Blood Orange Customer Reviews

Deep vibrant color and sweet flavor. Hearty with a good balance of orange peel dryness and fruit juiciness.

I wish there was a category that said 'marvelous' for the rating. This ranks as one of the BEST teas I have ever had. It has a deep rich red color and just enough fruit and tang to make it wonderful! I had it iced (twice the tea, steep, pour over ice) with just a little rock sugar to sweeten it! I will definitely buy this one again!!

This has to be one of my top 3 teas from Adagio. Packed full of citrus, blood orange goodness.

★★★★★

I love the taste of the orange and it is a favorite to all of my guests. It needs no extra sweeteners in it. It tastes great warm but tastes extremely great cold as well!

It's not what I really like, it just doesn't make me think of tea as I'm drinking it..

★★★★★

Wow. Great herbal tea. The only thing I can say is a downside is the stepping time (5-10 mins) which isn't really an issue. Opening the package has a beautiful strong scent and the flavor once brewed does not disappoint. Great citrus flavor and the color is of a rose red wine. Absolute repurchase

★★★☆☆

Too strong of a flavor for my taste. The orange was obvious while there was little to no tea flavor.

I like this tea iced. I brew it strong so it holds up to ice. Very refreshing.

★★★★★

This is so good! Definitely try this flavor hot or cold. Very refreshing.

★★★★★

Wow!! Talk about a wonderful calorie free substitute for orange juice and a super refreshing, quenching and delicious tea! I have enjoyed it both iced and hot and honestly, I like it both ways. Very balanced between the sweet and the tang of an orange. I didn't use any sweetener and it was perfect! I will be ordering this one again.

This tea is by far my favorite herbal orange tea! I'm usually a bit leery of them, as they tend to have either an artificial flavor or a 'lemon scented cleaner' like aftertaste but this is magnificent! It tastes like a very good orange juice without sticking around to long in your mouth and the color is gorgeous thanks to the rose hips and hibiscus! I only bought a sample size of it but I will definitely be purchasing a full tin soon!! I highly recommend this tea!

This is so orange I swear it had been zested the day I drank it. The hibiscus is also a nice touch and gives the perfect visual pairing.

Not a huge fan. Not bad, but not great either. I love the smell, and the first half of my cup was great, but it went down hill to me...I will try it again in hopes I like it better!

★★★★☆

this is a good decaf herbal tisane with plenty of orange flavor.

★★★☆☆

I wasn't too crazy about this tea. I guess I like a certain flavor for tea

★★★☆☆

This tea is quite powerful. Quite tart yet flavorful. Best used as a blending tea. I tried it with plain roobios with a touch of sugar over ice. Made for a very refreshing cup.

Delicious. I especially like it iced. It is really fruity, Try it!

★★★★★

While a lot of people didn't seem to enjoy this one as much, I thought it was really nice. I might not be able to drink it plain, but with some sugar, it was delicious! I probably won't order again just because I have some teas I like more, but I definitely liked the sample.

★★★★☆

Extremely tart, but an enjoyable tea for those who like hibiscus tea.

★★★★★

Very orange with a lot of hibiscus. Good for blending.

Fantastic! Tried over ice and it was splendid, the tang of the oranges was seriously sublime! Will buy again :D

★★★☆☆

Definitely don't drink hot. It's okay as a cold brew.

★★★☆☆

Tasty, but a bit too sour. Love the smell and the color of the tea.

★★★★★

These fruity herbal teas are my new favorite iced teas, cold-brewed in the refrigerator overnight. Like the other fruity herbals, it's tart if you don't add sugar or honey, but I like things on the tart side, so I just reordered a larger size after trying the sample size and loving the fresh orange flavor.

★★★★☆

Refreshing iced, but I like the Fruit Medley better with a sweetener and a squeeze of lemon.

★★★☆☆

The flavor is very strong and distinct, but blood orange makes a great iced tea.

★★★★★

Great orange flavor with more body than a regular orange. As with most other herbal/fruit teas from Adagio, they are great without any sugar and awesome for the sports bottle for those, like me, who need a bit of taste in the water.

★★★★★

Excellence! Love it on its own and mixed with other teas. Tart and tangy yet refreshing.

★★★★★

I buy this for my son(he's almost 2) instead of giving him sugar juice or soda. He loves it! It has a bright, citrus flavor that is perfect for toddlers. I serve it chilled and over ice. Yum!

★★★★★

One of my favorite herbal teas because there are not apples! Perfect for a lingering citrus flavor.

★★★☆☆

has a very weird floral note to it, in my opinion. not quite what i was wanting, but not bad.

★★★★★

Refreshing and sweet. I typically add sweetener to all my teas, but this one doesn't need it. Great both hot and iced.

★★★★★

I was in search of affordable alternatives to my favorite teavana teas and this one hit the nail pretty much on the heard for my all time favorite tisane wild orange blossom tea. It is a bit stronger and Tangy which helps to cover the grassy flavor of my milk thistle herbs.

loved the flavour and smell of this tea, will drink again and again!

★★★★★

I thought this would be really strong considering how long you had to brew it for, but it was lovely, citrusy and very tart. Like a 'zinger' tea. I enjoyed it sans accoutrement and it was a lovely tea for a cool afternoon

★★★★☆

I liked this, however, some other people who sampled it thought it was not that good.

★★★★★

This is great to add a few pieces to earl grey to give it a little extra tart flavor.

★★★★☆

Somewhat sour, but is easily rounded off with some honey or sugar. Haven't tried it iced, but I imagine it would work well.

★★★★★

Love the smell. Love the color. My kids love it with a little honey and so do I.

★★★★☆

I love this as an addition to ceylon sonata or assam melody if I'm making iced tea.

5 min steep · 212°F

★★★★☆

Oddly bitter sweet. Not a /bad/ tea, but definitely nothing like I was expecting. A spoonful of honey mitigates the sharpness of the orange peel, if you're so inclined.

★★★★★

Blood orange is a great tea for any time of the day.

★★★★★

I haven't had this yet myself as I bought it as a gift for a friend of mine. She loves this! She said the taste was wonderful. I'm very glad she liked it! UPDATE: I finally tried this myself, and I really like this! Tangy, but not overly so. Great orange flavor.

★★★★☆

Pretty tasty. A little sour but I liked it. I will use it for blending other teas definitely. And for evening drinking for the caffeine free benefit.

I love this tea! Fantastic flavour. I've only had it hot but look forward to trying it cold. Will definitely reorder when I'm out. I have it as is but my boyfriend has it with a bit of honey and loves it.

★★★☆☆

This was a little bland, I'll try it again with 2 tsp instead of one.

Amazming taste so crisp and light for a hot summer day. Loved it so much I orderd another batch. So easy I put 2 quarts of water, two pouchs of tea and a litte stevia left it overnight in the refrigerator that easy.

I love this herbal blend the best because it has a very lovely orange flavor and there are no apples in sight (which is what I dislike about most of of Adagio's fruit blends.

★★★★★

I love this one alone or will mix it with my ice tea. YUM!

★★★★☆

Had it iced. Tasted like an orange tea ('blood' comes from color), was pleasant and refreshing.

★★★★☆

This is a good tea, in particular mixed with other teas of tropical flavor profiles.
