Jasmine Chun Hao Customer Reviews

A classic jasmine tea from Fujian, China, infused with the delicate scent of night-blooming jasmine flowers. Sweet perfumy cup, notes of warmed sugar, slightly toasty like a fresh biscuit. Light, refreshing and not overwhelmingly floral.

I enjoy this tea, it tastes like it smells so if you don't like jasmine its not for you. A relaxing tea.

Not for the feint of heart when it comes to Jasmine flavor. It is refreshing and is as much a pleasure to smell as taste.

★★★★★

Tasty and rich jasmine flavor that is not overpowering. I would recommend it highly.

★★★★★

Lovely scent and flavor. Would buy this one again.

★★★★★

Absolutely fantastic! This has been my favorite green tea so far! Actually, this might be my favorite tea overall!

★★★★★

This has a wonderful jasmine aroma and taste. It has been disappearing alarmingly fast here.

Adagio Jasmine Chun Hao (#5) tea has excellent Jasmine flavor

This version of the jasmine blends is well worth the money. You will love it!

★★★★★

Perfect jasmine flavor, much better then the overrated jasmine dragon phoenix pearls that everyone buys. If you like jasmine try this one.

★★★★☆

My first introduction to jasmine was with the rooibos blend, and I do say I prefer this – the jasmine taste is not as overwhelming.

★★★★★

I am not usually one for jasmine tea as I typically find it too 'perfumey' for my taste, but this one is an exception. It has a nice subtle jasmine taste. Will probably order again!

★★★★☆

Tasty. It's got a sweetness to it that was stronger than I have been used to in other jasmine teas that I've tried, but the jasmine flavor itself is at a nice level. Good stuff. I'd buy it again.

★★★★★

One of my favorite teas. I love a cup in the evening with just a touch of sugar. The aftertaste is light, sweet and floral without being overpowering. In my opinion, this is one of the best Adagio teas.

The smell of this tea is great, taste is great too. I brewed it a little long the first time and it still had a good taste.

★★★★☆

I love this tea. The Jasmine is intoxicating in a good way, but not overpowering. Like aromatherapy. :) It doesn't do well on the second steep though.

The flavor of this tea changes quite a bit depending on how it is prepared. I prefer to steep for a short time to ensure a delicate jasmine flavor. Very good.

★★★★★

One of my favorite green teas, this has become a staple of my day

★★★★☆

I like this tea very much. I like this tea very much.

★★★★☆

An excellent everyday jasmine. Not as complex as yin hao or the phoenix pearls, but it's cheaper.

Awesome, light oolong--one of my favorites. Tastes like it should cost twice as much, it's a high quality jasmine. Wonderful fragrence. Just a touch of sugar or honey really compliments this nicely.

★★★★☆

This was pretty good. I've had better jasmine teas, but this one's in the top 5 and it's less expensive than the others. Not bad for sipping all day long at work. The leaves resteeped pretty well, too. I was cleaning the leaves out about every third cup.

★★★★☆

My wife loves jasmine and never tried this one. Will have to try it myself after her positive review.

★★★★★

The sublime fragrance makes this tea very inviting and easy to enjoy.

★★★★★

This one is absolutely delicious. I've shared it with some of my friends and they love it too!

★★★★☆

Jasmine Chun Hao has a great scent and a very mild flavor. I don't taste jasmine when I drink it. If you're looking for a strong green tea, this isn't it.

★★★★★

Fantastic tea! I am sorry I only bought a sample bag size because next time, I am going to get the big bag. Smooth green tea flavor. Follow the directions on the package exactly!

★★★★★

Of all jasmine teas I prefer jasmine pearls, but this had a very nice flavor and aroma. The jasmine is sweet and lovely, and the tea itself is also very good. Don't let the water boil, but do let it reach 195 as recommended.

★★★★★

Jasmine is absolutely wonderful. Very nice floral taste, without being too light.

★★★★★

Fantastic Jasmine, though I'd like to try the pearls. The scent is not too overpowering.

★★★★★

This tea is wonderful! The gorgeous perfume aroma is enough to make it worth getting. I seriously wish I had a perfume like this.

★★★★★

Very nice tea, especially for the price. It's very fragrant and floral without being bitter. Make sure not to brew too long or too hot, and don't re-brew.

★★★★☆

You'll like this tea if you like teas that smell like perfume (which doesn't bother me). Before I really got into green tea, I'd drink jasmine green tea a lot and this jasmine is very fragrant.

★★★★★

Jasmine teas are great on their own, but when mixed with a nice green, the flavors mesh so well.

★★★☆☆

Cons: In order to enjoy this tea, one really has to follow the instructions closely. If the water is too hot, or if it is steeped for too long, the tea turns bitter.

Pros: If steeped correctly, this makes a descent cup of tea. I have had better jasmine teas in the past, but that being said, it is being sold at a great price.

While Jasmine #12 will always be my favorite of the bunch, #5 holds its own in my normal rotation of everyday teas. I find the jasmine flavor to be more prevalent in #5 than in some of the others, which isn't necessarily a bad thing. It's a nice complimentary tea that I find myself coming back to often.

★★★★☆

This is a great jasmine tea, though not as good as Jasmine #9.

★★★★★

Jasmine tea might not be for everyone, but I've yet to find the balance of value and genuinely good flavor that this Jasmine has to offer.

★★★☆☆

I do not realy like this tea. Taste of jasmine is too strong for me.

★★★★★

I love the Jasmine #5! It is one of my favorite green teas offered by Adagio. The jasmine flavor is just right and you can also taste a little bit of sweetness. This is definitely a tea that will become a regular in my pantry!

★★★★☆

while not as great as #12, this is a viable (yet cheaper tasting) alternative to the very expensive aforementioned tea.

★★★★☆

very fragrant taste of the arousing jasmine flower.

★★★★★

Personally, I adore both the Chun Hao and the Yin Hao. The Chun Hao the sweeter of the two- well balanced, neither overpoweringly jasmine-scented, nor weak. This is a great first jasmine tea, if you're looking to be introduced.

★★★★☆

Intense jasmine flavor. For me, the aroma is more enjoyable than the taste, but I may not be a huge jasmine fan.

★★★★★

This was the first tea I tried as soon as I arrived home and found the tea samples I'd ordered sitting on the doorstep. Even if all the other samples were not very good (which they are!) this Jasmine Chun Hao would make up for the rest. Absolutely divine!

★★★★★

A fantastic jasmine that really lets the high perfume of floral notes sing, without any of the earthiness that some jasmine teas have. Very energizing and sultry, a date tea!

★★★★☆

Very strong jasmine flavor, I didn't like it much the first time. I added some more green tea and enjoyed that much better than just drinking it by itself.

★★★★★

Amazing jasmine tea! Just the right balance of tea and jasmine flavors. Really fills the room with a beautiful smell.

★★★★★

I absolutely love this tea and I have been searching for the perfect Jasmine tea and I think I've found it. Not only do I drink this as is but I also use it in my own homemade 'Bubble Tea' and it's fantastic!

★★★★☆

I compared this to the more expensive Jasmine teas, and like it just as much.

★★☆☆☆

I found this to be a little too much like drinking a cup of perfume.
