Blood Orange Customer Reviews

Deep vibrant color and sweet flavor. Hearty with a good balance of orange peel dryness and fruit juiciness.

Very tasty for an evening tea. Very smooth orange taste and a very fragrant body.

I love anything blood orange flavored and this is no different. It's so delicious and tastes so fresh!

★★★★★

Incredible orange flavor! I sweetened with a little stevia and it was amazing sweet and tart! Will try with a shot of cream tonight.

One of my favorites! I love it iced — even during a snowy winter. I use 4 tablespoons to 1 cup of water and steep for an hour. Then add 8 cups of water and refrigerate.

I had a sample of this and loved it enough to order more. The orange is very noticeable. Perfect pick me up

Definitely my second favorite tea here! I always use cane sugar and just a tiny bit of honey. It leads to a sweet almost exact blood orange flavor! I'll normally just let this steep as long as possible, since the longer, the stronger the orange infusion is. The longest I'll leave it when warm is 2 hours, since anything more seems to lead to bitterness. Cold infused is good, but just putting ice in it after steeping it hot is much better in my opinion.

It's okay. There was a strong hibiscus and rose hip flavor. A slight orange flavor, mostly as a tease at the end. When trying to brew it a second time, it mostly taste like water.

I love blood orange but I love this tea better. I have it hot with some honey and savor every sip. 😋

I loved this tea there have been a few that I have really liked but when I finished my sample cup my first thought was oh man it's all gone I really wanted more.

My wife and I love this blend. Just a little sweetener and it’s like premium fruit punch.

A bit weaker than I would’ve liked, but still had a good taste. Did not brew twice nicely, but the first cup was pretty good.

Delicious orange flavor, was great iced and hot! Great summer tea

As someone who enjoys hibiscus, this was a very enjoyable cup. If marketed with hibiscus in the name, I would have rated higher. There were some minor notes of citric acidity from the blood orange but, given the name, I was left wanting for a bit more.

I absolutely love this blend. Recently had an intestinal virus and it was the only thing I could drink. Thank you!

★★★★★

I dare say that this is not really a dupe for David's Sunny C- because it is far better and more tasty. Another tea I like to mix with green tea for caffeine kick with the taste.

★★★★★

I liked it but prefer blood orange in blends. It mixes better with other flavors

Great flavor, and smells absolutely wonderful. My entire office felt warm and cozy. Great sipping tea

More of a hibiscus flavor! But I do get quite a pleasant afternot of blood orange and rose!

Very flavor forward. Very refreshing! Highly recommend to fans of blood orange.

This blend made a warm and fragrant cup. You can't really go wrong with a citrusy warm herbal like this, especially on a cold winter day. Really, the only way forward is up when it comes to a blend like this, so as good as this blend is the spiced variant is even better! Both are good, and I highly recommend trying them.

I was honestly worried when I pulled today's packet out, the ingredients listed red rooibos and I was so not looking forward to it. I brewed it as the packet suggested at 212° for 8 minutes and saw it was not what I was expecting but a vivid red hibiscus tea instead. I checked the listing and was relieved to find no rooibos at all. In the packet it smelled like a children's chewable vitamin and once brewed it continued that as a flavor. I will say the citrus really shines through on this tea and while it's not something I'll buy, I certainly wouldn't turn it down if it showed up in another tea box.

I liked it a lot. However, I did not get the strong orange flavor others are reporting. I mostly taste hibiscus, which is a flavor I enjoy, but that I can find in simpler blends.

Light, bright, and aromatic. Taste was reminiscent of mulled cider but with an orange base instead of apple. I was surprised no spice was listed on the packet as there was almost a cinnamon flavor at the back. If you like orange juice you'll adore this tea.

This is one of my favorite fruit teas. Bought in the past, will be bought in the future. I do a full 10 minute steep. It’s just delightfully orange.

A nice tart and bright citrus drink. I imagine it would be lovely iced in the summer.

I may have steeped this one wrong, not sure, but it was a bit too tart and didn't have enough of the orange flavor. I used it all, unfortunately, but I think next time I would try a lower temp or cold brew it. That being said, though it wasn't very good hot (for me) I can see it being very good for blending!

Communitea sample: 5 min @ 212 F, this tea may look purple, but it tastes orange! It has a lot of the flavor of orange juice, with a slightly lighter body, and some refreshing tropical floral notes! Many people often find hibiscus to be too tart and bitter, but the orange really brings out sweetness. Oranges are naturally tart as well, but here, you can tell just how sweet they are as they balance the tartness from the hibiscus. Lovely blend that I was able to get a second infusion out of!

Beautiful vibrant red color. A nice hibiscus tea. It has a dusty, but pleasant, not too-strong orange flavor from the dried orange peel and orange flavors. Tart and refreshing, a good immune-boosting tea for the dark days of Winter. Probably would be good iced as well,

This is one of the better orange teas which I've had. It's strongly citrus and zesty, without being too sour or acidic. It's probably best with a little honey. The color in the cup is beautiful!

'Orange' you glad you tried this tea? I know I am! It's rich and bold so it's not an everyday type of tea for me, but that doesn't mean it's not great. I like I have only had this hot so far (due to the winter weather), but I am intrigued by trying it iced. I will revise my review when I've done so.

★★★★★

Great aroma and flavor! Definitely a strong taste of blood orange. I drank it hot, but I would guess it would be great on ice.

A beautiful bright tea for summertime sipping. I am not big on hibiscus or rose but they stand behind the citrus of the fruit so nicely. This tea is tart and tangy. I added raw honey to my cup. I prefer this Blood Orange chilled.

My absolute favorite adagio tea! I love the smell and the bitter/sweet warmth. Sometimes I like to add some of it to another tea just to get an extra kick.

Not for me - far too fruity. Have also tried it mixed with rooibos and honeybush and I can't bring myself to like the flavor.

Very delicious. The orange flavor does not come through as much as I wish though. The taste of hibiscus is in the background, so if you don't like hibiscus this is not the drink for you. But I actually mix this with honeybush and that is very good together.

I'm not typically a fan of fruity teas because they often remind me of warmed juice. Having said that, this tea was rather nice. It did still have a fruity juice-like flavor, but it was not tart or overpowering. I think the rooibus balanced the fruitiness better than a black tea would have.

★★★☆☆

If you like orange, you will love this. Bright, fresh oranges in a cup.

I liked this one, but it would be better over ice and some sugar or honey. I don't usually add sugar, but the Blood Orange needed it. This is more of a summer tea.
