Fujian Jasmine Pearl Customer Reviews

Hand-rolled tea from Fujian, China, infused with the delicate scent of night-blooming jasmine. Each pearl is made up of just one bud and leaf set. Refined, clear and quietly hypnotic fragrance, pleasantly soft texture and delicately dry finish.

I can never decide which is better about Jasmine tea- the smell or the taste. Both are great in this tea!

A little on the strong side if brewed for too long, but it has a pleasant taste once you get it right! Plus, they're just aesthetically pleasing, to be honest.

Very fragrant. We like to use these pearls to mix with vanilla green or white peony.

Was not a fan at all. Found the jasmine flavor too much like soap. I'm sure this is just a personal preference. Tea seemed to be of very good quality otherwise.

★★★★☆

This tea is delicious. soft sweet, and floral. However, I find that the cost does not make it feel noticeably better than the Jasmine Phoenix Pearls. While I like the tin that the Fujian pearls come in, and that the pearls are very delicately rolled, the Phoenix Pearls taste almost identical to me and are much less expensive.

One smell and I had to try this tea. The air tight containers are a nice touch an make it easy to keep within reach at all times!

Amazing, rich, luxury tea. If you love jasmine tea, this is the best they sell at Adagio.

Really enjoyed this tea. Jasmine is very subtle but noticeable. Great tea for the evening right before bed.

As soon as you open the container you'll be hit with the intoxicating scent of jasmine. It's very powerful in scent, sweet and floral and flavor, and holds up to multiple steeps. Definitely the best jasmine tea I've ever had.

I had tried jasmine phoenix pearls before and LOVE them, but I had no idea what the difference was between that and this other than price. The aroma of these guys might be the most amazing thing I've ever smelled!!

This tea tasted really good but honestly I didn't see that much difference from jasmin phoenix pearls so I'll stick to that in the future. Worth trying though!

It's difficult to make a good thing better and with jasmine tea, i'm not sure it's worth using higher quality tea leaves, when the jasmine flavor is all that you'll remember from this cup. There is a difference with this tea from the others, however i prefer the jasmine pearls

I love the Jasmine Pearls. This blends well with other flavored teas and is a very comforting tea on its own. I find it settling and relaxing in the evening .

I was warned by the salesman that this was an expensive and addictive choice.

I should have listened.

I can't get enough of the delicate, but impactful flavor and the absolutely delightful mouthfeel. It packs a punch and feels like an indulgence. Definitely a staple for a dull work day pick me up.

Nice smelling, gentle tasting jasmine pearls. Fun to watch them unwind and if you steep them correctly you are blessed with a wonderful flowery aroma and subtle flavor!

Great tea to mix with fruity teas for a cold summer drink, I can drink gallons of this stuff, really nice smell and the pearls open up nicely as well. Definitely recommend!

This tea may be my absolute favorite to date. The refined pearls are a thing of art. And watching them blossom as they steep, and releasing fragrant floral notes -- it's exquisite. The flavor is smooth and refined. It is a masterful cup of tea.

My only complaint -- they are out of stock!

Decent jasmine pearl with all of the right flavor and scent notes. Not the best and not the worst I've had. I started with 1 minute and added 30 seconds for each resteep using Gongfu method.

I tried both the jasmine yin hao and the fujian jasmine pearl, and by far the fujian jasmine pearl is superior. I am by no means a tea expert, but this is hands-down my favorite. it has such a light, floral taste, with no hint of the bitterness I can't seem to get rid of in the jasmine yin hao. If you like floral teas, definitely go with this one!

This is the finest jasmine green tea I've ever had. It's absolutely delicate and airy. Its mouthfeel is so incredibly soft and sweet. It's very, very delightful and subtle. It tastes very pure and clean. I can tell there is a difference between this and the jasmine phoenix pearls. This tea is absolutely worth the price, considering the quality. Teas of this caliber are very difficult to find.

So tasty. Green jasmine tea is my calm-down tea, and this is a fantastic one. It's also more forgiving than some others I've tried.

I use about five leaves for my cup and I re-brew 3 times and it is still good.

This tea is delicious, especially once it's cooled down a bit (the jasmine taste is very subtle when it's super hot). Whatever the green tea is adding isn't very noticeable. The taste is primarily jasmine, but it's not overpowering. Not cheap, but the fourth brew is as good as the first, so this works out to be a pretty good deal. You just have to be around all day to drink it. I've let the leaves sit overnight and rebrewed the next morning, but they won't last much longer than that. I do increase the temp and time slightly for each rebrew. I'll be buying a large tin of this as soon as I can.

the pearl definitely brings an interest when making tea. I have yet seen pearl jasmine tea before.

In terms of flavor, it has a nice fragrance but not in-your-face kind of fragrance. to my taste, it is just fine.

For a green tea, this goes down very smoothly and I really like that.

You will enjoy the tea. Is it worth 39 dollars though? I don't think so. I think 30 dollars would be more appropraite.

just ok to me
this tea is strong tasting and has an aftertaste to me, glad I got a sample of this one

★★★★★

The perfect jasmine tea--just the right amount of floral and very smooth with no bitterness. Light and uplifting, this tea is good any time of day, any climate. The tin keeps it airtight. I was introduced to jasmine tea by a colleague after a particularly rough shift and it was very uplifting physically and emotionally. Still is.

Update: I just received the utilitea and ingenuitea and brewed this again. Holy moly! It's like sippping a spring day and exhaling a calm midsummer night. Nirvana in a cup. I used tap water. I'm going to experiment next with spring water. What an adventure! :)

Jasmine teas have always been one of my favorites ever since I tried one. When asked why, I only can describe them as having a very 'pretty' flavor because of the jasmine. Make sure you do not over-steep this tea as it gets bitter very fast, being a green tea. This one in particular was very good and refreshing as I typically find green teas to be. Deliciously 'pretty' as well, it is a wonderful addition to my collection.

Oh my! What a very pleasant tea! I don't know what I liked better, the flavor or the scent! I breath it in, the sip, then breath, then sip. So relaxing and full of flavor! I've tried other jasmine teas and so far this one is the BEST. As others have said, you can get multiple infusions out of these sweet little pearls. Never bitter even when I accidentally steeped too long. This has a sweet taste but can be made even sweeter with just a tiny bit of stevia. What a treat! I am using 10 pearls in my IngenuiTEA teapot. Made this one of my Adagio favs!
