The first green i have ever had and it is spectacular. I like to make it in the mornings before school because i dont have to heat the water as much and it only takes 3 min to brew.
Classic steamed tea from Shizuoka, Japan. Rich, brothy texture (when steeped as strongly as you might find in Japan), refreshing aroma. Rounded finish that coats the palate, sweet flavor reminiscent of tender steamed veggies and fresh seaweed.

I tried this tea from a friend's recommendation-- it is wonderful for every day. Very refreshing.
Great for everyday. The best value in this price range.
All of the green teas that I have tasted are excellent. Senccha is supreme
Fantastic!!!
A must-have for any green-tea afficianado. Good flavour, easy to brew. Goes great with meals or by itself.
A great mid-range green tea. Not too strong, not too light.
It is a mild green tea but I guess I'm finding I'm a black tea fan. Good for everyday.
Great Japanese green! I must have more.
Very tasty, but gets quite bitter if oversteeped.
A good sencha for everyday. Can get slightly bitter on an overbrew.
Very strong taste and aroma. It took some getting used to, but I now like it very much.
This is a really nice sencha--strong and green with that just-cut-the-grass aroma and flavor, but not a trace of bitterness. A very soothing and uplifting tea at a great price! Recommended.
Love the taste, but at the same time, love the aroma as much. I found as much pleasure "sniffing" the tea as I did drinking it. It is an all around sensory experience!
If you enjoy green tea, this is it. First time I tried it and I loved it. I was amazed by how green the leaves actually are. This is onesmooth tea.
One of my favorite green teas. Great anytime of the day. I have a cup at work almost daily.
Solid. Dependable. Great for everyday infusions.
Very nice, clean, grassy flavor. Not something I'd drink everyday, but is really nice after Yoga.
tastes ok, but too much gets thru the filter, the dragonwell is better
i've just enjoyed my first cup of sencha overture this morning, and it is divine, and gentle! wow!
A good basic green tea...nice color, grassy flavor. Best analogy is to compare it to a basic red table wine...good, solid, dependable, suitable for everyday used.
Ok - good for an average green.
This is a good green tea with a spinch like aftertase
One of my favorite teas. :)
A fine good spinachy sencha that won't let you down. Not as pronounced a vegetative taste as some. Don't overbrew and drink this one hot, it loses its character when it cools down.
I like this one because it has a very suttle taste
solid green tea. will buy more when I run out
Very delicate taste. This might be my favorite green tea.
Overall a good tea for the price. A solid after-meal cleansing taste. Grassy odor might turn off black tea drinkers, but is quite welcoming for long time green tea drinkers. Definitely worth a try.
Excellent! Wonderful grassy taste. Excellent tea to start with if you're not familiar with the different varieties of tea.
A rather light flavor with a sort of grassy smell. It tastes better than anything you can buy at your local grocery store, but nothing ground breaking.
A Very good, not quite great standard green tea. Just like you guys said!
This is a nice Japanese green tea. It's easy to drink, but not particularly special.
Relative to my green tea standard (a gyokuro from another retailer) I rate this sencha somewhere between bad & ok. A little to "veggee" in aroma & taste.
Nice green tea, especially for the price, although the taste is a bit too neutral for me.
YUMMY...I like this one
wont use as often as other
I really do like this!
A very subtle green tea. I enjoy this in the evenings.
This is the one non-flavored tea I like - it has a rich flavor all its own.
Good taste.
It's good iced, too.
A common yet uncommon tea. Great in the morning or as part of a midday repast.
I love this tea, when I think of green tea this the flavor that I think of.
nice green- use also as an extender by adding to Genmai Cha.
One of the better ones I've had, but not top of the line.
This tea has a nice bright flavor.
As a seasoned Japanese-American sencha drinker, I found this sencha surprisingly good.
My sister-in-law loves this tea. It reminds her of tea she drank in Japan
I like this tea and it is a good one to mix with White A'Cappella.
