Tea with a bang, yeah!
A classic green tea from Zhejiang province, China. Gunpowder, as the name implies, is made up of leaves hand-rolled into tiny pellets. These resemble gunpowder, and give this tea its distinct name. Full-bodied cup with a hint of smokiness.

Tea with a bang, yeah!
Okay by itself, but must be timed precisely. I would brew it for less time than the advertised 3 minutes to ensure that there is no smoke-like taste. Definitely do not brew in water over 180? F. Absolutely superb when brewed with spearment. Might also be good with peppermint, but I do not like peppermint.
hint of smokiness, nice, full mouthfeel, great green for general drinking
Nice smoky gunpowder. Relatively easy to oversteep - gets bitter. I like this tea as one of my everyday teas.
This is my favorite tea. It has a nice flavor and is very easy to use because of the way it is rolled into tiny balls. It won't slip through the strainer holes of your tea infuser!
Green tea is tricky, and this one hits the nail straight on
I was impressed with this tea. The little rolled leaves, the nice taste and the health benefits made me a happy customer of this tea. Do not over steep it though, it quickly takes on bitterness if left in the water beyond 3 minutes.
The texture of the un-brewed tea is very interesting, and it is a treat to watch the leaves unfurl while brewing. I have little experience with green tea, but I did like the taste of this tea. Not too bitter, nice over-all.
This tastes like cigarettes to me-blech!
Bold and brash. A tea worthy of it's name.
This tea was okay. I made it too strong. I will try again and not put as much tea in it.
I think the Gunpowder is the most flavorful. It is just excellent. Great aroma, mellows the soul, and eases the mind.
This is a good tea, but there are other green teas that I like better
Exotic but somehow familiar too. Smooth and pleasant.
I've never tried gunpowder before- Now I'm glad I did, its a fine tea!
Smokey taste brings an added boost to flavor.
This is a good tea, at a good price.
Strong as far as green tea goes. A little bitter for my taste.
I received your Gunpowder Tea as a gift from my husband, who knew I had been searching for a source for a very long time. It was worth the search! An excellent tea with a delicious smokey flavor.
A superb green tea. Mild, and smokey. Wonderfully smooth when complemented with a little sugar.
i just didn't care for the flavor
Excellent, mild green tea. If you're looking for a green tea that's not too strong tasting, this is one.
Wonderful.
Strong taste and unique "pellet" form.
A hearty, smoky green.
