This is a very tangy tea, I rather enjoyed it blended with Adagio's Caramel black tea.
Deep vibrant color and sweet flavor. Hearty with a good balance of orange peel dryness and fruit juiciness.

This is a very tangy tea, I rather enjoyed it blended with Adagio's Caramel black tea.
the taste was alright, smell was absolutely amazing.
This tea is so fruity and is surprisingly sweet. It smells fantastic unbrewed and is just as wonderful when brewed.
This was a unique flavor that we have not found elsewhere, so we got it to enjoy for the ending of summer/begining of fall.
not what i was expecting for blood orange tea, but still delicious.
This tea had an amazing flavor and I will definitely be having more of it in the future.
Really good and zesty! I blended this with the Oriental Spice and it tasted like a Christmas season punch. Made a great sweet tea both with the Oriental Spice and on its own. It is definitely on the sweet, almost syrupy, side, so I've been keeping the steep time short.
This is so much better than the other blood orange herbal tea I get. The flavor is less sharp and more like the actual fruit. It makes wonderful iced tea.
This tea is a favorite of my 7 and 8 year old girls. It is extremely flavorful. I will likely blend it with a green or white tea for myself to round out the fruitiness.
The orange smell out of the bag is very strong, but still good. When steeped, it starts out as a light orange flavor but gets more bitter further into the cup. I added some sugar to tone down the bitterness and got a yummy orange. Great for blending, but I did not much like it iced.
Acidic if you don`t add a lot of german rock sugar to round out that flavor. It`s good.. one of my top choices for blood orange tea for sure
This tea's okay. It's tart and tangy. It's worth a try. I think it's more suited for Fall, instead of the Summer as I'm drinking it now.
this was ok but not a good as some of the other flavored teas. I got this as a sample and it's one of the great things about adagio, that you can try new teas out with out spending too much $.
Great for blending, oddly sour on it's own. It's a great herbal tea every now and again. When blending, it's a fine difference between the flavors of a minute more or less. When you learn the amounts, temperatures and times you need it works wonders.
Delicious and tangy, this tea is one of my favourites. The orange come through clear and it's great with a bit of sugar. And by one of my favourites I mean my favourite. I continue to buy this every time I order and it's perfect. I can leave it forever to steep and it only gets better, I even use it to make my ginger herbal more tolerable.. and it makes it delicious!
Herbally, floral orange. not quite my thing, I think.
It's rich and juicy on its own, and a fun highlight with other teas. And it smells WONDERFUL!
Sometimes, I think I'm a tea dilettante because my first temptation when opening my tea cabinet is to go for the herbal tisanes. This delicious blend did not help me with that insecurity!
As the recurring problem with Adagio's herbals seems to be, this one has too much hibiscus and tastes unnatural, more of the added flavoring than real fruit.
This has become one of my favorite herbal teas. It is so good iced and is really citrusy.
Blood orange is a good tea even for Utah hot days I prefer it hot but I image it would be good cold as well.
I received a sample of this from a friend to try iced this summer and it was amazing! Gorgeous color and flavor, I just ordered myself a big bag!
One of my faves - can be a little tart depending on my mood...but never a bad choice for a good cup of warm citrus tea!
A free sample that I included with my friend's birthday present, I'm sure she'll enjoy this as much as she enjoys all the other teas on here, particularly because the other fruity teas I have from here tend to be perfectly balanced between the herbal tea and the fruitiness.
love Love LOVE this tea!!! One of my absolute favorites! Going off of a suggestion from a previous comment I mixed it with some of the Rooibos vanilla tea which reminds me of Creamsicles. Absolutely Amazing!
This is amazing! I made it into iced tea and it worked out great. No need to add any additional sweetner and a great refreshment on a hot day :)
Great hot and even better cold. This free sample makes for a refreshing herbal tea.
While the orange aroma is heavenly I found this tea to be too bland for my taste. The hibiscus adds a nice sweetness and a brilliant red hue to the liquor but the orange flavor itself was sorely lacking and didn't live up to my hopes.
This is a wonderful tea. I love citrus fruit, but I often find citrusy tea tastes too bitter and unnatural. However, this tea is perfect and so delicious. It's really a smooth flavor accented by the hibiscus. This is a wonderful tea both hot and cold.
Blood Orange was one of the first teas I ordered from Adagio, and I fell in love at the first cup. Hot, cold --- doesn't matter. The deep color and exquisite taste makke it an all-time favorite.
I wanted to love this tea--it smells delicious and has ingredients that I enjoy. However, it just wasn't for me. Its citrus-y tastes were too strong, and I couldn't cut it with milk (since the milk curdles from the citric acid). If you like strong herbal teas, this might be for you.
I adore this herbal tea. Slightly sweetened with some honey, and it tastes very good!
first impressions: subtle fruit flavor with a hint of energy a nice mid-day relaxing tea with a caffeine free pick me up :D
overall nicely enjoyed not as much as berry blast :D
I mix this Herbal tea with many of my green and white teas...with some white sugar crystals of course.
I love the tartness of the love the tartness of the Blood Orange and it can make for a very colorful tea!!
Great herbal blend. excellent balance of tartness and fruit flavor. Like to add a bit of honey with mine.
Not really one of my favorite teas, but it is wonderful mixed with other flavors, like Strawberry and Cherry. Or even with Orange and Cream. mmmmm
Our entire family loves this tea! It is great hot and cold. If you like blood oranges you need to give this tea a shot.
It disappointed at best. Not the hearty blood orange flavor one expects.
My husband and I had another orange tea that we really liked but was just too expensive, and we dislike the bitterness of most orange teas. I had high expectations for this, but as soon as I opened the bag, it smelled like those candy orange slices, and I got pretty excited. Really light and sweet. I brewed it for the full 10 minutes but think I might stop steeping a little earlier next time. I added just a little sugar and drank it hot, and I think I will like it even better iced.
I brewed a cup apiece of Berry Blast, Blood Orange, Dewy Cherry, Mango Melange, Sour Cherry, and Wild Strawberry, all at the same time, for comparison's sake. It was the first time I'd tasted a whole cup of Blood Orange on its own, and I was surprised at how little orange-specific flavor I got from it. After all, the scent, which has always wooed me in a big way, is delectably *orange.* I think it may be the case, though, that the hibiscus petals that are added to this blend for color actually overpower the fruit zest. Adding honey reduced the hibiscus-sourness but didn't pull out a lot of additional orange taste for me. As a result, this mix (surprisingly, because I expected it to be a favorite) fell relatively low my personal ranking. What I can praise it for, however, is it's fresh and light texture. I can see it being quite refreshing iced, though I could still wish for a more distinctive orange flavor overall.
ETA: I upped my rating for this tea by one step upon trying it very cold for the first time. While I did not taste blood-orange when the tea was hot, I could taste the orange very clearly once it was completely, completely cooled.
I LOVE this tea! Perfectly refreshing when chilled over ice on a summer day!
Very flavorful and tangy. Such a bold tea. Love it!
Absolutely fantastic! This is a very fragrant, sweet tea. I prefer to drink it iced, but it is delicious hot, as well. I highly recommend it for anyone who loves citrus teas!
Fantastic tea. Really different from what I'm used to (black tea). This herbal blend is a great cooldown from a day's work. It has a real calming effect on me. It always seems to go down more like syrup than as water. It's rich, creamy in texture, and sweet in flavor with no added sugar. I boil water and let it steep off the flame for seven minutes. Serve hot.
I made this cold brewed. Very tangy and refreshing! You can definitely taste the blood orange in this tea. The other flavors accent it nicely.
Very tart, not exactly what I was expecting but still a wonderful decaf option for later in the evening!
Red-orange brew, very fresh and fruity. I suspect it will be great as an iced tea too. The orange is very distinct. The loose leaf dry tea is more pungent a fragrance than the liquid.
This tea was bland, the orange did not taste as it should. I did not like it, much too bitter.
I was expecting this to be bitter, but it was actually quite nice. I like it better as a blend, it especially brings out the flavor of black teas.
I'm not usually an herbal tea drinker, but I was looking for something to brew that would make a caffeine free, refreshing iced beverage. This one is absolutely lovely! The dried ingredients as well as the brewed tea are gorgeous to look at. I bought a sample the first time and plan to double up on it with my next order...and as a bonus, the hibiscus in the blend is said to be helpful in lowering blood pressure. This one is a winner!
