Zhejiang Lung Ching Customer Reviews

Pan-firing in a hot wok brings out the classic warm, roasted chestnut notes inherent in the leaf and in this case a hint caramelized sugar and crisp floral essence.

This was a nice light green tea, I prefer oolong tea, so my preference would be to add a little flavor or something to blend with it. My husband enjoyed it a lot as he prefers green tea.

Oh my I can't believe I paid this much for this tea. The smell alone will knock you down. It tasted like grass

I found this to be a very light tea with some grassy notes and a unique sweetness. I'll definitely buy it again.

A very nice green tea. It is pretty expensive for what you get though.

I decided to try this tea in comparison to the general longjin in the standard green teas section. The overall combination of flavors of this dragonwell were not as brisk and accentuated, but they were still present. However, there were two different tastes that were sensational. It had the subtle fruity taste one notices with silver needle white tea, indicating the budding leaves were very early picked in the spring, probably the first picking. There was also a soft sensation on the tongue of something effervescent that I cannot adequately describe but as being 'lively.' Despite the overall flavor not as strong as the general dragonwell, what I was most impressed with was the way it made me feel. uplifted and calmed -- first in my head then overall body. It was not a caffeine effect, but of something else. This I do applaud. The leaves were pressed perfectly and the color of the pressed tea was nearly all uniform with the perfect tanned-green look with only a few bright green throughout. There were a good many broken leaves off the buds after saturation, if one cares about this. I will buy this again at some point or request as a gift from others, even if it is a bit pricey.

This was nice- a good quality dragon well. The taste was nutty and green and not musty or bitter- like some dragon wells can be. But it wasn't overwhelmingly awesome though like some of the other masters class teas. So, just good.

I don't know if it was just me or my water temp or what, but it came out wayyyy to bitter despite using recommended steep time.

tried this for the first time. it's a bit earthy/vegetal in terms of smell and my tastes, but it's not bad.

Smooth and mild, similar to dragonwell (same style), but more refined. Extremely clear and clean.

This higher-grade version of the Dragonwell tea is not 5x better, at least when it comes to price. With that being said, it is very obvious that it is richer, deeper, and more complex when compared side by side.

This tea is smooth and subtle. It does taste a bit like toasted sesame or nuts. It's wonderful, but I don't think it could hold up to a second steep. But either way, it's a great cup of tea.
