Blood Orange Customer Reviews

Deep vibrant color and sweet flavor. Hearty with a good balance of orange peel dryness and fruit juiciness.

Very juicy, tart and dry all at the same time! I think I'll try this with some honey next time.

★★★★☆

The color is fabulous but the taste is not so intense.

★★★☆☆

The orange flavor felt a bit thin, but overall this is an invigorating blend.

★★★★★

It's very tangy with a strong citrus taste. I'd go for another bag any time!

★★★★☆

I really liked it. It wasn't as strong as I expected it to be, but it was really good.

★★★★★

This is a nice strong flavored herbal tea. Great served over ice for a refreshing drink. Also nice served hot.

★★★★☆

This tea is good. It comes out as a pretty rose color.

★★★★★

This tea has a subtle orange flavor. It's a nice change from my usual morning irish breakfast tea.

★★★★★

I had this last year as iced tea which is excellent since it is caffeine free. Now that the weather has changed, I can enjoy it hot. Good intense flavor.

★★★★★

The hot tea version of this blood orange is better than the cold. Very flavorful herbal tea.

★★★★★

Stock up on this fantastic herbal tea for the cold and flu season! It tastes so good and makes you feel better too.

★★★★★

My favorite blend! You can see the orange pieces which enrich its flavor. I like that it does not contain actual tea so I can have a cup right before bed. But try not to overbrew!

★★★☆☆

I personally think this tea is more of an iced tea blend rather than a hot tea blend. When I had this tea hot it was like drinking hot juice and was not pleasant to me at all but all the flavor was there which I appreciated. honestly I think this blend is more about what your preference is. I love blood orange but I've found out i'm not much for it hot.

I love blood oranges and to get that bright pop of flavor in a tea is just spectacular!

★★★★☆

A very citric tisane with delicious and authentic blood orange flavor. Perfect served black, but do not overbrew or it becomes very tart.

★★★★★

This is a wonderful tisane full of fruity flavor and many sweet tones. You can enjoy this as a cold brew or as a hot tea. It's a must buy for its versatility.

I thought this tea was amazing on all counts! One note, though, is that the tea seems a lot more viscus when brewed than my other teas. It has a lusher mouth feel, nothing bad at all!

Delicious! I love this stuff. Perfect blend of flavorful and sweet. I ran out last month and I've been waiting for my next shipment with great anticipation...

★★★★★

loved it, I'd never tasted blood orange and this was a little sour and a little sweet.

★★★★☆

very very strong or I just did it wrong. But when I finally diluted it enough it was delicious

★★★☆☆

Tried it hot and iced. While it is better iced, it is just too sour for me.

Not sure what I was expecting with this flavor but it just didn't cut it for my personal taste. Give it a try!

★★★★☆

This tastes fruit punch-y but it definitely has an orange twist to it. It's a strong sweet-tart flavor, I would like it if it were a bit more orang-y. But it's quite good.

Beautiful hot or cold. I like to cold brew it overnight then sweeten with simple syrup.

★★★☆☆

This tea is certainly not one of my favorites... It is entirely too tangy, and had almost a candy-like fake-orange flavor instead of a natural tasting orange flavor. It tastes a little better cold, but I have a feeling I'm going to have a hard time finishing the rest of my sample. I will try mixing it with vanilla to make a dreamsicle tea to finish it off.

★★★☆☆

From the name, I expected sweeter orange taste. Decent.

★★★★☆

Nice tea with delightful aroma, orange flavor very nice

★★★★★

Amazing flavor, and mixes well with English breakfast.

Drank this within a couple days! Huge fan of this tea

★★★★★

This tea is so not pretentious. it's spot on! The flavors are so full and delightful you don't need to add anything to it. I would be guilt to admit I had a few cups of this throughout the evening!

★★★★★

Very flavorful tea, not overwhelmingly orange-y but you could still definitely taste the orange.

★★★★★

Very yummy! In fact, so yummy, I sent some to my brother!

★★★★★

great taste
I mix it with black currant tea
and make sun tea by the gallon

★★★★★

Wonderful flavor when lightly sweetened and chilled.

★★★★☆

I love blood orange. I love mixing blood orange with nearly everything I can. I love it best when mixing it half and half with blackberry tea, and steeping it for 4 minutes.

This one just wasn't for me. Even when I attempted to mix it, it still ended up being too sour for my taste.

★★★★★

Just bitter enough to keep the sweetness from becoming cloying. Love it.

★★★★★

Excellent blend where the orange is the right amount of favor without overpowering the tea. Highly recommend!

It tastes just like it smells, which is so rare for any kind of tea. Unfortunately the taste is exactly what I dislike in some herbal teas. Maybe its the hibiscus flowers or the rose hip? I cant tell, but its so tart theres almost nothing you can do if, like me, you dislike sugar/honey/sweeteners in most teas. Maybe Ill try this cold, or just steep it for a shorter time.

I really liked this tea, it had a very strong almost sweet taste from the hibiscus.

I loved the sweetness and you could definitely taste and smell all of the notes in the tea. I'd definitely recommend as a dessert tea.

★★★★★

Taste almost identical to tazos passion tea, really delicious!

Fruity and orange but a little weird warm. I guess I'm just not used to warm orange.

Definatly a good cup of tea for before bed. although I thought it could do with a bit more orange.

I loved this hot. I'm not a fan of decaf or herbal teas because they have a weird grassy flavor. I wish I could learn to like chamomile and rooibos, but I don't think that will happen. I'm very happy that I took a chance on the blood orange. It offers great orange flavor. It's not like drinking orange juice, its exactly like it is--steeped orange peel. It's sweet and a little tart. I could sip this all night.

★★★★☆

This is a very refreshing tea. It is incredibly flavorful. I generally put sweetner in my teas but this one doesn't need one. It is also delicious iced and used in cocktails!

★★★★☆

It tastes like orange juice, having a natural taste opposed to artificial. Not bad!

I am a huge fan of teas based on fruit flavors, and this definitely delivers. It has the sweet tartness of an orange, without any bitterness in similar teas.
