I adore jasmine tea. The scent of the tea alone is awesome. This is one of my all time favorite teas.

Medium jasmine scent and flavour. A nice starter for those who are looking to try jasmine.
This tea has an excellent flavor and aroma. The tea has a medium body and a crisp flavor.
Not as good as jasmine #12, but the lower price makes it a staple.
Where to begin.. Jasmine #5 is a fine every day tea, it has a nice aroma and smooth taste. I tend to brew it a bit cooler than similar types and also tend to only enjoy the first steep. I've found the oolong blends of jasmine to be a bit more to my liking however, for the $$ it's a fine tea.
I tried Jasmine #5, #9, and #12 at the same time to determine which one was best. Jasmine #5 is good but is inferior to both the Jasmine #9 and Jasmine #12. My advice is to pay the extra money for the higher quality stuff.
If you love jasmine, you will love this tea! It offers a rich flavor.
The lesser of the jasmines I have tried but one I keep in good quantity as it serves as more of an everyday jasmine, not as special as #12 or #9 but a quality oolong jasmine. This, when I tried it first from Adagio blew everyone's jasmine teas out of the water. It makes a more subdued cup with just a tough of jasmine. A wonderful cup for a meal rather than just enjoying the tea alone.
I love jasmine #5. Something about this tea is nostaglic and makes me feel quite comforted in the world. Very nice rainy day warm me up.
I love Jasmine teas & every time I have some when dining out I pledge to buy some. Well I finally ordered a sample of this one & #9. This fell a bit short for me so I won't be reordering, it tasted a bit more bitter than what I was searching for. Now my mom on the other hand, loves it!

This was a very good, smooth jasmine -- but we preferred the Jasmine #9, overall.
Wonderful aroma, and a very earthy (yet delightful) taste. Has an almost velvety feel to it. A really good tea that is a complete package, soothing taste and smell.
This is great before bed or if you're stressed. It's light and actually makes you feel relaxed. I add a few ice cubes to it when I add the boiled water because it will get bitter if the water is added while boiling. I let it get a light golden color before straining out the leaves.
Smells soooo amazingly good... just like fresh jasmine. Taste is good, kind of weak. It's very very easy to over-steep, don't go a second over 3 minutes. Would probably be better if iced.
I find most jasmine teas overpowering in their floral notes; this was more balanced.

This was my first loose tea experience and I have to say... I'm hooked. This Jasmine is MUCH better than any of the bagged tea I was drinking previously.
A real workhorse of a jasmine. I still prefer the 9 and 12 to the 5 but I wouldn't turn a warm cup of this away. Great value.
I love this tea for making ice tea. If I want hot Jasmine, I go for the #9. For ice tea, use twice the normal amount to allow for the melting ice. Really refreshing. My favorite ice tea.
This is great for blending with other teas that complement a sweet flavor, but on its own the jasmine flavor is a bit overwhelming.
I found this to be unique and interesting flavored tea. The scent of the jasmine flowers provides aromatherapy along with a relaxing beverage. The tea looks beautiful in the glass tea pot as well.
I liked this because it gives a nice potent dose of jasmine flavor. But the brewing needs to be controlled to avoid a bitter taste. I found that 3 grams per 6oz of water was good.
I love the oolongs because they wake me up and keep me awake without being jittery; however I have still not found one that I love. I am not a huge fan of jasmine so I will move on and try something else next.
wonderfull for the senses. makes 1 nice second steep. adding sweetener of your your choice will bring this tea from good to great.I like the new see-through tins of the 4 oz size.

I like jasmine teas, but I have to be in the right mood for them. i like to cold brew this one- it is very refreshing on a hot day!
I liked this one, but definately prefer Jasmine 12 to this one.
Excellent taste. Very aromatic! I use it to blend with other tea. Since jasmine can be very significant in taste I add only a little bit of it. It adds this special something to every cup you make with it. Highly recommended! Drink it every day.
First oolong tea I've really tried. Very nice taste. I also like that it's very easy to dispose of the leaves from my triniTEA when compared to some other types.
I thought the jasmine on this one was a bit too strong for my tastes.
Very nice, good colour, flavour and aroma. Second extraction was also fine. No complaints.
This is a good low-budget alternative to Jasmine #12. The jasmine isn't as pronounced as in the #12 blend, but it's still enjoyable.

Always wanted to try some jasmine teas, so I ordered the sample. However the #5 just did not do anything for me, I was expecting some floral notes in the taste, but not that much.
I guess I just don't really like the smell or taste of jasmine, so I can't really judge this one too well.
The jasmine overwhelms the tea; I prefer the more subtle jasmine #12, where the flavors are blended really well. I'd give it 4 stars, but I bought this for a friend and he loves it. Also, he prefers to sweeten it with honey, which balances out the jasmine very well, while I drink it straight.
