Absolutely delightful green tea. Smoky... and perhaps a touch sweet? I have only tried it a handful of times, sadly my gaiwan broke, but I will be back to update! Will most definitely be buying again however.
It was a little to mild for my taste. Very mild with no grassy over tones.

This is my first Chinese green tea, and I really like it. Light and mellow but with a little bit of smoky flavor to make it unique. Would absolutely recommend!

A light and refreshing green tea. It's a little on the grassy side for me but still good. I usually throw in a pearl or two of jasmine tea to offset the strong green smell.
I love that this tea is pretty mellow but has a light hint of bitterness that you find in gunpowder (my favorite). The lightness makes it nice for sipping in the afternoon!

This tea has a delicate smokey undertone, it isn't overpowering. This is a fairly simple tea, light colour and flavour with a light grassy odor. This is a good every day tea.
This is...interesting. I picked it as a sample without know what was in it. The smell is nice, flavor is mellow and the smokiness is like embers dying in your mouth. Green tea isn't really my thing, but this makes a decent case for it. I don't think I would go out of my way to buy it, but I'll certainly finish the sample and I wouldn't say no to a cup passed my way.
Very mild flavor. I like drinking it in the evenings when I don't want too much caffeine.
If you like the Gunpowder tea, this is very similar.

not a bad tea. opening it up it smelled very grassy and i was afraid I wouldn't like it but it's not grassy at all. I added 1 packet of splenda to an 8oz cup. It's very fresh but a little weak. I think I should brew it stronger. I didn't taste the smokiness described. Over all a very traditional green tea.

Not as good as I was hoping for. I'm used to really potent gunpowder and this just seemed like a tame version of that.
I got this with the Gunpowder tea, this is a more mild version, but at the same time has some more noticeable flavors. If you're not a fan of bitter or earthy green teas this would probably be a great green tea for you.
This is one of my favorite green teas from Adagio. It definitely reminded me of rich, clean grass, but in a good way...very flavorful. I would typically drink this at night before bed, simply because it was a heavier green tea (in my opinion), with a slightly dry finish, and would help me sleep a little better. I love the smell, and with a little bit of honey it tasted perfect.
The flavor was far too subtle for me. I could barely taste the tea at all. It did have a nice aroma, however.
I got a free sample of this. It tastes exactly the same as gunpowder. It's good but nothing special or unique.
Not gonna lie, I bought it because of the name, but it tastes delicious! A slightly bitter gunpowder-type taste balances the earthy flavor of the green.
Sleeping Dragon is pure green tea. It is so fun to watch the bundles of leaves unfold as the tea steeps.
This was a really nice green. Had a vegetal, smoky taste upfront, gradually turning into a sweet fruitiness. Not the most delicate of teas, but absolutely something that is worth drinking with consideration. The leaves themselves were very beautiful, and displayed the care put into the harvesting and processing.
As most teas I drink, this was good over multiple infusions. I did two minutes and three minutes at 185F.
If you've had Gunpowder before this is going to taste very similar. Stronger smoky flavor with subtle fruity taste. Overall an excellent choice if you need something that does not taste as green.

This is a wonderful green tea! Nice and delicate with some lovely sweet notes. The smokiness is not as apparent as with gunpowder, but definitely still there. It has a smooth mouthfeel and goes down almost too easily, lol. My sample is already gone - might have to get a larger size next time!
This is a savory green tea with a lot of flavor. As usual, the tea is excellent quality.
This tea is just kind of okay... it isn't bad, it just isn't memorable like other loose leaf green tea. If you were served this tea at a gathering, you wouldn'the refuse a second cup, but neither would you go out of your way to ask for one.

I'm not much of a green tea character, and overall the flavor isn't something that I'm into- but the description is correct.
So it gets a great for being pretty much exactly as advertised.
Sweet flavor. Nice and smooth. Enjoyed it for a morning tea.
I brew in a french press at 180 for 2 1/2 minutes. This is a much milder tea than the gunpowder which is both a benefit and a detriment. It's great on the first steeping but loses its flavor earlier than the gunpowder. I also like to add a touch of spearmint leaves and this is a great cup of tea.
My new fave green tea! The first thing I noticed about this tea was that it smelled delicious and looked beautiful, so I had high expectations for a cup - and they were definitely met! It's not overly smokey like some green teas are. Reminds me of gunpowder but without that taste, which is good because I like a little smokey but I don't like too much :)
It's a very good quality green tea. Very easy to drink, smooth, with a grassy and woody taste. In the very best of ways, it was much like laying face first in a field.
The huge leaves unfurled quickly and were beautiful in my clear teapot. I usually do not care for green tea, but I found this pleasant. A little bit smoky and once it cooled some, a buttery taste. I added some Splenda.

It is similar to Gunpowder as others have mentioned, but less good in my opinion. It really is not a bad tea at all, but I think I would just get Gunpowder if that is the flavor profile I'm going for.
This is a very full bodied tea and care must be taken with steeping time as it bitters very fast. However if steeped for only 2 minutes it is extremely flavorful and smooth.
It took a few attempts to brew this right. The smokey bitterness can get overwhelming fast. It goes really well when paired with some fruity flavors to mellow it out.
I've noticed that if you brew too long it almost gets a little bit of a salty-seaweed flavor. I definitely recommend watching your steep time and temp.
But when brewed to perfection - it's a great green tea.
