Really nice light, creamy lemon flavor. Light in color and light in flavor, even with a longer steeping period. Worth trying but I don't know if I'll get this one again.

I just got to try this tea for the first time, and I am very much satisfied. The flavor is great! I love lemon flavored things in general and this tea is 100% right up my alley. The only downside is that it's a seasonal tea. ...Guess I'll have to stock up before it goes away at the end of the season.

Lemon Meringue Green is another very enjoyable desert-type tea from Adagio. The lemon is smoothed out by the creme flavoring and the cup is wonderful on its own, but even better with a bit of sweetener. I added a bit of pure stevia for a pure taste treat.

Okay, this one caught me by surprise. I'm not usually a big fan of green teas, but the description on this one intrigued me and I took a chance and ordered a sample.
It's bright, fragrant, sweet on its own, and has a better mouth feel than most green teas I've tried. The taste is exactly as advertised. It's honestly quite delightful, and I could see it making an excellent iced tea as well. Definitely will be ordering more in the future.

Tastes just like a lemon bar!! Not to grassy, and the lemon is nice, and plays well with the vanilla ad creme flavors! A delicious cup!!

★★★★★

For me the way to go was on ice, a little sugar, and some extra lemon juice, I'm not huge on lemon meringue or lemon cream desserts in general but added the extra juice made this a zingy and refreshing blend. (reviewed as part of the communitea bundle for march 2023)

Utterly yummy! It’s definitely in the top 5 of my favorite lemon teas, and thanks to Adagio I’m up to about 7 of those. Lol Incidentally, my husband is a big fan of lemon meringue pie, and I made him drink some - he said it tasted like lemon meringue and was delicious.

I liked this tea, however it smelled way better than it tasted, so I was a little disappointed that they didnt match better. It was still a lovely tea though <3

Has a bright zesty, lemon flavor . I added a light sprinkle of sugar which helped bring out the vanilla. The green tea is light enough that it pairs well with the citrus and creme. It's a refreshing blend that tastes just like lemon meringue.

Full disclosure... I'm not a big green tea lover and lemon flavors in drinks are not my favorite. With that being said, this wasn't bad at all. There was no grassy taste which is an automatic ew to me when there is. And the lemon was complimented by tasty vanilla and cream flavors in the background.

This tea smells absolutely divine! The lemon is the strongest, and helps to make this a worthwhile green tea without any typical green tea grassy/vegetal notes. I think this would taste better iced; I tried it hot.

Tried as a CommuniTEA sample. The green tea base is very light which I like but the lemon flavor is a bit too artificial for my tastes.

3/2/23 CT packet - Very refreshing and needs no cream or sugar. Reminds me of a lemon jelly donut from my favorite donut place. Very light and the lemon flavor lingers in your mouth. 180 for 3 min

I have had this tea in the 3-ounce bag for quite a while and have enjoyed it hot with varying sweeteners added (just a little bit is all it needs). It is a yummy dessert in a teacup. Today I decided to try it iced and it is fantastic just the way it is - true perfection in a tall glass that I just had to keep refilling until it was gone! Tea doesn't get much better than this! Steeped at 175 for 3 minutes (and not a second longer!). It is good for a flavorful second steep as well!

Communi-TEA '23 Not typically a fan of green teas, this one is pretty good! I added sugar, but honey I think would definitely be the better choice. Very lemon-y, a little creamy. Would like to try iced for sure.

★★★★★

This tea is utterly wonderful! The lemon flavor is very strong, just like I like it. I think this would make a wonderful iced tea and I will be ordering some soon.

when I opened the pouch I immediately smelled the luscious lemon scent. The scent was still strong among the leaves after it steeped. The taste is incredibly smooth and delicious. I will be ordering this tea to enjoy throughout the spring and summer.

★★★★★

I love this tea! It has a pleasant lemon flavor, but it is also sweet or creamy, even without any sweetener

Updated a year later, this is still one of my top 3 favorite teas. I always have it on hand and make sure to get enough in the spring to last until it's in season again.

I really like the scent of this tea. And I love lemons! Unfortunately, I felt like the tea had a slight pledge taste. I would probably opt for a brewing time of two minutes instead of three next time.

3/2/2023: I still remain one of this tea’s greatest fans. The lemon taste in it is incredible. It tastes like you have actual lemon peels in your cup. If you are hesitant about green teas like I am because of possibly grassiness, I’m here to tell you that it’s NOT GRASSY AT ALL! The taste is so refreshing. I hope you will give it a try and see what you think. Today I brewed it at 195 for 3 minutes - perfect!

What a lovely, flavorful tea! My friend just shared this with me yesterday as an iced tea, which was refreshing, but I tasted and enjoyed much more flavor when it was hot. The blender sure got this one just right with enough lemon to enjoy while not being overpowering.

This one sounded delicious, and I was really looking forward to it. Unfortunately, the lemon tastes very artificial to me.

Actually used some rewards points a bit ago to try this tea--I enjoy it, though I think like the pie its best I sip this in small doses.

★★★★★

A sweet and refreshing blend that makes a great afternoon tea because of the moderate caffeine.

I wasn't quite sure with the first steep, but the second steep made this a keeper. Looking forward to trying it iced when the weather warms up!

Lemon is my favorite flavor but this is a bit soft for my palate! The tea is light and creamy and I would have preferred a bit more tartness.

★☆☆☆☆

Unfortunately most lemon teas have a Pledge flavor for me. I'm always hopeful that it won't and was hoping the other flavors would counteract the lemon for me, but it didn't. I can taste the vanilla a little, but the lemon is overpowering and therefor not pleasant.

This tea is light and sweet without being cloying. I found lemon to be the predominant flavor, but the cream mellows it out and adds depth that makes this a delightful blend both hot and cold.

Really nice light lemon flavor, balanced with lots of vanilla and cream flavor. Without sugar, you taste the green tea more but the flavorings are extremely subtle. Even a small amount of sugar brings them out. I enjoyed this - a gentle, pleasant tea to sip on a spring morning! I loved it hot but think it would be a fantastic cold brew as well.

This tea is an absolute treat! When I opened my CommuniTEA packet, I smelled aromas of citrus and the sweetness of vanilla. The marigold flowers, apple pieces, and orange were present in the packet. I steeped the tea for 3 minutes. This tea has such a delightful lemon meringue flavor to it! The citrus flavor is bright and the vanilla adds a creamy element to the tea. This tea is a favorite of mine for sure!

4/5/22: This is a very flavorful tea with a creamy lemony taste that is tart but not too tart. The lemon is more pronounced when the tea is hot and the cream begins to come forward as it cools. Overall an enjoyable tea from start to finish.

Update: I’ve increased my rating from 4 stars to 5 stars because I made this as a cold brew this year in CommuniTea and I found out that I enjoyed it even more this way. I like the creamy but bright lemony taste that it has and I think it will be refreshing during warmer seasons. This is going on my wishlist.

Today's tea is Lemon Meringue Green (3-2-23). Upon opening my packet, I had a fantastic amount of all ingredients. I added some orange peels, lemon peels, and green tea honey. It was very yummy and citrusy! The honey didn't cut through the citrus much, but did add a little sweet aftertaste. I really loved this tea and would highly recommend it!

UPDATED from 4/12/21: Wonderful creamy lemon aroma greets my nose as the CommuniTEA packet opens. I savor the smell for a few minutes as it is divine. It steeps into the lightest yellow color, but the flavor is bold, creamy lemon. WOW - THIS IS SOOO GOOD - the vanilla and creme give this a soft mouthfeel, and a creamy texture. The orange and lemon conspire to present a dessert flavor, much like a lemon meringue pie. However, this is far better, since green tea has so many more health benefits and zero calories! Adding ¼ teaspoon sweetener (to 10 oz) just made it all the more fun tasting. Boy what a refreshing joy to drink. I was able to steep it several times, but the first two were the best. (3 mins @ 180ºF + sweetener).

I really enjoy lemon teas. This one is similar to the lemon cloud rooibos but with a more delicate flavor. It was smooth and creamy, with a brightness of lemon without being tart or bitter.

I do believe this is my favorite new flavored green tea. It's so lovely and light. The lemon, vanilla and creme blend perfectly together The lemon has no harshness or fake after taste. I tasted a hint of orange, but it was content to stay in the background. I can't wait to try this iced.

I typically don't enjoy green teas, but this was decent. I couldn't taste the typical green tea flavors and the lemon was very refreshing. If you aren't into green tea, but like lemon... give it a try.

Upon the first sip I literally said to myself, 'I love this'. This tea put me in a good mood! Adding this to my cart!

This is a wonderfully refreshing tea blend! I have enjoyed this iced several days in a row now. I bought the sample and I tried it the first day I received it in the mail. Before I even finished the first cup I was ordering it again. I do not add any sweetener. I have enjoyed it so much as an iced tea that I don't even want to try it hot. I'm ready to drink it as soon as it steeps and enjoy this blend throughout the teaching day as a nice treat! It smells wonderful and tastes just a good! I followed the instructions exactly for steep temperature and on the low side for time. Most of the time I cold brew this so it's all ready for my to-go tumbler in the morning. I have even added about 2 teaspoons to a large tea bag and dropped into the bottom of my to-go tumbler, filled with ice and water. It is delicious all day and everytime I refill the tumbler with water the flavor is still amazing for the whole day. Delicious!!!

UPDATED:
This is still my favourite green tea. That creamy, lemony zing is just delightful and keeps the green tea base from being too grassy. The green tea also seems to lift the flavour profile of the inclusions, better than I think any of the other tea bases would. It really is an ideal combination.

Original Review 4/5/22:
I really liked this one! It's delightfully lemony - the nice, zesty, curdy kind, not the astringent kind - both on the nose and the palate. I appreciate it when the smell and taste of a tea match as well as this one did.

In the bag: Principally the roughly chopped, dark green tea leaves. A few strands of marigold flowers bring pops of bright yellow. One lone apple piece.

On the nose (pre-steep): Lemon is loud and proud. Orange is the little brother just behind her saying 'me, too!' Hint of cream. A gentle musty note in the background common to green teas at this stage.

On the nose (post-steep): A balance of bright lemon and clean grass. Still a hint of cream.

On the tongue (pre-sweetener): Still that delicate balance of lemon and grass. No other flavors, sugar, or astringency.

On the tongue (post-sweetener): No change.

Opinion: A pleasant tea for casual sipping. The simple combination of lemon and grass works here. The blender did well to showcase that duo without any other fuss.

Preparation: First steep 3 min, second steep 6 min. Both @ 175 ℉. ½ teaspoon monk fruit sweetener.

This is definitely one of my new favorites! It's not very overpowering and the lemon flavor is very refreshing.

I definitely was turned off by the smell at first. Let me just say that I am not a dreamsicle kind of gal. I don't like cream with citrus. However, this was very nice! It was a very nice and clean taste. It's a good thing I didn't add any sugar because I wouldn't have liked the taste. Just plain on its own, it's nice and refreshing. I highly recommend!

A delicious creamy dreamy lemon green tea with vanilla smoothed citrus flavor. For fun add a little bit of extra lemon to boost the lemon merengue flavor or extra orange to send the tea into a yummy orange creamsicle direction, although, it’s great as is. With careful brewing, the green tea base stays subtle and allows the creamy citrus flavor to reign supreme.

My CommuniTEA packet had 3 g./ 2 tsp. of green tea leaves, a dozen little marigold flowers, and 6 apple pieces carrying the orange, lemon, cream, and vanilla flavors. Although there were no orange pieces, the brewed light gold liquor had a strong orange scent and the first taste of a creamy vanilla orange followed by a lemony cloud of flavor and the subtle taste of green tea at the finish. There was no bitterness or grassiness from the tea base to distract from the luscious creamy citrus flavor when brewed carefully at 175F for not more than 3 minutes and closer to just over 2 minutes in a 10 oz. mug. I could sip plain but sweetening with Tupelo honey elevated the flavors and made it more dessert-like. I chilled some too and it easily made my A list of iced teas to brew this summer. Two resteeps were possible using less water each time.

For fun, I made an almost Lemon Meringue tea by mixing a tsp. of Citron Green and a tsp. of Vanilla Green to brew at the same temp. and time as the Meringue tea. The only ingredient missing in the new blend was cream but, otherwise, it tasted almost the same as Meringue but it clearly lacked that extra creamy flavor. The cream flavor seems to be the magic ingredient that gives this Meringue that extra smoothing power to soften its delightful citrus taste. I enjoyed this tea very much and because it’s a seasonal blend it’s time to go spring shopping.
