I personally do not love this tea but can tell it is good quality
Green tea from Jiangsu, China. Made from the finest tender buds, hand-plucked and rolled. Perfumy and sweet floral, with a full body and slightly earthy and savory quality. Lingering, aromatic finish and delicate floral-smoky note.

I personally do not love this tea but can tell it is good quality
The first cup I made was very good, with a surprising smoky finish. However, I found that the tea is easily overwhelmed by too-hot water, so be careful when brewing.
I got it in the mail and it smelled like rotting fish. After I brewed it I tried it. There was a slight nutty taste but the taste of leathery-fish was too overpowering. I threw the rest out/couldnt finish it.
Wasn't my cup of tea. But if you like a strong smoky flavor, this one might be for you.
This is a very good tea. Adagio's description of floral smokey is spot on, and it's a very interesting flavor.
A bit astringent at 2min, I prefer 3min - then floral, sweet and full
This tea tastes like a walk through a pine forest. Not an everyday tea, but good for a change of pace. It becomes more floral as it cools. It is mild but has a dry aftertaste.
Always my go to green tea for its famous vegetal taste, sans the typical green tea bitterness.
A good tea, just not really my favorite. Nice and aromatic
Little flavor and little color, even after steeping for several hours.
This is a nice medium green tea. Not to astringent and not too mild either. Best hot but makes a nice cold brew as well. I prefer no sweetener.
Intense smoky white tea... a must of you're also a fan of gunpowder green tea.
This was a hearty green tea, with a hint of dryness and earth tones at the end. The flavor was not too overpowering. It is a good neutral choice.
Smell is very smokey. Taste replicates the smell along with a slight sweetness. Very smooth. No dry afternote at all.
The dry leaves smell wonderful, and the brew smells and tastes just as good.
Nice flavor with lovely light buttery smoothness. After a short brew of less than 2 minutes, it was rather bitter with an astringent dry mouth feel, so it's not my favorite tea so far. I'll try adjusting the brew time and temp and see what happens.
Has become a favorite green tea of mine. Very pale liquid, but has lots of flavor. A little fruity, buttery, smokey.
This tea is a little grassy for my taste. If you like vegetal teas, this is for you.
Others have talked about Pi Lo Chun being smokey and even tasting of smoked salmon. And that's exactly it with this tea. I couldn't put my finger on the aroma and taste until I read other reviews. However, this is NOT fishy. Just a very different tasting green tea from others I've tried.I accidentally steeped a little too long (about 4 minutes), but not so bad. It wasn't bitter. Second steeping a little shorter and you do get some of the floral qualities of this tea. Very interesting and unique for green.
This is a lovely tea, but. But. I'm not a fan of smokey teas, and had hoped this would be an exception. It wasn't, alas. I'll drink through the sample, but probably won't get more.
This isn't your standard green tea which is probably why I enjoy it so much. It has delicate floral and honey notes and doesn't require any additional sweeteners. Be VERY careful brewing as it is easy to overbrew. It's best to go with lower temp and about 1.5 minutes brew time.
The smokey flavor is overwhelming. The taste is that of smoked salmon.
Not a bad tea. I didn't find it to be perfumy and floral as it was described, but I did find it to be smoky. In fact I found smokiness to be its predominant characteristic. Perhaps it was a freshness issue.
This has been my favorite Adagio tea in the past, and this batch remained consistent. It's got a good, basic flavor, and rebrews ok.
This tea tastes and smells very good. I really enjoy it.
Really great smokey green tea without overwhelming vegital notes.
My favorite green tea so far. Has an oriental flavor.
This tea was a gift so I didn't get to try it.
To start, this tea is wonderful to look at and smell. It's so soft and fluffy with a beautiful color. The taste lives up to the lovely look and feel of the tea. It's very complex with a sweet and fruity taste but also a smoky and mineral flavor. My favorite green tea at the moment by far.
This is the first time I have tried this tea, and it was very enjoyable. Not the vegetal taste of a gyokuro, but somewhat subtle, and as I said enjoyable.
A good green tea, but not one of my favorites. It's very light, but it gets very bitter if steeped too long.
A solid green tea.I don't drink a lot of greens, but this was light and nice.
Smooth cup. Leaves but kind of crumbly... I wouldn't buy again.
I enjoyed this tea. It's a classic, and is certainly worth trying.
A good basic green that has a more earthy mouthfeel than most.
This tea has a lot of flavor to it. It's naturally sweet and floral. I was sent a sample and I'm definitely thinking of purchasing a bigger size.
Tastes like pee lo chun. Not the greatest but it will suffice in times of desperation.
the taste is not so strong, very delicate, and it could be just one brewing
Pi Lo Chun looks and smells like long summer afternoons spent working the hay field. It invokes happy childhood memories. However...it really does smell and look like hay. It's not my favorite green tea. The taste is alright (not like hay) but not as delicious to me as sleeping dragon. Its...ok.
I was surprised that I liked this one. But I really do!
It's a really light tea. Frankly, it's too light. Maybe I steeped it incorrectly, but there was hardly any taste nor smell to it. I'll keep trying to do things differently, and if I get better results, I'll adjust my review accordingly.
This is pretty mild for a china green tea, but it still has some of those strong flavors of other china teas. they are just toned down.
Low astringency tea, a very nice cup of tea, low caffine.
A good flavorful and aromatic tea. Very nice and relaxing.
Closer to white teas than green ones. Very subtle, earthy taste. Pretty good, but not outstanding.
I only received a sample of this tea but it is definitely something I would order again.
So gentle and easy to drink. Like a friend you don't mind dropping by, just kind of good whenever. This is one I'm always restocking.
Everyone should try this great green tea. I just wish it was a little cheaper.
Very earthy smell before steeping, very light floral smell once brewed- my favorite!
The flavor is light, sugar laced smoke drifting through a field of apricot trees. There is no bitterness to be found and the pale, apricot color is unique from other greens I've had. I have a hard time putting my cup down whilst sipping this tea. If I was forced to give a con it would be that this tea yields only one perfect steep...add a minute to each subsequent steep to get something reminiscent of the original flavor.
