Blood Orange Customer Reviews

Deep vibrant color and sweet flavor. Hearty with a good balance of orange peel dryness and fruit juiciness.

I loved the flavor and aroma of this tea! It was bright and very orangey. Definitely a new favorite of mine.

My absolute favorite adagio tea! I love the smell and the bitter/sweet warmth. Sometimes I like to add some of it to another tea just to get an extra kick.

★★★★★

Definitely flavorful, I love the color of it too. Very good sweetened with a little honey.

This was a really bold and fruitful orange taste, and was super pleased with its ingredients!

Not for me - far too fruity. Have also tried it mixed with rooibos and honeybush and I can't bring myself to like the flavor.

Very delicious. The orange flavor does not come through as much as I wish though. The taste of hibiscus is in the background, so if you don't like hibiscus this is not the drink for you. But I actually mix this with honeybush and that is very good together.

I'm not typically a fan of fruity teas because they often remind me of warmed juice. Having said that, this tea was rather nice. It did still have a fruity juice-like flavor, but it was not tart or overpowering. I think the rooibus balanced the fruitiness better than a black tea would have.

★★★☆☆

If you like orange, you will love this. Bright, fresh oranges in a cup.

Rich orange flavor but not as strong or tangy as I thought it would be.

I liked this one, but it would be better over ice and some sugar or honey. I don't usually add sugar, but the Blood Orange needed it. This is more of a summer tea.

This is one of my favorite orange teas from them. You taste the orange and everything else. I definitely recommend if you love orange anything

This tea is a delicious blend of herbal tea, and my absolute favorite go to tea after a stressful day at work. I definitely recommend getting this tea.

This tea has everything, beautiful color, nice tart orange flavor. We pair it with a green tea (gunsmoke) to add a little caffeine punch! Amazing!

This is just what it looks like on the tin—a very orange tea. Delicious, but pretty much just orange at its heart, so if you want something more complicated than that this might not be it.

Love the flavor and boldness of this tea. I let is steep the max time and enjoyed. Will be reordering this.

Great hot or cold. Love it.

★★★★★

Lovely orange flavor. Very tart and fruity. Love it. I steeped it a little longer to draw out more orange flavor.

I was a bit disappointed with this tea. Upon opening the package it had a lovely citrusy smell but the flavor was far too tart for my liking. Adding it to a chai tea made it more palatable.

Bought this for my mom. She's normally not a huge fan of hibiscus in blends, however she is really enjoying this one!

This is some sour tea alright, but that's exactly what I wanted. Blood orange is typically quite sour and acidic, and while the acid has been toned down for the tea, the sourness really shines. The natural oils from the orange peel hangs in there for multiple steeps, giving you more bang for your buck. The hibiscus and rose hips only enhance the flavor. I suppose if you want to tone down the sour, you could add a teaspoon of honey to it, but that's up to you. I also really like that this is herbal tea, so I can drink it near bedtime without worrying about the caffeine jitters.

★★★★★

Nice citrus flavor, on a whim I added it to a black tea that needed to be slightly toned down and it worked a treat! I do also enjoy it on its own.

★★★★★

I got this to try, and was so pleased with it I immediately ordered more. It is bright and tart, and an absolute joy to drink. They have managed to give it a lemon flavor that does not taste like zest. Highly recommend you try this if you love tart things too!

Wowza. This one is tart. If you are a fan of the other blood oranges out there this one is better. Beautiful bright red color when brewed. We found it just a tad too strong of a flavor but brewed the rest as an iced batch and it was bordering on delicious.

Beautiful and intensely flavored. A nearly perfect match to one of my favorite Teavana teas. Very satisfied!

This is a perfect blend of sweet and citrus. You absolutely can taste the orange in the cup and with a touch of sugar it is perfect.

★★★☆☆

I was excited to try the unique flavors in this tea. Lots of beautiful pieces of orange peel, rose hips and hibiscus, but the flavor was a little watered down for my taste. Loved that it wasn’t too tart, because sometimes hibiscus can be a bit sharp, but I didn’t get all the lovely orange profile coming through. I will try again with maybe a teaspoon and a half of leaves and update the review.

One of my favorites for main component of mixing teas. this sweet citrus is an absolute most for anyone that likes a natural sweetness.

I've been enjoying these fruity decaf teas late at night to curb my dessert cravings! I also enjoy adding a little bit of raspberry leaf just to give it more of a 'tea' feel, but it's also great to steep in hot water and leave overnight in the fridge for some iced tea. This tea is tart with much of the orange flavor, and you can add sweetener if you would like but personally I felt that it was sufficiently sweet

I love how the leaves after steeping smell just like an orange peel! This one isn’t as flavorful if you drink it hot. As it cools, more and more flavor is apparent. The first cup I brewed hot, let cool to warm and then sipped on it til it was cool and added ice to the rest. The next time I made it, I brewed 32oz for a few extra minutes (13min total) so it was stronger, added some honey, let it cool a bit and then poured it over a pitcher of ice. Yum!! Very refreshing.

Very delicious. Strong blood orange with added depth and complexity from the hibiscus and rose hips. Best with sweetener imo.

I love the boldness and fruity orange flavor of this tisane. The hibiscus in this doesn't bother me at all since I also love the dark tarty flavor that it brings. This has become one of my favorites out of the tisanes.

As soon as I opened the bag it had a sweet aroma. A light & fruity herbal tea. I steeped it for 10 minutes at 212 °F. Also added honey which enhanced the flavor. I wished it was more tarty, but will still purchase it.

Sometimes hybiscus based teas end up tasting the same. This one has a distinct orange flavor that makes it worth ordering.

This tea is splendid year around. It is so refreshing and reminds me a lot of Starbucks' passion tea. Sometimes I even enjoy nibbling on the dried fruit inside ha.

Love it!

Great scent, great flavor, has a natural sweetness, very powerful citrus notes, great orange scent. Well balanced.

This is a good tea with an enjoyable flavor. My favorite is Orange black, and I was hoping this would be similar. Its good, but has not knocked Orange off its number one spot. With the warmer days, I have been reachign for this tea more and more. Its good hot and cold.

★★★★★

This is a great afternoon or evening tea, great on colder days and nights when you want something warm and comforting but without caffeine.

Good flavor, don't steep to long or gets a very bitter taste. I steep then pour directly over ice for an iced tea.

★★★☆☆

It wasn't what I expected!I was hoping for a nice flavory orange tea but to me it tasted like a bad orange/orange juice or just orange peels!I give it a three stars because I think it might suit some people taste or if you like eating dry orange peels (I think it is used sometimes in cooking) it might be for you but it's not something I like!

★★★★★

love this tea! wonderful orange flavor- good hot or cold. Highly recommend!
