This is the flavor I think of when I hear "green tea". It's a classic green flavor, with a very subtle floral hint that I really like.
This is FANTASTIC!!! I have tried other dragonwell teas but it took a while before Adagio could restock (understandable with the tea industry as well as any other agricultural product) this delightfully flavorful green tea. I HIGHLY recommend this and I have tried many greens and whites in my time but I truly do believe that this is worth the extra effort, price and the wait for it to become available again to the Adagio community. THANKS!
Good, strong tea, fantastic for after heavy meals. I like my tea strong, and about two pinches lasts a good several infusions.
This tea has a very subtle flavor -- as opposed to a tea like Gunpowder. The flavor it does have is very grassy and leaf-like. The potency of this grass-iness leaves a somewhat bitter aftertaste. Personally, I prefer this, but I could understand why someone might not. Overall, the lightness of this tea makes it an elegant choice and it is one of my favorites for sure.
Didn't live up to the hype. Very grassy flavor, even for a green. I give you a pair of stars solely on the awesomeness of your name.
This tea makes a powerful yellow liquor that makes for a bold and earthy tea. I enjoy this tea regularly, but would caution folks not to steep this longer than 3 minutes or it may knock you over!
Fabulous daily green tea. I alternate this with the Japanese Sencha tea so as to not get tired of any one particular green tea flavor. That said, I'm still able to drink dragonwell by the pot.
An interesting green that was quite good. It can afford to be steeped a little longer than normal and still come out all right; it benefits from being a little stronger.
My favorite green tea from Adagio so far. A warm and flavorful taste for a green tea. More earthy and beany rather than grassy.
A light green tea. I prefer stronger flavor, but this is a good solid green as you would expect. It's very smooth compared to other green teas. If you're new to green tea or have disliked other varieties, you may like this one.
This is a great green tea by itself. You can taste the natural oils, and it goes down very smooth. Great by itself or with some herbal flavors (fresh peppermint is great).
By far my favorite chinese green tea so far. Very forgiving to prepare.

LOVE IT. Even my friends who hate green tea LOVE dragonwell. The leaves don't get burnt if steeped to long either.
It was good but somewhat disappointing considering the price. It is very mild and lacks body. I can easily drink it and would recommend that you at least try it but I won't be getting it again.

This is my boyfriend's favorite. He'd drink it every day if he could, but it's a bit pricey ... although totally worth it!

I did not see the value in purchasing this tea. It was expensive and grassy/bitter tasting. Much better are the jasmine teas. Dragonwell is going to be put on the shelf for a while.
Like others have said, this would probably be better if it was fresher, tasted a little too bitter to me, but overall not bad. For the price, I probably wouldn't get it again.

Overall goodness of tea depends of freshness of the batch. This is a quintessential high quality Chinese tea. I have many a Chinese friend who swear by it. It's prettty good, although sometimes I prefer Japanese green.
My favorite green. Slightly sweet in flavor with some earthy and nutty tones. Only mildly bitter, and has a leafy aroma.
This tea was a little flat for me. I will stick to the green anji as my favorite green.
Dragonwell - This is the green tea I have been looking for. This is exactly how green tea should be! - In my opinion. Great taste, color, and smell. I brewed this Gong Fu style and got some very nice flavors over multiple steeps. Definitely making this my go-to green tea.
Hands down the best green tea i've had thus far. Mixes well with a little spearmint as well. I drink this in the morning because it's light enough to not upset my stomach, but has a wonderful flavor to wake up my taste buds.

This green tea is pretty RAD, but only if you like tea cause it is pretty DEEP!
I have read reviews about this tea on other sites some good, some not so favorable, but I have to say, I LOVE THIS TEA! It is a perfect balance of sweetness (reminiscent of white tea) with an undertone of briskness and vitality; however the briskness and vitality isn't astringentcy and yet I can't describe it. It wakes you up but not harshly or abruptly.
A wonderful go-to green tea for everyday! It is definitely my everyday go-to green tea.
I highly recommend this tea to everyone. It is a nice starter green tea for those trying to familiarize themselves with green tea...easy to make, great to drink.

I first had this tea in a tea house in Shenzhen, China in 2001 and have been drinking it ever since.

The first tea I bought and it still, through the years, remains at the top of my favorite list. It's probably one of the most mellow green teas, with a much similar flavor to that of the green tea icecream that came out a while ago by hogan daus or whoever. Very nice and simple tea, and is very, VERY well complimented with a hearty dose of spearmint. I hooked all of my tea friends on Adagio with that combination.
Excellent, and surprising, peach scent. The peach doesn't follow through to the flavor, but this is nevertheless my favorite green tea.
