Blood Orange Customer Reviews

Deep vibrant color and sweet flavor. Hearty with a good balance of orange peel dryness and fruit juiciness.

An extremely refreshing herbal option when you need a little citrus zing. Perfect for late summer/fall. The orange is obviously at the front but the hibiscus and rose hips help add a little complexity to the taste. Really enjoy this one.

★★★★★

The perfect mixer! I love adding this to black tea to give it a bit of twang and take off any bitter edges.

★★★☆☆

It was okay. Literally just okay. I dont know if I'd buy it again. Theres not much flavor. I was expecting more flavor but it just wasn't there.

This is my favorite summer ice tea! It is bold and refreshing and I never feel a need to add any sweeteners. I brew up a large pot, then chill it, and even take a thermos of it to work to get me through the day. I don't think this tea can be beat! I stopped drinking sweetened drinks of any kind years ago, and this tea never leaves me feeling deprived of those sweet drinks! I still love Blood Orange!

Updated: This remains my favorite summer ice tea blend! It just hits all the flavors and makes it unnecessary to sweeten it! It remains my favorite natural iced tea for summer!

It was okay overall, a little bit weak for my taste.

★★★★★

I love mixing this one with the Rooibos Orange. The combination of the two is wonderful

★★★★★

For a flavorful tisane (herbal/caffeine-free) hot drink this is wonderful. It's a thick orange and hibiscus blend that works wonderfully. My husband and I both love to have a cup of this in the evening. I've experimented with longer and shorter steeps and I find that I can't get a second steep even with the first steep being short, so I just steep it for 10 minutes (It doesn't get bitter since there is no actual tea in it) and get as much flavor into one cup as I can. I don't add anything to it.

Very refreshing. My wife really likes this tea in the morning.

★★★★☆

Good orange flavor, noticeable but not overpowering.

★★★★☆

This is good tea but a little too pungent for my taste. I can't drink more than 1cup per sitting.

★★★★★

This is a wonderful herbal tea and you can enjoy it hot or cold

★★★★☆

Would have this as an iced tea. I think it brings out the flavor more.

★★★★★

Great deep blood orange flavor. It has the right amount of tart and sweetness. Very well rounded!

The flavors were not overpowering, more subtle hints of orange.

★★★★★

This is my favorite herbal blend. It is a lovely spicy, orange flavor. I especially like to use it as a base when blending other herbal teas. It is really good iced with Lemongrass Ginger blend brewed with it.

★★★★★

Very tasty, you can tell this is made with real fruit.

This is an awesome substitute for the Mandarin Mimosa tea when Tevana closed their doors. In fact, I think I even like it better. Very refreshing summer iced tea. If you like citrus and fruity, you will love this tea.

★★★★★

I use this one to add a blast of flavor to my green and black teas. Great color and flavor.

★★★★★

I really liked this! You do need to use a strainer with this, as it has tons of floaters. With regular tea, I usually just let it set in the cup. The taste and smell are both fantastic.

★★★★★

This is wonderful herbal tea for summer months. I cold brew it on the counter in a big jar. Very refreshing.

★★★★★

Amazing citrus tea. The aroma is so enticing.

★★★★★

I absolutely love blood oranges, this is the perfect substitute for me. I have to watch how much fruit I eat due to the amount of sugars they contain. This I can have with my favorite diabetic friendly sweetener and I get the satisfaction I need. This goes for most of the herbals I have gotten from Adagio.

What you'd expect just unfortunately when you go to sweeten it, it loses its flavor.

★★★★★

I recently had to stop drinking coffee because of health problems that it caused. Because I had never had herbal tea that I liked as much as coffee I was discouraged. And then I found Adagio herbal non-caffeine teas online and I LOVE them. This is a morning tea that I drink and have found three others that I also really like.

★★★★★

Tart and refreshing! Makes a great iced tea for summer mixers or as a standalone.

★★★★★

Always a favorite. I make this iced and still enjoy this one in the hot summer afternoons

★★★★★

Really nice herbal tea, but be mindful of over steeping. It tends to go bitter if over steeped.

★★★☆☆

This tea was nicely flavored but it wasn't anything unique or spectacular. While I was drinking it I kept thinking about the tea I already own that could be easily mixed to create the same flavor.

Love anything blood orange and this tea didn't let me down. It's wonderful!

★★★★☆

One of the stronger tea flavors. It has a good punch of flavor and we love it!

★★★★★

Perfect for iced teas, I added a bit of lemon juice and sugar to it

★★★★☆

Tart and strong, this tea is great for blending but quite powerful on it own.

★★★★☆

Tangy and smells fragrant. Tastes really good with lavender syrup.

Not my favorite herbal on this site. Doesn't have a distinctive flavor that differentiates it from something else. Inoffensive, just not my favorite.

I thought I would like it more than I do. The dry tea on its own smells amazing, but I'm not crazy about how it smells once brewed. I've tried both cold and hot brewing and it's just not...my cup of tea.

I am enjoying this tea blend as an iced beverage. Smells absolutely divine, and the blood orange taste and smell are very real and not artificial. I could drink this all summer long!

★★★★★

Very citrusy - since it s an energetic, fruity taste, I don t mind drinking it in the summer. It has a strong orange flavor but doesn t taste cheap.

★★★★★

This tea is like a warm hug on a cold night. Doesn’t need any sweetener.

One of my favorite teas to drink is my own blending (50/50) of Blood Orange with Oriental Spice. Although I like a change now and again, I could drink this blend forever.

Reminds me a lot of a Teavana orange tea, a bit tart but lots of.juicy orange flavor, excellent mixes into other teas too

★★★★★

Good, but somehow a bit cinnamon spicier than I thought it would be. I think I’d enjoy it more in winter.

★★★★★

Excellent fruity flavor, very well balanced. It is also very nice cold.

Got this tea at first from a sample and enjoyed it so much that I bought the full size. It has a sweet taste to it so you don’t need to add sugar. I am thinking about possibly making it into iced tea as well.

★★★★★

Great tea, very fruity and full of flavor. Good for as a summer drink.
