This tea is ok. It's drinkable for me, when many greens are not (not a fan of the grassy flavor). However, this was much lighter than I'd like for a fruit tea. If I'm reaching for an adagio raspberry, my choice remains Decaf Raspberry!
Fresh China green tea with playful raspberry. Candy aroma, jammy flavor, slightly dry and not too 'cheeky.'

First, I love green tea and start each day with a cuppa Matcha so the green tea in the Raspberry Green Tea was a delight for me. And the Raspberry flavoring was an added plus in my book. This is definitely a tea I will buy. I steeped the tea at 195 in my tea traveler (Grandpa Style) This combination did not get astringent as quickly as some green teas do. I am thinking this would be an outstandingly refreshing iced tea.
This is a lovely green tea, with a whisper of raspberry flavor. I like it better iced, than hot. I just wish it had a little more raspberry flavor to it.
This earns the highest compliment I can give a CommuniTEA sample: I'm wondering why I don't own this already. Adagio's great green tea base, paired with plenty of strong raspberry flavor. I oversteeped this one by accident and there isn't even a trace of bitterness, which is incredible given how easily raspberry leaves turn bitter. A full-sized bag of this is going in with my next order for sure!
Update March '22: still wouldn't put this amongst my faves for green tea but did move from 3 to 4 stars. A light green with a touch of rasberry flavor that develops on the palette after each sip.
Original: The mix of ingredients in the communiTea packets must have been really variable today as the chat reviews have been all over in terms of raspberry flavor or not. For me, my packet held a couple of rose petals and narry a raspberry in sight but there was a scent of raspberry making me fondly think of summer. There was a light hint of berry when tasting the tea hot that faded for me when tasted cold. Not a memorable tea for me... even if I now have a certain Prince song stuck in my head thanks to my lovely sister's review.
A solid green tea with a mild raspberry flavor. That fruit flavor is there, but I really wish it were more pronounced- I'd have this on re-order if it was! As the brew cools, the rose can be detected as well, but again it's very subtle. I added a little sugar to this one, and that def helps the raspberry flavor come through. 3 mins @ 180°F
This sip is full of sweet, fruity, and vegetal flavors. These fade into a dreamy, sugary aftertaste with raspberry prickles on the tongue. Raspberry flavors are present, but very mild - this tastes more like a green with a generic, mellow sweetness.
Today's CT packet is bright, spring greens with bright red raspberries, and smells wonderfully fruity and fresh! I wish I'd thought ahead to cold brew this tea, but alas, into the hot water it goes!
While I lack for green tea honey, I did add some fruit tisane honey in hopes of honoring those lovely berries I spied in the packet. They seemed to appreciate the substitution, as there was no punishing over-tartness that some raspberry teas can bring to the cup - but they were still a bit more reserved with their overall flavor than I would have liked. That being said, it's still a lovely tea - light, fruity, and neither tart nor grassy. It makes for a gentle way to start the morning, and I suspect it's doubly nice on a warm afternoon over ice. I'll definitely report back once I know for sure!
(3min @ 180°F, w/fruit tisane honey)
CommuniTEA 3/16/22: delightful morning cup. Spinach/vegetal taste with a hint of berry. Perfect with my morning ramen and miso tofu. Not much berry flavor compared to the smell of the dry leaves, but I like the tea!
180° for 2:20 min
There is nothing wrong with this tea, but there's nothing noteworthy about it either. It's not bitter or astringent (at least when brewed at 175F), which is nice. It's just so mild (delicate?) that I'd have to call it bland.
My first steep was hot, my second cold. This is so much better cold since the raspberry flavor pops out more.
Today I cold brewed the tea on the counter for 4 hours and then added ice. Yummy!! The flavor was still delicate but stronger than the last time I had this tea hot. It would be excellent to have while working outside on a hot day. Refreshing and hydrating tea.
last review:Really nice delicate tea. 160° 3 mins. Lovely raspberry scent and a tangy hint of raspberry in the taste. Very light smooth refreshing green tea.
My communiTea packet appeared to only have one tiny piece of raspberry, so the raspberry was pretty weak. But still it's there, and raspberry is my favorite, and I also love the toasty nutty flavors of green tea. This one is an easy 5 stars for me! I'd love to taste this again with a bit more of the raspberry in my cup
Unfortunately not my cuppa tea. Sure does smell good but the flavors did not translate into my cup. Added sweetener which did help carry more of the raspberry forward. This blend was just a bit off to me. The green tea failed to give enough flavor, the rose sits in the back ground while the raspberry tickles the nose - nothing stands out enough to finish this cup.
I love raspberry and I love green tea, but I was left wishing for more of the raspberry taste...good, but not great.
Initially I wasn't particularly impressed by this tea. However, after returning from a distraction and taking the last few sips of my now cold mug the flavor was much improved. The raspberry flavor went from being a little bitter and cloying to sweet and smooth; while I wouldn't recommend this hot, this would make a crisp and refreshing iced drink.
I love green teas and this had a very nice subtle raspberry flavor this morning as well. I could see this being good iced, there's no awful tangyness like some raspberry teas can get. I was left wanting more, add it to my wish list, add it to my next order, add it to my regular rotation of daily beverages!
CommuniTEA portion: The green tea base was lovely but the raspberry and rose just didn't do it for me for some reason. Would love to give this another chance iced though!
Update,,, 3/16/22
I steeped the tea today at 176 for three minutes. The raspberry was much more mild and not as fake tasting. It was a smooth and delicious cup of green tea
I like green tea, but this had a little bit of an unnatural fruit finish. I wasn’t a fan
This was far more green than raspberry. I think cold brewed it would be an excellent.
When I see a green tea packet my head usually says “UGH” but I know I’ll still take a sip or two!! This one however o drank the whole cup and wanted more!!
Very pleasant tea, and I’m not normally a fan of green teas. The raspberry and the green tea compliment each other very nicely though, giving a mild and refreshing taste.
I enjoyed the tea but wished the raspberry flavor was stronger.
Love this one, especially iced. Just the right amount of raspberry.
The taste is just perfect. I love all blends of green teas so far this is one of my favorites but can’t wait to try new ones.
Pretty good. Nice flavor. I appreciate flavorful greens. This can become bitter/acidic after tea bag remains for too long.
The combination with raspberry and green tea is done very well. This might be a good starter green tea because there is no strong grassy green flavor. What is present, just accentuates the sweet berry taste.
@adagioteas
This is a superb green tea for my afternoons...with a mellow taste from the raspberry. Perfectly balanced in flavour.
A lovely green tea with a hint of raspberry! I feel so spoiled!
A very nice green tea with a hint of raspberry to it. Make sure to not over-steep though as it will become very bitter
not what i was expecting, in glad there are sample sizes so i can try new teas before really investing
very mellow raspberry taste. i enjoy my green teas a little more than black ones. still one of my favorite
Y’all…this tea was everything I hoped it would be and more! I used to drink a similar green tea from Teavana and it was one of my favorites. I was hoping this would be an equal replacement but it’s even better. I will be reordering this one frequently I’m sure!
I got this tea and was excited to try it since the flavor combination sounded good. I opened the package and an artificial smell of raspberry was pretty overpowering. I cold brewed it overnight in the fridge and the raspberry flavoring was pervasive throughout the tea. It tastes like raspberry flavored medicine. There wasn't any bitterness but the flavor... I drank about a cup of my pitcher before throwing away the rest. I'll probably toss the entire package. Just really gross. [UPDATE] I tried it again brewed warm and it was mostly alright, but still a bit artificial. Not a big fan.
This really hit the spot. The green and the raspberry blend well together.
A nice blend of tea & raspberry. I add some Raspberry Patch for an extra punch of fruit flavor.
This is the first time I tried this tea. My 8 yr. old grand daughter loves it and her mother asked me to order it for her. After trying a cup, I do like it but will need to add to the review when I get some to keep on hand.
Very nice tea that has a great Raspberry taste I really like this tea
Officially my favorite green tea flavor I am hooked on this
Refreshing green tea with real raspberry flavor. I do wish it had raspberry leaves as well as the fruit to help with cramps.
This is a favorite with my kids and I. I bought a sampler and it's definite reorder for us.
I'm not the biggest fan of green tea just yet, but this one has a nice raspberry flourish that I quite enjoy.
One of my favorite greens! Light raspberry flavor results in a light tasting tea. I do steep it a bit longer than 3 mins. But highly recommend.
Yummy green tea for hot days, balmy nights instead of coffee, i love relaxing with fresh green tea.
Very strong raspberry taste, and I LOVE that! This is great when no syrups are needed for taste!
Provides a good sip of jammy fruit taste when you have the itch for it. Quality tea!
This could use a bump up on the raspberry - I got more 'leaf' than 'berry' in the blend.
Nice flavor, but could use more raspberry in my opinion.
Green tea is my favorite and the raspberry green is excellent. The flavor is strong but not overpowering. I drink it iced with no sweetener, and it is very refreshing on a hot day.
Sweet and tangy with a touch of raspberry flavor. It's good hot or iced. It is delicate with slight floral notes. The smell is a little strong and artificial for my taste, but the tea itself is quite nice.
