Jasmine Chun Hao Customer Reviews

A classic jasmine tea from Fujian, China, infused with the delicate scent of night-blooming jasmine flowers. Sweet perfumy cup, notes of warmed sugar, slightly toasty like a fresh biscuit. Light, refreshing and not overwhelmingly floral.

I really like this one. Light floral aroma and a really clean tasting green tea. I added a little honey to mine and it was perfect.

This tastes so pretty, that's the only way I can think to describe it. A lot of jasmine teas can taste soapy but this one is perfect.

★★★★☆

Generally not a fan of jasmine teas but this one is pretty good. Sweet but not overbearing.

★★★☆☆

This was ok, i dont love jasmine green teas but this was smooth with a hint of grassiness, a bit of bitterness too.

★★★★★

I really like jasmine teas when I am in the mood for something floral, and this is a nice one to keep on hand at home. I usually don’t add any sweetener to my teas, but sometime I do drink this one with honey. I love the added dimension that jasmine and honey have together.

This is a very refreshing tea! It is slightly sweet at first and then fades into a floral and vegetal green tea flavor. The jasmine is a great accent and isn’t overpowering. I think this would be great iced as well.

★★★★★

I love jasmine tea and this one is lovely! So fragrant, just lovely.

★★★★★

This is really delicious tea. I really enjoy the jasmine teas.

★★★★★

Honey-colored, luscious and fragrant. Strong jasmine. Might be too floral for some.

★★★★★

Truly excellent tea! I adore jasmine and have struggled to find one that compares to the jasmine pearls, but this one makes the cut!

★★★★★

I LOVE this tea!!! Jasmine green tea is, by far, my absolute ravorite tea and there is a very obvious difference when you get a good quality tea. This is great! Floral but more mild than other Jasmine teas from Adagio. So it's good if you want a more subtle floral taste. It is so smooth! Despite my intense obsession with Jasmine teas, I somehow had never tried this particular type. I will absolutely order this again!

★★★★★

Oh my goodness! I love jasmine tea, and this is perfect! Not overly floral. This has just the right amount of jasmine fragrance to mesh with the tea. Yummy!

★★★★★

This tea is wonderful. It has such a strong bouquet that I worried it would lose the good taste of a green tea and be almost plant-y but such was not the case. The nose is filled with strong and wonderful jasmine while the mouth is delicious green tea

This really kicked in my nostalgia. I ve drank jasmine tea throughout my childhood, and this was a wonderful reminder of the taste. It may be simple, but it has such a classic taste of jasmine tea.

★★★★★

My favorite tea right now! I love how floral it is and oversteep a min for flavor!

Nice subtle not overpowering jasmine flavor and perfectly blended with Rooibos Bonita :)

This Jasmine is more delicate than most teas I have had in the past. I would recommend being very careful not to burn it, or recommend getting a different brand.

★★★★★

A basic and very tasty jasmine. The flavor is not at all subtle but stops one step before overpowering. This might not be the tea for you if you like merely a hint of jasmine, but if you can enjoy a strongly flavored tea without a ton of subtle notes then you'll love this.

light great taste, notes of honey and also earthy notes

★★★★★

Delightful cup of tea. The jasmine flavor was a little stronger than another brand I used to drink but in a good way.

★★★★☆

The jasmine in this is very light compared to other jasmine teas I've tried, but still nice. The first cup I made I accidentally over steeped it and the taste got very astringent, so definitely be careful of time and temperature you're steeping at.

Great tea with very distinct but not overpowering jasmine flavor.
Naturally sweet, good both ways - hot or iced.

★★★★★

I love this tea for my kiddos because it has a moderate level of caffeine. It's floral aroma is intoxicating, but not overwhelming. It reminds me of a summer's day!

I love the fragrance of the jasmine. It's my go to morning tea.

This is a delightful little tea that is overflowing with the essence of jasmine. While not overwhelmingly flora it certainly is strong so much so that I would swear I was eating a jasmine flower. It does have undertone that is slightly bitter and leaves an astringent feeling in your mouth. I do not get the toasty fresh biscuit essence in the is tea that is described. It does have a nice green tea taste that is very light and vegetable like. Overall a good tea that invokes the imagery of an exotic place full of beautiful ladies being pampered.

I was more than pleased with my purchased. This one of my favorites!

the description says not overly floral, but it is VERY floral. It is not a bad thing, I like it, it is a sweet grassy tea it smells less floral than it tastes. a good tea if your in the mood for sweet green tea.

★★★★★

Fragrant and a great value! This is one of my daily favorites.

★★★☆☆

less floral than Jasmine yin hao, also more sensitive to higher temperatures causing bitterness. It is less expensive.

★★★★★

Adagio has my favorite Jasmine teas. I highly recommend!

★★★★★

This is a sweet green tea, no sugar necessary. Be careful not to brew too long (that will bake it bitter)!

★★★★★

I don t drink a lot of jasmine tea and I am not always in the mood for it. But when I do want some jasmine green tea, I really like this.

One of my favorite Jasmine teas. Not overly scented - just right. Would order again.

★★★★★

Definitely one of the better, if not the best jasmine green I've had. The jasmine comes through strong, but not at all overwhelming. Delightful.
Editing to add that just a touch of lemon in this is magical.

★★★★★

I'm a big fan of Jasmine tea. I love this tea as a less expensive tea that you can drink on a daily basis. Give it a try.

★★★★☆

This is a great nightly supper for me. It s nice and relaxing. It has just enough Jasmine flavor to be noticable, but not enough to be a favorite. This makes it great for those nights I just want a cup of relaxing tea but not something expensive like Jasmine Phoenix Pearls. I will be ordering more of this tea soon as I ve already ran out.

This is another of the Jasmines I prefer. if I like a change. a little more full-bodied and makes me feel safe and warm on cold winter nights when I like to read.

This is very good. I took a star off because I still prefer the stronger floral flavor in Jasmine Yin Hao.

Any tea with jasmine in it's name has a floral fragrance. It's infused with the delicate scent of jasmine flowers. I add honey and I love the light scent of jasmine in the cup. Light, refreshing.

This was my morning go-to cup of green tea and equally bold and balanced to wake me up in the morning. I highly recommend giving this tea a try.

★★★☆☆

This tea was ok, but I greatly prefer the Jasmine phonix pearls over this tea

★★★☆☆

It's got a slight jasmine flavor, but ever when I brewed it at the shortest recommend time, it was still bitter and I can't stand that.

★★★★★

Fantastic green tea and a really good price. Recommend going with the bulk size.

★★★★★

Very similar to Jasmine Yin Hao, with a slightly different aroma. Light tea, great taste, and goes well with a touch of honey. Love having this in the late morning.

★★★★★

As many of the other reviews express, this jasmine green is a great classic -- not overly floral, balanced in strength, and well-rounded in flavor. Compared to virtually any brand you would find stocked even in a specialty market, this jasmine green is the best I have found, especially for the price.

★★★☆☆

First off, I must say that I love jasmine tea. The tea is very delicate so I typically brew the tea between 175 to 180F. From my experience, it starts with a mild floral flavor that ends with a burnt or vegetal profile. I found steeping for a short amount of time, the grassy notes are less noticable. Overall, I would say that the tea is good.

Very fragrant and flavorful. One bag makes several cups.

★★★★★

Fabulous jasmine aroma! I really enjoyed this flavor, especially mixing it with Fujian pearls. Not too strong.

★★★★☆

This tea is good, but I liked the other Jasmine green teas better (Yin Hao, pearls)

A slightly more toasty-sweet Jasmine than I m used to, but by no means bad! It s delicious and warming with a teensy bit more cozy flavor than usual.
