Sweet and tasty green tea without an aftertaste. I enjoy drinking this one several times a week or more!

This tea was part of the 'Spring Teas sampler' and I loved it so much I had to get a full bag! The fruity hints of watermelon and strawberry are just sweet enough where the tea doesn't need any extra sweetener. Definitely recommend this tea for someone who likes hot tea in the spring/summer time!

I liked this tea a little bit. This tea is kind of bland and didn't have much flavor for me. Brewed with the brewing instructions on the package.

★★★☆☆

I like this as a cold brew iced tea a lot! However, as a hot tea it's not great, and the smell of the tea leaves is really strange. If you try this, I highly recommend you use it for cold teas only.

I thought this tea was just okay. The watermelon flavor was nice, but overall it was very light. Brewed for 4 minutes with a packet of Splenda.

★★★★☆

I definitely made the right call in making this iced - I can't imagine drinking warm watermelon! The flavors in this tea are very light and rather subtle, but still enjoyable. I'd personally prefer something a little stronger, but it tastes very nice with a little honey mixed in!

★★★★☆

Very sweet and almost candy like, I didn't hate, wish it was a bit more mellow but the taste really was good

I can't pinpoint why but I didn't like this tea at all, even the smell was off-putting. Too bad, I enjoy green tea and melon so I had hoped to like it

I am not a fan of watermelon flavor in foods and drink so this one was a tough sell anyway. This tea had a mild vegetal or green grassy flavor that wasn't bad at all. I was really hoping the berry flavor would come out more, but it never really showed. Hibiscus added its usual tartness to the brew. Unfortunately the main flavor I get and what comes in the aftertaste is watermelon flavoring like you get in watermelon gum which I do not like at all. I will still give it another go iced should it come around again, but my hot cup with nothing added just didn't win me over today. 180° 3 min

Not being a melon fan, I had low expectations. In the end this is OK, soft fruity flavors that were non existant until a simple sweetener was added to pull out the flavors from the base green.

Bright and uplifting. A great breakfast tea to start your day on a happy note. Great melon flavor, smooth green tea follows. A loooooong and lingering fruity finish without being sweet. Great brew!

CommuniTEA sample: 2 min @ 180 F, second cup for 3 min @ 180 F. The dry leaves have a strange aroma that's almost creamy, and I suspect that's from the watermelon flavoring. But, I can smell the hibiscus and strawberries, and those are nice and help balance it out. I taste both of those a little bit too, but not as much of the watermelon. Mostly, I taste the green tea, which is ever so slightly grassy, but in a really balanced way, compared to the fruity and tart aspects of the blend.

I got this as I saw it was on the chopping block. I'm surprised it is on the chopping block, as I find it yummy and fun!

I call this my gentle spring flavor. It's not overpowering, hot or cold, it's wonderful. And I love the aroma.

i drank it iced; the fruit flavors were really barely identifiable. mostly just tasted like a sweet green tea. not bad, but not incredible.

It was okay. I tasted more of the berry than the melon which was nice. Just interested in it but I am not a huge fan of watermelon things.

Get this tea while you can! I tried a sample first and loved it. Definitely went for a bag of it when I noticed it's on the chopping block and leaving the Adagio website soon.

I’m not a fan of green tea but this is nice and the extra flavor or makes it enjoyable

While not my favorite of Adagio's green tea lineup this is by no means a bad tea I simply feel that the Citron Green and Citrus Mint Green are stronger offerings.

Delicious! A favorite of Adagio’s green teas. I drink it hot usually, but am excited to try it iced soon, I think it will be delicious both ways.

This tea is good! A light and milky green tea pairs fantastically with the melon and strawberry notes. Not a combination to overlook!

Melonberry Green, a tea so bright,
It’s a fruity fiesta that feels just right.
With every sip, you’ll dance a jig,
As melons and berries make your taste buds dig.

I did enjoy this tea but it really smells much stronger in the pouch than in the cup. There is a nice fruitiness to it but nothing remarkable. If there was a sale on it, it would get it again, but, otherwise, there are better teas out there. I do think that it could be nice and refreshing iced though.

**Review of Melonberry Green Tea from Adagio**

Melonberry Green from Adagio is a delightful, mild blend that offers a subtle, refreshing taste. The delicate notes of watermelon and strawberry are present but require a bit of coaxing with a touch of sweetener to fully blossom. Once enhanced, the fruity flavors become more pronounced, creating a balanced and enjoyable cup.

This tea is perfect for those who appreciate a gentle, light-bodied green tea with a hint of natural sweetness. Whether hot or iced, Melonberry Green provides a soothing experience, especially during the warmer months. If you enjoy your tea on the milder side, this blend is definitely worth trying!

A pretty great tea! Mellow flavors, a light and refreshing tea. Better iced, but not a bad hot drink, either.

I agree with a lot of other reviews that’ve said this tea is best iced. It is very refreshing iced. However I found the flavors to be very subtle either way. I mostly tasted a faint watermelon flavor with some strawberry. I wouldn’t have known this was a green tea if I had just been handed a cup, I would’ve guessed it was an herbal tea.

This tea steeped a little weak for me, but I think I could like it more with a stronger brew. As it was, it just didn't stand out. I think I'd prefer the if the natural melon flavor stood out a bit more against the other flavors.

8/20/2024 Update: I gave this another try. Seeped for 3 minutes at 165*F. It held a good amount of fruity flavor, did need some sweetener to brighten it up. I give it half a star more, but not something I'd keep around.
7/5/2023 I could smell the melon in the packet, but after cold brewing this tea I only taste a light essence of it. Certainly taste the green, mine was a little bitter. I did really enjoy seeing it brew in my simpliciTEA, bc there was a light pink color at the bottom.

Despite the minimal steeping, the predominant flavor for me is still grassy. I get a bit of strawberry at the end.

I shall say 🌠🌠🌠🌠½ §tars for today's CT selection...This iced--its a glorious fruity and floral, refreshing summer bev brew. The pinkish colour is funky fresh 🆒️. I just wish it was a bit more melon-y in note...

This was a fruity tasting tea. Was pleasantly surprised that the grassiness of the green tea stayed in the background and allowed the berry flavor through

The scent of melons comes through strongly when you open the bag, but the melon taste is subtle upon drinking. A rather citrusy taste. Would be wonderful iced!

Melonberry green will quench your thirst with its fruity and refreshing flavor. This blend has the tangy and sweet notes of strawberry and watermelon, the tart and floral notes of hibiscus and apple, and the smooth and soothing notes of green tea. It is a perfect treat for the summertime, or to iced and pair with a sandwich.

This tea was very mild in flavor and a little underwhelming for how strongly it smells. I was expecting a more prominent fruit and melon flavor, but mostly ended up with a light green tea.

Really like this! As soon as I opened the package the smell hit me and I was frantic to try it. It smells amazing! I like this even better than the white tropics. Very fruity and everything meshed together nicely where one thing didn't seem to overpower another. Definitely will be ordering again.
