This is a wonderful green tea. Light caffeine as I 'try' to get off coffee and a great way to prevent headaches naturally. My spouse gets migraines and Sleeping Dragon wards off the oncome without jitters.

This tea has a strong but smooth green tea flavor. On the earthy side. What you would expect from a gunpowder variety. It's best for those tired mornings where you need that lift off and coffee is nowhere in sight. I feel less hungry and more energized on this tea. It's really good for buckling down and focusing too. I originally tried this as a sample, ended up buying the big bag. Pleasant surprise.
Smelled grassy and fragrant upon opening the packet. Brews to a straw color. Expands like other rolled style leaves. Not much aroma. Flavor has a faint aroma of--not fishy-- but roasted fish. 2.5

Big green tea fan and I'm happy to have this in my pantry, It is a smooth and bitter green tea, and while good by itself this tea is also just as good with added fruit or mixed with another type of tea for those who find it a bit too bitter.
This has a nice smoky taste that I like in a green tea. Just a little grassy flavor toward the end but definitely worth a second steep.

I like to brew in a more westernized Gongfu style. I start with 30 sec @180/185. Then add 15-30 seconds for each subsequent brew up to about 4-6 brews. Each brew reveals something new and interesting. The first brew is bright and floral, with great green herbal notes. Each brew grows more and more mineraly and vegetal to the point of boiled greens. I keep this a round as a nice all round afternoon green tea.
A standard-tasting green tea, this is my go-to tea for an evening of playing Dungeons & Dragons, since it has a little caffeine but not a lot, and because dragons. If you like green tea, this one’s fun.
I've tried a bunch of green teas from Adagio and this one is my favorite. Probably not for someone who likes a real strong/smoky tea, but for a light one this is perfect.
I personally am not a huge fan of this tea because it was very strong and smoky and I had to water it down a lot to be able to handle the flavor, but I feel like people who do enjoy that strong flavor would enjoy this. I guess it’s just not my cup of tea lol

This was unique. Very smooth and interesting taste.
Pretty much spot on to the description. The first thing that really hit me about this one is the smoky aroma. The flavor is milder than I expected, without any of the herbal biting notes of other green teas I ve tried. There s a very smooth grain flavor to this, with a peppery/smoky aftertaste that lingers.

Sleeping Dragon's flavor profile reminds me of a lighter version Sencha. To me, Japanese Sencha is rich, heavy, and sometimes brothy, while Sleeping Dragon is light, clean, and refreshing (with just a touch of umami). Similar flavor, but different intensity and finish. I thoroughly enjoy them both - and choose which to drink according to my mood.

I love this tea. I first started my tea journey years ago with gunpowder and thought it was too smokey and strong, but still drank it. This is much smoother.

This tea has a mellow warmth that is especially comforting. Not as crisp or grassy as other greens, but great depth of flavor nevertheless.

A lovely tea to be sure. However not necessary something I personally prefer. The grassy notes are definitely the high light of this tea with soft undernotes of sweetness. Would be great for when you just want something calm and not over the top.
