite although it starts out tart. With a sweetener add, the orange flavor comes out of hiding and the tea becomes absolutely delicious. The tamed tart taste of the rose hips and hibiscus adds a pleasant kick to the orange taste boosting its citrusy flavor even more. I always add honey when making this tisane.
This tea is easy to brew and becomes a beautiful bright red. My CT packet had 4 g/ 2 ¾ tsp of all ingredients. I steeped 16 oz. at 212*F for 8 minutes to enjoy a full strength Blood Orange taste. A resteep was much paler in color and weaker in flavor resembling more of an infused water than a cup of tea even after brewing for 45 min. Chilled, this tea was very good. The tart flavors mellowed nicely with the cold and allowed the orange flavor to shine. This is one of my go to teas especially at night when dodging caffeine. The flavor is uplifting while not keeping me up all night.
Bright, tangy, and definitely tart is the best way I can describe this! You get a boom of flavours, and the hibiscus and rose hips hit your tongue before the orange. It's one I think would taste better if I had tried it cold-brewed and the tarter, almost sour, notes had some time to cool off - literally. A nice herbal, otherwise.
Orangey and pleasantly tart! I'm not a fan of hibiscus but it's balanced well here.
Smelled just like orange juice. Has a good balance of zesty and tart flavors. Tastes like it would be great plain, iced, or in mulled cider.
Sweet, tart and fruity, a lovely herbal tea hot or iced
I like this tea cold. I tried it previously and didn’t care for it hot. It will be a good summer tea.
Blood orange is usually hit or miss with me. I love the concept of it, but the flavor can be very harsh. This tea was perfect, though. Citrusy and tart, but not overly so.
I bet this is really good iced, but I tried it hot. It’s a refreshing and soothing blend, somehow the perfect balance between tart and sweet. Crisp and flavorful without being overpowering.
Tasty, tart, tangy. Beautiful red colour. Delicious with a bit of honey. Great hot or cold. Mmmmm.
I brewed for 8 minutes and got no hibiscus, whatsoever, which I was very happy about because hibiscus and I are not of bff status! That being said, the tea was one dimensional, with only the bright flavor of orange beaming in my cup. No fake kool aid flavor coming through. I think this tea would be great blended with other herbals.
I'll give this two stars only because it was really pretty when I brewed it, but the taste was off putting, All I could taste was hibiscus, not a fan. I'm so happy it seems others liked this one.
This is very flavorful and just a bit tart. The orange taste is strong with no artificial flavor.
2021: If you *really* like blood orange, I’m sure this is good quality. As for me, I will not be drinking it plain again. But I still like it blended with other things.
Update for 2022: this is better than I remembered - good full-bodied blood orange flavor. It’s still not something I would reach for most days, but it has grown on me a bit, so I added a star.
In the bag: A vibrant array of fruit colors. Several huge chunks of orange rind, a dozen or so ample rose hips, and scattered hibiscus flowers.
On the nose (pre-steep): As advertised, blood orange is loud and proud. I wish I had an orange to smell next to the tea - I think the hibiscus gives this scent a tangier, more savory vibe.
On the nose (post-steep): Blood orange is still at center stage but has a softer voice. Also, a hint of tartness.
On the tongue (pre-sweetener): Tasting has decomposed the flavor. I get orange at the front of my tongue and tart hibiscus at the back. No natural sweetness. Intense.
On the tongue (post-sweetener): No change in overall profile, though the sweetness pleasantly contrasts the tartness.
Opinion: A pleasant tea both bracing and complex. Not for quaffing - instead, I need to slow down and savor its nuances. Fans of tart citrus flavors will likely enjoy it.
Preparation: First steep 3 min, second steep 6 min. Both @ 195 ℉. ½ teaspoon monk fruit sweetener.
This tisane has such a delicious orange aroma. I steeped it for 5 minutes and it produced a beautiful magenta colored cup. The blood orange flavor is bold, with some extra tartness from the hibiscus. This would be great iced as well! This is a lovely caffeine free treat!
UPDATED from 6/4/22: This tea is as delicious as it is beautiful! The tartness is just right and balanced nicely with the citrus flavours. I agree with other reviewers who noted that the blood orange flavour is more prominent as the tea cools. I steeped for 8 minutes this time, and while I still don't think it requires sweetener, I put in half my normal scoop of monk fruit since I know this tea is quite tart, just to soften that tartness a skosh. I'll also say that the hibiscus is more prominent with the longer steep time (I did 6 min before). I love it so much I also have a pitcher in the fridge - it makes a delightful iced tea.
Update : This tea never disappoints. My rating remains.

Blood Orange
Recommended Steep: 5-10 minutes @212°F
I steeped this blend for about 8 minutes @ 212°F, in 11 oz of water with 1 tsp of rock/tea sugar.
I was predisposed to like this tea, since I haven’t really had a blood orange blend I didn’t like. This was no exception. Upon opening, the most heavenly citrus aroma became apparent. It was a pretty tea with all the ingredients putting in an appearance. The tea itself brewed into a lovely red color that made me think of the Christmas holidays. It is a tart tea, that I believe can be sipped either sweetened or non-sweetened, depending on the mood of the person sipping. This tea brought back wonderful memories of the Christkindlmarkt in Wiesbaden Germany. They had a very similar tea there and I liked it just as much. 5 starts from me.
I am typically not a fan of orange flavored items. However, this tea is delightful!
Very orangey indeed! We (daughter and I) have tried this one hot and we need to try it cold another time too. I may even mix it with the Kona Pineapple to see what that brings.
Tasty herbal.. blood orange full force.. loads of flavor...Nice herbal tea.
This is the best of Adagio’s orange offerings. And works much better when blended with other teas like vanilla. Although I was expecting more orange and hoping for more of that tartness.
I caught a cold and decided to finally try this one, I assume it's probably got a good amount of vitamin c? that was my theory anyway. It's not bad. Tart fruit teas aren't for me, but with some honey it rounds out really nicely. It's a bit citrus-tart, as well as a bit citrus-bitter from the rind, but also a bit fruity. It's definitely best with honey.
Sweet tart and citrusy. Delicious both hot and iced! One of my favorites.
a little challenging to get a good mix on this tea, as the orange floats to the top of the bag and the hibiscus sinks. Good strong tea.
I really enjoyed this one, orange flavor is prominent, I added a splash of cream and tad of honey. I steeped for 8 min
It’s a great tart fruity tea to enjoy late at night or on a cold day. You really can’t mess it up either which is a bonus
Delicious and has a perfect balance. I actually love mixing it with the pineapple. It's great hot or iced. I like to sip it in the afternoon.
Not the bright, bitter citrus flavor I was expecting. But an excellent cup of tea in cold weather none the less.
My favorite of Adagio's herbal tea blends. I buy it in big bags every few months and drink it often.
This was just as good as I thought it would be. And even better when iced. Definitely adding this one to my favorites.
This is one of my favorite teas. I like the taste and flavor. It has a nice zing to it and will always be on my shelf.
Absolutely love this high antioxidant tea. Kids all love it. Especially if the have a cough or sore throat. Add some honey to sweeten and it’s amazing. Definitely recommend steeping the full 10 minutes.
This one is my favorite. It is smooth not strong. I really enjoy it. I recomennded..I will definetly order it again. I Love it!!!
