Just like the blues, this cup's got soul. Smooth, slightly tart, with sweetness like fresh blueberry pie.

The flavor is great alone, but use this in my 'crazy teas', where I mix many flavors together to find that perfect mix.

I brewed my Berry Blues hot with some extra hibiscus and a little tupelo honey. It is positively DELICIOUS! I tasted the apple more than anything, which surprised me because I thought I'd taste more blueberry. Still, this is a fantastic tea and a new favorite for me! You'll even find it in some of my blends. I would highly recommend this tea!

I got this for iced tea. It was ok. I still prefer Honeybush Wildberry.

Update: My partner really liked this as unsweetened iced tea so it's getting a star bump.

Beautiful as a cold brew tea in the fridge overnight. Has tang but still definitely berry!

This is full of flavor and a great on ice. What a summer treat!

Very forward with the berry flavors, but the flavors seem to get a tad confused at times.

Makes such a great glass of iced tea!! Very satisfying by itself or mixed with Raspberry Patch!

★★★★☆

I like this tea but I was looking for more of a blueberry flavor and I didn't get it. I'm also not a fan of strawberry and that flavor was more prominent.

I cold brewed a pitcher of this tea, and it is delicious. I love the tartness of blueberries and add them to my unsweetened oatmeal most days. This tea has the same deep blueberry flavor. Not too tart...not too sweet...just ripe (uh, I mean right!). I will update my review once I try it hot.

4.5 out of 5 stars. I would have this again. Overall berry flavor, but the blueberry doesn't stand out from the berry flavor.

Berry Blues is a lovely, light tisane of blueberries, hibiscus and apples. The flavor was refreshing after cold-brewing but would be tasty hot as well, with a little sweetener added. For this serving I turned it into a low sugar fruit punch with addition of a coupe ounces of orange juice and ice. It was delicious!

CommuniTEA 2022: I know I sampled this last year cold-brewed but a day late so no review given. It was one of several herbals tried on the same day in the same way and I honestly don’t remember how I felt about it. This year I steeped as a dessert tea

The variety of fruits provides a nice blend that avoids the astringency that some berry teas have.

So good! I just love all of Adagio's fruit tisanes and this one is no exception. We are heading into iced tea season and now I need to order more of this!

M tea had lots of apple pieces that plumped right up and one lone blueberry. I steeped for 8 minutes but would try 10 if I did it again. It has a tart flavor and was nice and fruity. Enjoyable.

My CT packet was a little light today so I added extra hibiscus, rose hips, and a couple blueberries. I love tart and fruity herbals so I let mine steep almost 20 minutes. Very tasty cuppa. 200° for 10-20 minutes.

I'm sure this tea would have been fantastic if it weren't for the hibiscus. As it was I did enjoy my cup and the nice berry flavors. The color of the infusion was simply a stunning shade.

I cold brewed today's communiTEA sample, and it toned down the tartness from the hibiscus. This is a good blueberry tea with a little honey added.

This tea is great hot and amazing cold brewed. The sweet and tart flavors balance nicely and make for a great tea!

Even though I steeped on the short end, this sip was ripe end to end with hibiscus tartness. Blueberry flavor is present too, leaving a pleasantly jammy aftertaste, but hibiscus is the star of the show here.

I would consider myself a member of the hibiscus fan club, which is very important to enjoying this tea. The sharp, tart flavor of hibiscus and rose is in the forefront of the blend, fallowed up by a wash of sweet, juicy blueberry. Very tasty, especially cold brewed. I will be buying more soon.

Team Tart checking in and all aboard for this tea! Juicy, tart berries with lovely florals make this a cup of wow! I enjoyed mine hot and unsweetened and it was delicious, but I'm positive that cold brewing would be amazingly refreshing. I'd love to try this with some vanilla creamer and some toasty nutty flavors to make a blueberry pie alamode creation. Gonna have to search the blends because I'm sure someone has already made one.

Nice balance of sweet and tart. I enjoyed this hot with a little agave. I bet it would be an excellent iced as well.

Fruity, sweet, and slightly tart. Smells amazing with a notable blueberry scent, but the blueberry taste is hidden behind the apple and hibiscus if you are not looking for it.

I had to give this a three because the hibiscus was just too overpowering for me. The apple bits must have been a Granny Smith apple because the tartness in this tea is strong, very strong.

CommuniTEA portion: Cut down the temp on time if this one because I was planning to cold brew this but time didn't allow. Ended up not as tart as expected and a bit more fruit forward. Nice afternoon treat on a crazy weather day!

One sniff was enough to make me put it in the refrigerator so I could enjoy it chilled. My guess is it's even better iced than hot (at least, here in the Floridian summer!). Beautiful crimson liquor, fruity, and with a wave of berry flavors that wash over the tongue--one moment bracingly tart, the next sweet and juicy. A bit of brown sugar brings out the flavor even further. Don't be afraid to let it steep overlong to extract all the berry goodness!

Today's CommuniTea packet is berry blues, made with hibiscus, rose hips, apple pieces, blueberry flavor and blueberries. While I've had it and like it hot, it makes a really lovely iced drink for summer. Usually I cold brew it, about 10 g per 32 ounces of water in the refrigerator over night. Very refreshing.

Updated (May 1st '22): Whole new tea when cold brewed. This year I cold brewed it, and that tames the tartness so the blueberry flavors can come through. As a note: I did have to add a handful of dried blueberries to the brew as there weren't any in my sample. Which is why I'm not changing the stars, as it comes, it isn't blueberry enough. (reviewed through CommuniTEA '22; cold brewed overnight)

Original (Jun 9th '21): This was fine, it just wasn't really blueberry in any way when hot. I added a touch of honey and left it to cool which did bring out minuscule berry flavors (maybe?)... but only if I focused really hard on each sip. To me, this tastes almost exactly like every other fruity herbal that contains hibiscus and rose hips. (reviewed through CommuniTEA '21; 5 min @ 212F)

Huge fan of all that is Blueberry! To maximize the Blueb Bliss ...add some frozen 🫐 ones to this cuppa, when iced! I do enjoy this hot (as I don't mind a tart tea), but love it as a cold brew/iced, indeed, as well! ((And, that does lessen the tartness.)) All around, this is a massive top fav of Adagio's herbals/fruitastic options.

This is a great herbal tea. I personally love hibiscus so this an automatic winner for me. I tried it warm on first steep but will resteep at least 2x more cold. A good one for the hot upcoming summer months.

CommuniTEA 5/1/22: if you love berry hibiscus teas, this one is for you. Very blueberry forward overall. Not as tart as other hibiscus blends.

Well. I'm in heaven. 2 of my favorite tea flavors together in a tea. Blueberry and Hibiscus. This tea probably doesn't *need* sweeteners to be honest but I added 1 packet of stevia anyway to make it extra delightful. This tea is going directly on my wishlist for a bigger size, and when I purchase it, I'm definitely going to try it iced as well because I think that would also be divine. ❤️ Brewed at 200° steeped for 4 minutes.

I love cold brewing hibiscus teas, the tartness tends to be more palatable when cold, this was no exception. A really enjoyable blueberry drink, I sweetened it a bit and the taste reminded me of a delicious blueberry smoothie.

I'm surprised at how well the apple flavor comes through. Usually, that's a much more subtle flavor than blueberry.

Delicious! Really enjoyed this one - fruity and not bitter at all, could see this being a nice iced tea as well. Adding to my wishlist for sure!

This is a very fruity smelling tea! The biggest flavor component is definitely the blueberries with the hibiscus as a close second. The apple is there but more seemingly to sweeten the blend. If you like blueberries and blueberry tea then I think this is a great tea for you, but unfortunately I'm not huge on blueberries so it's not a favorite for me personally.
