This is a great little tea. It is very rich and I really like the vanilla flavor. I definitely recommend this to anyone that likes green tea and/or vanilla.
China green tea with pure vanilla. Smooth and cozy, like warm sugar cookies made with fresh vanilla beans.

This is a great little tea. It is very rich and I really like the vanilla flavor. I definitely recommend this to anyone that likes green tea and/or vanilla.
I am trying this tea for the first time right now... I know i am truly a black tea lover but this is totally different to what I am used to drinking I wanted to try this because of the van
nilla...(Big vanilla fan)and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised I think I would like this more if I added a teaspoon more because I def like my tea a tad bit stronger than usual.. right now I made it with the recommended measurements ...I can taste the vanilla and I did sweeten lighty
ly with the amber crystals..Nice cup to come to after working all day!!
A good flavored tea and I initially didn't think the Sri Lankan green tea would work with it (since it's more fragrant and brisk than its Chinese and Japanese counterparts), but it does! The vanilla does mellow out after steeping, but it's still good.
Green tea with a bit of sweetness. The vanilla scent is much stronger than the taste.
A little milder than I would have wanted, but the vanilla green is a good tea I can drink every day.
This green tea has a mellow sweetness to it that is not overwhelming. It is a very smooth cup and although I need to tweak brewing times, I still love it. Am not wild about greens but I do like this one.
Upgrading my review of this, because it blends well in other teas, but it does always have a slightly fermented flavor that I find a bit sour, even in blends. Still, I feel compelled to keep trying with it. It's in some of my favorite Adagio blends.
I did enjoy this, but I'm afraid that the vanilla flavoring really overwhelmed the green tea. It was hard to get much tea flavor at all.
when you think vanilla and green tea together might be offputting.. in this case its not. nice balance.
im looking for a tea that will make my eyes close with pleasure
I'm on the fence with this one. The vanilla almost tastes artificial and weak and I just can't seem to brew it right, but I'll keep trying.
t first I thought this a strange idea for a green tea flavor, but the vanilla really tempers the bitter bite of the green tea. Very pleasant to drink.
This tea is very good, best green tea I've ever had.
Since vanilla is such a delicate and (to me) boring flavor, I wasn't really expecting much from this one and bought it only to try blending with. Turns out it both smells and tastes like cake batter. I think I'm in love. Much more potential here than I thought there would be, so I'm very glad I finally decided to try this one!
My favorite. It smells as good as it tastes. Excellent choice if this is your first experience with Adagio and you're not sure what to purchase.
Such an interesting tea! It's very sweet and oddly creamy. It reminds me of green tea ice cream!
This was very sweet, with a light, creamy texture. Doesn't need as much sugar as I usually use in tea, which I wish I'd thought to test for before sweetening it! Still, the vanilla flavour tasted lovely and very vanilla bean-y. You don't taste much of the green under it, but it very much plays well with others, and as such is an excellent candidate for blending with other greens.
It was really good but it was a little weak. It requires a bit more tea than I am used to. Great flavor. Would be good to mix with another strong green tea.
this is probably my most favorite tea to blend with.
My favorite green of all time. It's sweet and comforting, and makes for a lovely blend with so many other teas.
At first, I was a bit skeptical when I pondered the idea of a vanilla green tea, but this tea takes the best of both worlds. It smells and tastes of vanilla without being overpowering or seeming synthetic.
Subtle and sweet flavors lacking any bitterness at all. Sugar and honey easily overwhelm this tea, so it's one of the few teas I drink without anything added to it.
My wife and I first had vanilla green tea on our honeymoon and we absolutely loved it. Since then, we have tried several other brands of vanilla green and nothing even came close to the magic in a cup that we had previously experienced. After trying this tea, I can safely say we have found it! A very pleasant, and relaxing cup not bursting with complexity, but rather delighting in its simplicity.
Frankly, I'm not liking this at all. The smell is an overbearing vanilla with no tea smell to speak of. The taste is bland with (what they are calling) vanilla as the only real sense. Really if this is what real vanilla taste like then I want nothing to do with it. $6 wasted.
UPDATE: I just brewed this again using two parts -anavaet- english breakfast and one part vanilla green. MUUUUUCH BETTER. The vanilla accentuates the english breakfast and the green comes through wonderfully.
Pretty good, the vanilla flavor is pretty strong, so if you like that, you'll be happy. The green tea taste is a little on a light side, a bit overpowered. But overall I did enjoy drinking this tea.
A very sweet tea. I never drink with any sugar or sweetener anyway but I doubt this needs any. I was expecting a more artificial cloying vanilla flavor but was pleasantly surprised to get the really natural christmas cookie taste. An enjoyable cup if you don't mind your teas sweet.
I was nervous about this green tea, but it definitely lives up to its name! It tastes like classic green tea with vanilla. Simple, sweet, and delicious.
This tea is very nice and smooth. The green tea flavor was light, subtle and the vanilla was creamy. It is great mixed with other teas! I love it with rhubarb green and any berry tea!
Obviously this is just subjective based on the taste, but for me, the vanilla and tea blended to create somewhat of a smokey fishy flavor with a hint of vanilla that made it oddly unpleasant, though I couldn't say immediately that I hated it. I could drink it, but there are certainly others I would choose before it.
What can I say about this time, other than 'YUM!'? Although I do really like the vanilla black tea, I think the green tea is just the littlest bit tastier. The sweetness of the vanilla really compliments the fresh taste of the green tea!
My daughter just adored this. I am reordering the 4 oz for her.
The vanilla flavor isn't very strong, it's more of a vanilla scent. The green tea itself was tasty, grassy and natural. I liked this tea a lot more when I mixed it in a blend that I am working on :)
This was a gift for a friend. I'm really looking forward to seeing what they think.
The problem I've seen with a handful of vanilla teas is either the vanilla is too strong or the whole flavor profile is just weird. This tea gets it right with a soothing blend of vanilla with a soft green tea taste. Definitely not too strong, and the price is excellent.
This is a truly delicious green tea! Very delicate, with a subtle vanilla flavor, it tastes perfect with a little bit of good honey first thing in the morning.
Very good with cooler water, sugar, and milk to bring out the vanilla. I don't like green but this is nice.
Not as strong as the Vanilla oolong but still warm and inviting <3
This tea initally has a very strong vanilla aroma that mellows as the tea sits. It is a very light bodied tea with just a hint of vanilla taste.
This tea is bizarre, at least to me. When I opened the envelope, all I could smell was a 'fake butter' smell, like in the buttered popcorn flavored jelly beans. I brewed it hot, and now it smells/tastes like vanilla, but the 'buttery' aftertaste is still there. Honestly, I'm not very impressed.
At first I was worried because all I could smell was vanilla when I opened the tea, no smell of tea! After steeping that changed, the vanilla mixed with the green smell of the tea. The tea tastes wonderful! Slightly sweet with mild vanilla and bright green. Definitely a favorite!
This tea is in my top five on this site. So simple but is perfect.
An invigorating grassy flavor, with an excellent vanilla blended flavor. Creates a splendid relaxing smooth calming effect.
A good change up from the rooibos vanilla I normally drink
This tea is wonderfully smooth and needs no additional sweeteners to be delicious and comforting.
This tea is a good example that the smell of the leaves is not a good indication of their taste. In the bag the tea has a strange, overpowering smell that can only be described as 'buttery', but once steeped the vanilla really shines through in an interesting flavor that gently reminds me of buttercream frosting with a vanilla bean. This tea is absolutely delicious to me on its own even though it's a bit subtle, but it seems like a great mix idea for any bakery, cake, or frosting-related blends.
A fairly standard green tea blend, though the the vanilla was a bit lost in the mix.
Very creamy and comforting addition with the vanilla to the green tea. Yum!
I didn't love it, but I also didn't hate it. It's a good all-around green tea.
Such an interesting flavor and totally wonderful smell. I really liked how gentle and full the tea tasted without even being really heavily steeped. The aftertaste was superb and I could've sipped on this tea all night!
a fantastic vanilla aroma and flavor that isn't the least bit chemical or artificial. great!
