I love making a cup or two of this before bed, always helps me sleep. Friends love it iced and mixed with lemonade too!
My niece enjoys watching it turn purple when we add a bit of lemon to it. Overall one of the better teas I've had.
This tea is a nice light lemongrass tea mostly. It's just a novelty with enough butterfly pea flower for pH chemistry fun. Don't get me wrong, the color play is fun. My inner child leads me to drink a whole pot of this at a time when I make it because pouring small glasses and adding lemon juice amuses me so much. Also, the taste goes nicely with a splash of lemon juice. But taste wise, it is mostly just lemongrass, just know that going in.
The color is beautiful and the flavor is great! I wish it was available more frequently!

Such a fun tea to make. The effect from the Butterfly Pea flower is mesmerizing to watch steep. I love the flavor of lemongrass tea, but I feel the blueberry flavor could be a bit stronger - especially if one is adding additional lemon to change the color, the blueberry flavor gets completely lost.

Such a lovely flavour and the colour change is so fun to watch
This tea, while admittedly gimmicky, is genuinely the real deal. The blue color imparted by the ever-magical Blue Butterfly Pea Flower is something to behold (but the real show starts when you add a drop or two of lemon or lime juice!), but the flavor is what keeps me coming back. I ve read that while the suggested steep time is 5-10 minutes, many reccommend no less than 10. However, what I ve found is that the flavors really come alive if you steep for 15-20 minutes or longer, if you can manage to wait that long for this delicious tea. I haven t tried it iced, but I can only imagine it s even better. In terms of flavor, the lemongrass takes precedence over the blueberry unless you steep for 15+ minutes, which allows the blueberry flavors to pop and levels the playing field between the two. It s smooth, refreshing, and one of Adagio s most unique teas. I definitely suggest getting your hands on some of this tea.
EDIT: I've tried this tea with both lemon and lime juice added and I wholeheartedly recommend lime over lemon. It adds another layer to the flavor profile and is the only addition I'll ever use.
I like this better without the citrus added, personal preference. I've had something similar in taste before, but couldn't tell you what it was. This has a light floral taste to it. I find it's more similar to the lemongrass than the blueberry it's described as. When you add the lemon juice it takes on a different flavor that's more sweet, so possibly that's where the berry description came from.
I absolutely LOVE this tea. It is my favorite. The flavors are so delicious and light. It makes for a really great end of the day cup of tea.
Gorgeous blue color and a fun magic trick if adding lemon/lime juice to the cup. The lemony flavor is light and refreshing, complimented nicely by the sweetness of blueberries.
Refreshing and fruity. Kinda smells like fruit loops cereal, so wouldn’t recommend in u don’t like fruity teas.
Very strong lemon taste even without lemon juice. Might be a bit too strong for me, but I ll still drink it without issue.

My sister told me of this tea. So when it came back August 2020, I made sure to get some. It did not disappoint. I will make sure to buy even more the next blue moon. My kids (ages 7 and 3) love it as well!

Flavor may be a bit too light for some people's taste. I prefer the blue color, but it tastes better when you add the lemon and the purple is still beautiful.
This is an exceptional tea. Very light and fruity with lemongrass punching through. I ordered 6 packets for myself and for friends but I should have doubled the order so I had enough for the year. I wish this tea was a regularly sold item as it’s definitely good enough to be.
So yummy. Mine was purple when brewed (with sugar) and turned blue when milk was added. Need to ration it since it's only available rarely!

I mainly drink this tea cold. It has an interesting flavor that is not weakened by serving it over ice. The color is gorgeous too! 😊
Be prepared for the bright blue color. This tea is good, but I was hoping for a richness of flavor that matched the richness of color. It seems a bit weak.
I really love the butterfly pea flower in this, it takes it up a notch from the earl grey bella luna. I enjoyed it both iced and hot. The lemon grass and blueberry stood out more when it was cold, however if you want the fragrance that this one holds too, drink it hot.

The tea has a very pleasant lemon and blueberry flavor. I find I like to let it steep a bit on the longer side because it can be a bit delicate. I like it with a little bit of sugar. It also turns the cup a lovely shade of blue.
As other reviews state it's a lovely color. Most of the flavor comes from the lemongrass. I prefer this iced - as it's reminiscent of lemonade.
The taste isn’t as impressive as the color, but still a good dessert tea overall. The taste is sweet and fruity while the aroma is compatible to Froot Loops.

This is a very tasty tea, with the ability to keep it fruitier or lighten it wit a squeeze of lemon. A nice flavorless honey makes this tea EVEN tastier. Don t see the huge change in color as advertised, however.

I didn't think I'd like this tea seeing as it was herbal, but it really is a nice tea to drink in the evening. The blue color is a neat touch. Best as a latte.
I feel like I need to try this tea again in order to give it a fair go. It brewed much more quickly than I expected and turned a very dark shade of blue, so I was expecting the flavor to be very strong and it wasn't. It has a pleasant but very light scent as well. I tried adding several squirts of lemon juice, but did not observe any change, so that leads me to wonder how much is required. I could definitely taste what I had added. I added an extra spoonful of sugar to my teapot, expecting the brew to be sour from all the lemon juice, but I should have tasted it beforehand, because the brew was not as strong as I had expected, and it was not really that sour either--so it came out way too sweet and upset my stomach. Most of what I could taste was the sugar, with the more delicate flavors behind when I looked for them--a bit of tartness and some others that I couldn't detect well under the sweetness. I will try again later and not be misled by the color, but if the tea turns out to be one of those that always upsets my stomach, I will be forced to make a gift of it and forgo its coolness.
