There's hints of strawberry in this, and you definitely get the watermelon taste - though it's also light, and a bit hidden behind the grassy/vegetal of the green tea, which is pretty intense/overpowering. With a little sweetener added, you can taste more of the apple and the watermelon gets a boost. The strawberry is largely absent or there in a whisper. I think it would be better iced.

This tea wasn’t inherently bad, it was just boring. Overall, I found the flavor led more to the green vs the fruit.

Cold brewed the Community sample and discovered a mildly fruity sipper. Wouldn't put this on my list of favorites but still a nice summer blend.

Aroma delicious. The most forward flavor is definitely the green tea. I had hoped for a bit more fruit flavor but still very fun! I had it iced and it was very fresh

I didn't hate it, but I didn't love it either. The fruit didn't have a very strong flavor and it was just too grassy tasting for me.

I’m afraid this tea is too grassy for me, and I wasn’t able to taste the other flavors in this blend. Perhaps it’s just my packet because it’s just a small sample from a larger quantity. I did cold brew it for about 4-5 hours, then let it go longer. Eventually I added some Wild Strawberry which made it a drinkable brew.

unsweetened, this tastes like a nice, mildly fruity green tea! I noticed the strawberry flavor more than watermelon.

I'm not a big fan of watermelon and just coming around to enjoying green tea more. This blend just not to my taste. I didn't hate it, but I didn't love it either. It was ok. The berry taste was more prevalent than the watermelon...but the watermelon in the mix pretty much did this in for me. Not one I would order. But watermelon and strawberry fan will most likely love this one!
7/12/2022 - This tea is not bad. I'm just not that much of a green tea fan. It was ok...too light a taste for me, but still enjoyed my cup.

I enjoy green teas, but found there wasn't much else going on tastewise with this one. After cold brewing it in the fridge and adding Stevia like normal, I thought it tasted like a weak green tea, with only a hint if any fruit flavors. I guess if you don't love the taste of green tea this might be a good one for you.

Grassy! I'm not a green tea fan, but keep trying to be...this one was very grassy and somehow flavorless at the same time (cold-brewed).

I cold brewed one in the back of the frig and forgot about it. It was in the frig a good 24 hours. I mostly tasted green tea. On the finish, I actually thought it tasted like honeydew melon. This was refreshing, but not sure I would buy this one mainly because it didn't have much fruit flavor.

coldbrewed, this tea really hits the spot on a warm day! lightly green tea tasting with a nice berry flavor

My tea beneficiary (I'm allergic to melon) thought today's tea was very nice. She enjoys green teas and thought the strawberry with the melon mixture was a nice pairing. A chance to share.

Sniffing the bag I could definitely smell the strawberry and green tea but not much watermelon. I had mine on ice with 5 rock sugar cubes. Sipping it I'm hit right away by the green tea, it has that earthy taste I love so much. Would rate this a five but the melonberry part of the tea is so faint for me.

Fruit floating in green. I like this blend because the green tea flavor still has a prominence, very refreshing iced.

I didn't get a good mixture in my CommuniTEA packet. There were no apple pieces, so no watermelon flavor. It was just a weird tasting green tea. I should order a sample and try it again.

Mildly grassy green tea was the primary flavor in this tea with light fruity hints. Refreshing, light summer tea.

CommuniTEA portion: Cold steeped overnight. Very much enjoyed this tea. Wonderful notes of melon (and maybe berry) paired well with the green tea. Light, refreshing, happiness.

I so wanted to like this tea blend. the description sounds so inviting. I brewed it hot, added manuka honey, let it cool and finally poured over ice. I did taste it hot but was so turned off by the odd flavor that to me comes off as fishy but as it cooled I think that was the melon flavor. Sadly, this tea blend just didn't work for me. If there is ever a next time for me and this tea I will cold brew it over night. possibly that will bring out the fruity flavors and tone down the green.

CommuniTea: This tea has an interesting Tang. Good iced. Would try again.

Love it. I am not a huge melon person but the taste of this was pretty good. I did hot brews but think this would be much better cold brewed, esp for summer.

I did not like this. I usually like flavored green teas but this tasted weird to me. It tasted like kiwi which isn’t one of my favorite flavors. I made this as a cold brew which is my favorite way to enjoy many teas so I’m not sure this would be any better if brewed hot.

This mild green tea is fantastic iced! It’s very refreshing! With hints of melon, strawberry, and apple, it’s summertime in a cup. Great option for those who prefer non grassy green tea. Sip, sip away!

I was a little skeptical of this tea once I'd seen it steeped - it has that telltale pink hue from hibiscus, which I really don't care for. But I enjoyed this one, and after a few sips, I'm going to let it cool and ice the rest, I think it'll be delicious.

This tea evokes the sensation of biting into a big piece of watermelon and having the juice drip down your chin! Summertime memories engaged! I'm not always a fan of flavored greens, but I like this blend of strawberry and watermelon. I added some honey to up the fruit profile. You better believe you could ice this up and serve it to delighted picnic goers! Summer, summer, summer time...Happy Sipping!

This green is grassy and deeply earthy throughout, accented by fresh strawberry flavors. A small hint of watermelon appears on the aftertaste. I thought I wouldn't like the watermelon flavor, but it was pretty good! The main flavor here is strong green tea, but strawberry and melon are definitely present.

I struggle with green teas because I’m not a huge fan of grassy flavors and that is a signature of green teas. From the smell in the packet, I had some hope that the berry and melon would mellow that out, but no such luck. I did taste melon (though I wouldn’t say watermelon specifically) but I couldn’t get past the grass to find the other flavors. If you’re a bigger fan of grassy green teas, you’ll probably like this more than I did.

I sadly didn't get the fruity flavours this tea promised, which reduced it to just an admittedly sweet-ish green tea. Perhaps they are too subtle for hot brewing?

UPDATED 7-12-22: Today's CommuniTEA is Melonberry Green. Upon opening my packet, I did not see any hibiscus or any strawberry. These are 2 very important elements for this tea as they give it its real flavor. I only added a pump of tupelo honey to see how the tea tasted mostly plain. It was still good, but nowhere near as good as the bag I bought myself. Additionally, I have found that mango, orange, raspberry leaves, strawberry, and green tea honey are a good combo for this tea. I would definitely still highly recommend this tea!

ORIGINAL: I brewed my Melonberry Green hot with hibiscus, strawberry, and green tea honey. It is SO good! It packs a lot of fruity and floral flavors in every sip. This is definitely one of my favorite green teas and I would highly recommend it!

It's not bad tea, but it tastes almost exclusively like green tea. The melon flavor is lacking.

None of the fruit flavors really came forward in the tea to my palate. Some raw honey made the cup more pleasant and it tasted better as it cooled down. I steeped at 175 degrees for 3 minutes.

Delicious iced tea blend! I love Green teas and this is no exception. Strawberry, melon and apple flavors made this a sweet summer treat. It was 102 degrees outside today so I added the CT packet tea to a tea bag, dropped in the bottom of my to-go tumbler and then covered it with ice and water. I enjoyed it all day! Cold steeping all day worked great and flavor was full enough to add ice and water to my tumbler and continued to have delicious flavors all day! I just added a bag to my next CT order and can't wait to try it again!

ICED - I decided to try this tea first as an iced tea. I steeped it hot and then poured over ice so that I could resteep and try it hot. I’m new at this so if I’m doing it wrong at least I’m trying. 🙂

Initially it had a very nice flavor. Strawberry stole the show but I might have picked up on some watermelon. I did think there was an aftertaste of just green tea. Instead of it blending it seemed to me that it was a strawberry melon flavor and then the taste of the green tea.

HOT - I then resteeped so I could try it as a hot tea. I liked it better that way. The flavors blended but I could not find any watermelon flavor.

I love this tea iced and don't mind it cold. It's sweet and needs no sugar which is great. It's a real fun tea to have around and makes a great milk tea as well.

This tea is light and refreshing. I don't know how it was done but this tea does really have a nice melon flavor. I even think that it follows it name and starts with the melon flavor and ends in a berry flavor. The green tea flavor is also very light.

While Melonberry Green is good both hot and cold, it really shines as an iced tea. When drunk iced the melon and strawberry flavors became more pronounced. This is a very enjoyable iced green tea to drink on a hot summer day.

I wish the melon flavor was a bit stronger but all in all, not a bad tea.

UPDATE: I gave this tea another try and found that by steeping it for 2 minutes really makes the fruit flavors more noticeable. It's best serve cold.

I wanted to like this one more than I did. Without adding any honey or sugar, it’s a very mild fruit flavor, but adding honey or sugar made it somewhat cloying. I likely just need to play with it more to find the balance.

This tea wasn't really for me. So I gave it to my son in law to try, I think it's his favorite.
I've tried it again since my first time, and I have to say it really is a nice pairing of melon and berry; tangy but sweet in a way.

What's not to love. Refreshing green tea with fruity strawberry, apple flavors with a hint of melon flavor. Really great iced for the hot days. I prefer it cold brewed for a few hours on the counter and add it to ice.
