This tea was just o.k. for me. Not a huge earl grey fan so maybe that's why. Though it wasn't horrible.
Green tea from China with the robust flavors of bergamot (a citrus fruit). Zesty and refreshingly dry.

This tea was just o.k. for me. Not a huge earl grey fan so maybe that's why. Though it wasn't horrible.
I wouldn't have guessed earl grey green, but why not? Citrus and green tea pair beautifully and this is no exception. This sip is dry with a bright, juicy finish.
CommuniTEA 01 March 2022 - Still loving this so much! Used a bag to brew the leaves today. Just a wonderfully balanced tea.
16 Jan 2022 - I've always been a fan of Earl Grey Green but had not yet tried Adagio's. It did not disappoint. Just a lovely balance of both kinds of tea. I used my velociTea with it to good results. 2 heaping scoops and 16-17 oz water. Wonderful way to start the day.
This tea was very interesting but it wasn't to bad. I adore green teas and this one was definitely different from ones I have had before. The taste slightly reminded me of bubble bath.
A light and zesty take on the reigning Lord of Teas, Earl Grey Green offers a less bold, more fresh twist that shows us what his Lordship looks like in less formal attire.
Swapping out a black tea base for a green, the bergamot flavor is less a bright punchy forward, and more an enchanting citrusy accomplice to the orange as it weaves itself throughout each sip. A touch of tupelo honey adds an elegant floral note that lifts and lovingly coats all three, bringing further harmony to the cup.
Light, crisp, and citrusy, this is truly an excellent tea for the first of the day.
(3 mins @ 180ºF, w/tupelo honey)
CommuniTEA March '22: I'm a huge Earl Grey fan, but I don't usually enjoy green teas with earl grey, so I was hesitant to try this. The dry leaf had a vegetal undertone with a heavy floral/fragrance scent overtop. However, It tasted fabulous with a little bit of sugar. My packet contained almost two full 'cup' scoops on my double ended tea scoop (slightly more than a tsp, the other end is a pot sized amount at ~1.5 tbsp) so I used my 14 ounce mug this morning and it was the correct strength.
175F for 2:30
Bergamot and green tea together in one light, delicious blend. Heavenly for my taste. Addition of cornflowers makes it pretty as well.
I liked this a lot. A very smooth, pleasant green tea that isn’t overwhelming in it’s Earl Grey-ness
update: I have started to get more into the Earl Grey flavor since drinking through my tea clubs! I now do enjoy this one. I added 1 tsp of raw sugar. it is a light tea without the typical grass flavors you might find in a green. The Earl Grey is the primary flavor of this tea. I do think I still enjoy the earl grey more with the black tea base but i also really enjoy the clean caffeine of green tea and prefer it for afternoons for the added focus factor. I think I would reach for this one often now a days!
9-6-21 Ugh I think it’s just too strong. The earl grey flavor that is. Definitely not my cup of tea
If you like both green tea and Earl Grey tea, this is probably an awesome tea. Me, I like the green. Not so much the Earl Grey.
I usually don’t care for green tea, but this tasted like a nice earl grey.
Perfect combination. A softening of the Earl Grey and a deepening of the green. Lots of tantalizing undertones.
It was an OK tea, I just don’t prefer the floral taste this tea provided If Steeped correctly, it is light and somewhat refreshing
I'm not a real fan of green teas. I love Earl Grey though, but prefer it with a black tea base. This was just ok for me.
Flavorful, light green tea. The bergamot isn't overpowering here which is nice. Still not my favorite flavor though.
Love this lighter EG version! It has a friendly green tea base with no noticeable vegetal, grassy or seaweed taste. A sweetener add brought out a softened and delightful bergamot flavor. A nice citrus tang from the orange bits quietly flavored from the background.
My Ct packet had 2 g/ 2.5 tsp of green tea leaves with some orange pieces and blue cornflowers. Brewed 16 oz. at 175*F (green tea temp.) for 2:30 min. The liquor was a pale golden green. No bitterness was detected with careful brewing. I added some green tea honey which worked some sweetening and softening magic. A resteep of 8 oz. for 3 min. was very tasty with the bergamot flavor much mellowed and very delicious. A chilled portion followed suite and was very enjoyable as an iced tea. I like this tea more this year than last. I finally found a favorite way to brew it.
Earl Greys have been hit or miss with me lately - still trying to find the perfect steep time and temp to tame the astringency and intense bergamot in most of the black tea EG options - but THIS is perfect. Steeped 3 mins @ 175° and it had great flavor but I was not overwhelmed by the bergamot. Perfect for dunking a chocolate chip scone to add a little sweetness as you sip.
The Earl was feeling a little green today and that's ok. I appreciate what was done here, but it didn't quite sit right on my palet. Some things are classics for a reason I suppose, and while I love green teas, I think the bergamot suits black tea much better.
I'm not always a huge fan of green teas personally; but I love earl greys. This opened my eyes a little bit to start trying more green, and I'd say it was a success. Great afternoon pick-me-up.
I did enjoy this as a green tea, although I'm not a huge fan of original 'Earl Grey' flavoured teas, I didn't mind drinking this one. Usually prefer it cold, but hot wasn't too bad either.
A wonderful way to get traditional Earl Frey flavors with health benefits I'd green tea.
This was recommended for me based on all the other earl grey teas I’ve enjoyed, and it was definitely a nice, lighter earl grey
A lovely tea! Light and just the right amount of flavor!
This has become my favorite green tea. Great just on it's own. The Earl Grey is very subtle. But it's there, and it makes me happy.
Deliciously sweet, astringent, and light, it makes for introspective blend that pairs beautifully with an old, favorite book.
I wanted to opt for the antioxidants and health benefits of green tea, while still being able to enjoy my London Fog recipe! Amazing substitute. I prefer it to the original Earl Grey! @adagioteas
This is a light tea. It's good for relaxing at night with a book.
Very noice tea. Nice floral notes and I drink it every day 👍🏻
Always an amazing way to get my favorite flavor of tea. I am pleasantly surprised how much I love this every time I brew it.
This one made me feel like I had a great boost to start the day off with, especially for a green tea.
I love black earl greys and this green option gives me less caffeine and a similar taste. Yes, it's not exacly earl grey, but there is something interesting in this blend. I personally like it!
This was so good, the right amount of citrus and green blended to a delicious start to my day.
Pretty tasty and calming I love the calm texture and flavor.
Bought this tea as a gift for my mom, she loves it!
Mild and soothing tea. Probably my least favorite of the Earl Greys I tried, but still. enjoyable.
I really liked this blend. It is a lighter version of earl grey, but without the bitterness that black tea often causes. I have enjoyed it plain, with a bit of honey, and with milk, and it pairs very well with all the same snacks that earl grey does. Very nice blend! :) @adagioteas
While I LOVE Earl Grey teas, this one is simply too bitter for me. I'm not a great fan of green tea, but enjoy the health benefits of it. So, I think I'll pass on this one.
It tastes about how you'd expect, like earl grey mixed with a standard green tea. The earl grey flavor is a bit stronger than the green tea flavor, but the green flavor is still very noticable. Nothing particularly special, but still very delicious.
A great, tasty and healthy blend. Green tea and caffeine!
I wasn't a fan of this when I first brewed it but I started using it to make iced tea and it's really great and refreshing cold.
I loved this. Green tea and earl grey fusion. So good
Has the same wonderful bergamot flavor as the black tea but with a more subtle green tea background.
Got this one as a free sample with my order. Honestly probably not one I would have tried on my own, as I'm not usually a fan of green tea. But I just came back and placed another order just to buy a bag of this one!
Love earl grey & since green tea has healthy benefits, this variety has become my favorite
Dry tea smells only of bergamot. Once brewed, the resulting cup is a pale green with vegetal green notes and a bergamot scent. When hot, the bergamot is dominant, and the vegetal green tea is noticeable. When warm, the bergamot settles into the green tea more, masking some of the vegetal taste. I found the bergamot level to be lighter than some of the black tea earl greys. This is a relaxing take on earl grey. Brewed at 175 for 3 minutes.
I love earl greys, but I'm pretty picky about green teas. I typically don't enjoy really astringent teas, and greens tend to be astringent. Knowing that this is a green tea with bergamot, I treated it with kid gloves: steeped at 180 degrees for only 3 minutes. And still, the tea was really, really sharp.
That said, it's still a solid earl grey. Any bergamot tea, even an astringent one, is a good tea in my book. Will I ever purchase this? Nah, probably not. I've got a whole collection of earl greys that I like better. But did I enjoy my CommuniTEA packet today? You betcha.
Tried as a CommuniTEA sample. It was very bitter even though I cold brewed it. Most of the time I like Earl Grey but I don't usually enjoy green tea. I don't think they paired well in this one.
Green Earl Grey?????? Is such a thing possible? You would think you would need a black to balance with the strong bergamot. But not here! This is a tremendously fun and perfectly balanced blend. It kind of like taking a piece of music designed to be played by a full orchestra and arranging it for string quartet - difficult to pull off, but you find new layers to an old standard when you do.
CommuniTEA Sample: I’m not a huge fan of Earl Grey and this one didn’t really resonate with me. If you like bergamot and green tea, I’m sure it is great, but not really my cup of tea. It’s not bad, but not really good. Try it if you like EG or green teas.
A good tea, lighter than the regular earl grey and very enjoyable. I think I’ll stick to the black tea, but this is still tasty.
