I use this mixed in equal parts with Irish Breakfast for Kombucha brewing. love it!
Gunpowder is a good classic green. Not overly strong but has a good flavor when you brew the right quantity
My go to tea; super robust flavor, beautiful golden color: an elixir. The flavor when you stick your face in the bag is INTOXICATING. I have probably 10 - 15 other teas and I still end up drinking this one at least every other day. DK+GP 4ever
As a fairly obtuse, new tea drinker, I enjoyed the fact that I perceived the smokiness of the tea as advertised. I even steeped the leaves twice and enjoyed the second cup.
Moderate 'grassy' taste. Smoky flavor especially when making a heavy cup.

This is a nice cup of green tea. It's your simple no frills cup. I prefer the sleeping dragon, but if you are short on cash this is a fine alternative.

Awesome tea. As good as coffee for getting you going in the morning. It has a great flavor on its own but is also a good base for other flavors like raspberry patch or mint teas.

This is my favorite tea to cold brew. It mixes well with other flavors such as lychee rose green tea! For my pitcher I aim to add about 9 scoops of tea and if im adding a flavor ill do 6-7 of gunpowder and the rest whatever flavor tea im adding!
I like to mix this with Sleeping Dragon for a slightly different experience. Lovely!

One of my favorite green teas. I'm not a big fan of the very 'grassy' green tea varieties and the gunpowder is not 'grassy'. Has a slight smoky profile.
I'll be honest, I only bought this tea to make Moroccan Mint with. It was absolutely fantastic both in that regard and as a standalone cold brewed tea. Highly recommend!

I bought this tea for my parents who I have successfully converted into loose leaf tea drinkers as opposed to tea bags! This basic green tea is very rich and has a nicely velvety aroma that carries over to the tea. I would suggest not to over-steep this tea.
Green tea up front, but sort of had a pur-eh flavor to follow. That s not my favorite, but it might be for you.

One of my favorite green teas. Solid and great if you're blending tea. Gunpowder seems to do well at rounding out other teas. Another perk is multiple steepings turn out very well. I love how the leaves are rolled and unfurl as they steep.

The coffee of green teas. It was through Adagio’s temperature recommendation that I learned this tea doesn’t have to be bitter! Hotter water= more bitter flavor. I frequently steep for a longer time and sometimes a higher temperature for that extra kick. Good for a re-steep.
