I tried this on a whim...and because who can turn down a free sample? The vanilla is a little overwhelming in scent if you aren't prepared for it. Definitely a good basic tea, if you're wanting something simple.

★★★★☆

Way better than the other vanilla teas Adagio has. I prefer it in blends though. It's great with some Earl Grey Green

Not really my thing because green is not really my thing. I bet it's great for those who love green teas.

This tea was... Disappointing. It still tasted good though. But it tasted like cookie dough, not vanilla. Add in a dash of sugar and this was some very tasty tea!

Just don't go expecting vanilla ice cream flavor. You're getting cookie dough.

We drink this every morning! It is very delicious and tastes wonderful!

★★★☆☆

The sample I got was a bit weak in the vanilla part, but it was something I'd buy again. Very tasty!

★★★★☆

This was another one of my baby sister choices. She hasn't tried it but believe me the way I have both my sisters drinking tea. She's goine to love it.

★★★★★

The vanilla really comes out in this tea. It's like drinking sugar cookies. I really enjoy it.

★★★★★

I love this tea! It's light and refreshing with enough vanilla to really create a great flavor!

★★☆☆☆

I think that this one was pretty weak on flavor.

★★★★★

The vanilla flavor really comes though. Nice hot or cold.

★★★★☆

Very nice and refreshing tea. The vanilla flavor is great and not overpowering.

★★★★☆

It is a good tea. Having had the vanilla black tea and finding the black tea to be very powerful this is a nicer, more subtle vanilla tea. I wish there were some vanilla beans in here rather than just vanilla flavoring but overall it's a good tea and I would order it again if I'm looking for something to round out a free shipping order. I can't speak for adding sugar/milk because I drink it black but I can see it not tasting very well with add-ins.

★★★★★

My new favorite! Subtle vanilla flavor is perfect.

A great flavor on its own, but also great to mix in with other teas (I recommend the cocomint green)

Love that flavor as for green tea , relaxing ... thank you !

★★★☆☆

Pretty mild, but I don't like too much overpowering flavor in my teas.

★★★★★

A very smooth tasting tea with a soothing aroma. I enjoy it with a dab of honey. Resteeps fine, though I add a minute to 3rd steeping.

When I first opened the bag, the smell of this was pure heaven. My spouse is not a tea drinker, but he couldn't stop smelling it.

I sweetened the cup with some of the rock sugar I purchased from adagio. It's wonderful.

This blend feels like a classic film, simple, beautiful, gentle and delicious. A favourite for sure.

I've had this tea in my cupboard for a good while and just hadn't gotten around to it. I wish I had tried it sooner!

I made it iced, as it's still blazingly hot here in the ATL. The leaves are very fragrant, smelling sweet and almost marshmallowy. I can tell it's the same vanilla Adagio uses in their black vanilla tea, as well as their Earl Grey cremes. As far as the actual green tea goes, it's low-to-mid-grade sencha. Flat and dark green, with almost no whole pieces.

It brews up to a pale greenish yellow, as one would expect. The flavor is deliciously soft, creamy vanilla. However, it completely mutes the actual tea aspect. I know a lot of you would see this as a bad thing. I can't say that I don't exactly, but I'm really not a fan of green teas in the first place. I just never really developed the pallate. Also, I'm pretty crazy about vanilla, so... yeah. I like it! I'm glad I have it. It's like a dessert without the calories and I could see myself getting it again.

Typical green tea with a slight hint of vanilla. Wish it was slightly stronger though.

★★★★☆

Drink this tea if you like vanilla green tea. If you don't, whatever. It's not my problem. PEACE.

★★★★☆

Smells almost like frosting! I doesn't taste like frosting though, the vanilla taste is great- not weak, but not overwhelming.

★★★★☆

I enjoy the taste of vanilla so this is a welcome variety to the tea selection.

I'm a fan of the subtle vanilla flavor of the vanilla oolong, so this one *scared* me. In the bag, it smells exactly like vanilla buttercream frosting and that isn't exactly a compliment. It smelled overly sweet, there was really nothing 'tea' left about it. Luckily, (like the Almond oolong which smells overwhelmingly of almond extract) both the smell and tasted were lovely after steeping. The tea is smooth and has a sort of back-of-the-tongue feeling of vanilla, but it's nowhere near as horrifically sweet as it smells pre-steeping.

★★★★★

I'm usually a pure green tea drinker. I love the earthy smell and flavor of a good green tea. I got a sample of the vanilla green tea to just try and although just green tea is still my favorite, this vanilla green tea is really tasty! Even my husband, that does not really like green tea, will drink this one. It really does taste like vanilla green tea. If you like vanilla and like green tea, this is a must.

★★★★★

This tea has just a subtle hint of warming vanilla. Not overpowering at all. A great tea!

★★★★☆

The vanilla grounds this nice green tea, and it combines sweet and savory tastes

★★★★★

This is my fevorite tea. I used for my customer. They said great tea and I recommend these for them.

★★★★☆

This is a nice option for the days when you just need a little PM pick-me-up but don't need a full dose of black tea. I'll admit I was a skeptic, but was pleasantly surprised. The vanilla blends nicely with the green and is a good overall experience.

★★★★☆

A soft, light green tea with just a hint of sweetness.

It's almost like drinking a sugar-covered matcha cookie that's been dissolved in water.

Wonderfully calming with a soft scent that would be ideal for candles. *hinthint*

A lovely cup to relax with for a netflix binge or readathon. I recommend brewing a decent-sized pot because you'll definitely be wanting more.

Soothing and mild tea. Vanilla flavor is subtle and compliments the green tea nicely. I drink this almost everyday before work!

★★★★☆

It's vanilla green tea, two of my favorite things, I fully intend to buy more.

★★★★★

One of my favorites for basic tasty mixers. Good with fruit and some mint teas.

★★★★★

All time favorite tea! I bring this to restaurants and on vacations with me. Our family enjoyed our Vanilla Green all across Europe this summer. The teabags come in such a convenient pouch, I carry this flavor with me all the time, in my purse. YUM!

★★★★★

we loved this one! great vanilla flavor but nothing over powering. already ordered more!

★★★★★

Have been trying for years to get my husband to drink green tea - this is the one he loves - only one he will drink.

★★★★★

I originally got a sample of this in an effort to get my younger brother into drinking tea, but I wound up loving this. It's very smooth and smells amazing.

★★★★★

I love green tea and this vanilla is very refreshing.

★★★★☆

I have several of the other greens (Cherry and apricot) and this one was good but not quick as flavorful as the Cherry Green.

★★★★★

This tea has a beautifully subtle vanilla flavor. It is also the first Adagio green variety that I've purchased and I will definitely order it again.

★★★★★

This is one of my favorite teas. It tastes like green tea cake. It's a bit heavy on the vanilla, but still great.

★★★★☆

A nice green tea, not too grassy, with a really lovely light vanilla scent and flavor.

It tasted how I expected it to taste. I had citron green before this and it tasted like that except it was vanilla. I liked citron green more, the taste of what I assume to be green tea went better with citrus than it did with vanilla. This probably won't help anyone who hasn't had citron green, even less if this is your first green tea. Well, that's the best I can do, I don't know how else to describe it. This tea was good.

*Used Adagio's steeping directions

★★★★★

Excellent mild green tea with the sweetness of vanilla.

★★★★☆

Normally I don't like flavored teas but vanilla is my favorite flavor so this wasn't bad!

★★★★★

excellent tea, love the taste and smell, very smooth

★★★★☆

As much as I want to, I am still not a big fan of green tea. But this was very good.
