Lacks vanilla flavor, tastes grassy and typical of most green teas. Need to use a lot of leaves to get full flavor. Not recommended.
China green tea with pure vanilla. Smooth and cozy, like warm sugar cookies made with fresh vanilla beans.

nice smooth vanilla taste, not overbearing, good tea for breakfast
I really enjoy making sweet iced tea with this tea.
Well balanced blend. I love the balance that the vanilla brings to this delightful green.
I like this tea as an iced green. The green tea used as the base for this blend had been pretty consistent in quality, taste and color for the many years I've ordered it but I have noticed some variation with the vanilla. I've had some batches that the vanilla was barely detectable and others where it was strongly present. I prefer it to be strongly tastable for my ice tea.
A basic green tea with just the right amount of vanilla flavor to elevate it to greatness. If you like vanilla, this is worth trying.
suuuuper smooth. really nice finish. no bitterness. my biggest problem is what to order now...I cant decide between all the great flavors.
Vanlla green is good, but I dont think the vanilla flavor standsout like the fruity blends. You just get a hint of vanilla.
I love this tea. I'm a sucker for anything with vanilla or creamy notes and this one definitely fits the bill. It's a very light, comforting, and refreshing tea. I drink green tea every morning and this is frequently the one I choose for my cup.
Very sweet, would probably make a great iced tea to serve with treats.
Awesome smell, and I liked how it was a nice, light flavor.
Thought I would love this, as I love vanilla. But it turns out that vanilla and green tea don't combine so well.
It's not bad, but the vanilla flavor greatly overpowers everything else I tried to mix with it. Even by itself, it just taste like vanilla. Not bad, but it's 'not my cup of tea.'
One of my favorite teas mixed with some matcha in the morning!
This was a confusing flavor for me. I chose it because I wanted something sweet but the grassy flavor just doesn't mix with it well enough to satisfy a sweet tooth. Adding honey didn't help. But the vanilla flavor doesn't allow it to be a savory tea either. With so many great flavors offered by Adagio, I will probably not re-order this one. But I am glad I tried it.
Green teas usually strike me as 'grassy', but not this one. If you like vanilla, you'll like this tea. I prefer spicier teas, so I'll probably be mixing it up with others.
I love the vanilla black tea and decided I wanted to try the green tea version. I was not disappointed. Tasted great!
If you are new to green tea, it is best to try a flavored one. This is smooth with no bitter after taste. A perfect blend!
My friend recommended the vanilla green to me for Christmas time, because--and it sure does--it tastes like sugar cookies!
Very interesting flavor. The vanilla is certainly dominant. Great for people who love vanilla flavor.
Oh my gosh! This is one of my favorite. Sometimes I just want a tea with a little flavor, not too strong. I could drink this every day!
Usually vanillas are too artificial or strong, but this was very nice.
I got this for a friend and they raved about it. Just the perfect combination of vanilla flavor without being overpowering.
really like this BUT wish the vanilla was stronger...
This is the best afternoon pick me up in the entire history of the universe.
I'm not much of a straight green tea fan, and I generally prefer flavored blacks, oolongs, or whites over flavored greens. I love vanilla teas, though, so when Adagio stuck a sample of this one in my cart, I was happy to try it. This is a nice, light tea, with a lovely vanilla aroma and plenty of vanilla flavor. Good for when I'm not in the mood for one of the other kinds of vanilla tea. I'll probably get this again.
Well... it wasn't bad, exactly, but it didnt taste of vanilla very much. As green tea, even, it was fairly bland. I tried steeping it different times with little change to that result. In the future I think I will just take some plain green tea and combine it with some of Adagio's vanilla black tea instead.
Vanilla green is another tea that just the vanilla flavor works perfect and the tea makes me feel good afterwords.
Smells very similar to pipe tobacco when the bag is first opened, but the vanilla notes come through when brewed.
Update: I've been buying this tea in bulk the past 2 times I've bought tea. Great way to wake up in the morning.
This is a green tea for those who don't really like green teas. The grassy flavor that I usually associate with green tea is very mild, and the vanilla note carries it through.
Light and fresh tasting, the perfect mixture to enjoy before bed!
When I first opened this tea, I thought, 'Ooh goodie!' because it smelled quite a lot like Adagio's Rooibos Vanilla. A lot of times I have tried vanilla-flavored teas that just didn't smell or, more importantly, taste vanilla-y enough. I'm very selective with green tea. I can count on one hand how many blends I've actually enjoyed, and this is one of them. I find it both comforting and refreshing. It's not weak--you can definitely tell it's green tea--but it's not bitter or overly vegetable either.
Vanilla Green is one of my favorite teas from Adagio. It has a deep green tea flavor and the vanilla compliments it nicely.
Subtle vanilla taste that is sure to excite! I think it is a perfect balance of vanilla taste!
Very nice vanilla flavor. We had some plain and then we mixed some with the chocolate tea. Both ways were delicious.
Awesome vanilla flavor. Sweet and light, like cookies (but with less calories and all the benefits of green tea!).
Another reviewer stated that this has a 'Marshmallow-y' flavor. I would agree, however, that's not a bad thing! I love this tea. I purchased a 3 oz bag, however, next time, I will be purchasing a pound. So far, this is my very favorite Adagio tea.
This has a great vanilla flavor to it. I like it on it's own but I think I would love it as an added flavor to a blended tea.
It has a perfect subtle amount of vanilla. I usually don't like vanilla flavored teas but this is my favorite tea on this site!
It tastes like vanilla cookies and is very yummy. *
Vanilla green tastes like sugar cookies, but strangely adding sugar seemed to ruin it for me. On its own it is a very delicious tea.
Very delicious, the vanilla was not overpowering.
Vanilla green is a great tea on its own or blended with other teas. Can't go wrong with this one!
never thought about vanilla with grean tea but it tastes just like green tea with vanilla. great taste!
I got this as my complementary sample after making my last order, and I'm absolutely thrilled with it--even more than some of the teas I paid for! I love vanilla of any type, and this tea smells and tastes fantastic.
A good mild tea for a cold morning. The vanilla overpowers the green tea, but it's a creamy vanilla versus a complex vanilla. I sometimes mix this with a green that is more astringent.
great vanilla scent but the tea is a bit on the weak side. however on a cold winter morning, it brings a sense of calm before the hectic morning rush
taste of vanilla green was awesome I can get enough of the this tea flavor
This tea is very smooth. Definitely a one or two cup at a time tea, as the vanilla has the potential to be overpowering. I have not tried it iced but I think that it would make a lovely summer time iced tea.
I was a little nervous trying this tea because I like the fruity flavors. But this tea was amazing! I had it iced and absolutely loved it. Would be great mixed with strawberry, for a strawberry cream flavor! Yum!
