Jasmine Phoenix Pearls Customer Reviews

Perfumy hand-rolled tea from Fuding, in Fujian, China. Each pearl is just one leaf and a bud. When added to hot water, the pearls majestically unfurl, releasing a delicate scent and flavor. Sweet and almost sugary.

This is a great tea, I love getting samples so I can try teas in smaller quantities before getting larger orders. Excellent floral bouquet.

These are nice and are great on their own. we mix them with Black dragon pearls for an even better flavor!

Always been a fan of watch these tea pearl open up as they steep. Great flavor as well.

A very light and floral tea! I found that 195 is too high a temperature for it, so I usually steep it at a lower temperature so it doesn't get bitter.

High quality tea that is fresh and has a wonderful floral taste. I love combining it with Hibiscus for a really yummy iced tea as well.

Perfectly floral and yummy! This is one of my favorite teas of all time and I’m so glad I found it here!

It's always kind of cool to watch these little gems unfurl, it's a nice cup, not too earthy, I think the jasmine must tone it down a bit, not a tea I would reach for on the daily, but good to have some in my stash.

A little perfumey/soapy for my liking, but not bad. Steeped at 3 min at 175 after seeing other people leaving notes about bitterness at higher temps

I love this tea. The jasmine is rich and delicious without being over-powering. So far I've enjoyed it hot, iced, and used it to make jasmine milk for baking--it works in every configuration!

A wonderfully light, aromatic tea. It's fun to watch the tiny pearls unfurl! A great hot tea for anytime. Pairs very well with Rooibos Bonita!

I love this tea! I love the smell of jasmine, and it is very smooth. I always do a second steep because it steeps very well.

★★★★★

While the jasmine smell is strong here, it's not too overpowering. I enjoy a floral note on occasion but this one is simply delicious. I do prefer to drink this one hot with a little bit of cane sugar.

The jasmine aromas this tea gives off is phenomenal. I love to make this just so my house smells like jasmine pearls. It’s delicious- not too strong of a taste, just perfect!

This is still my favorite jasmine tea. When you first open it, the smell is amazing. It's relaxing almost immediately. It is delicate, so getting the brewing right is important or it will be bitter. When it's brewed just right though it's one of my favorite teas from adagio.

Got so much spoilt with this high quality aromatic jasmine green tea that now I carry it with me to drink anywhere I go. I no longer can drink a less quality of jasmine green tea anywhere else.

Floral, refreshing, and bright. I love this tea as an afternoon pick me up. As every other tea Ive tried from here it is a very good quality tea. I'm glad to have found a good spot to get tea again

Love this tea, and I'm not usually a green tea drinker. Delicate jasmine flavor and aroma. Don't oversteep. I get two or three steepings from the leaves.

Both my wife and I couldn’t drink this. The jasmine aroma is quite strong and almost nauseating once steeped. Your experience may vary but it didn’t work for me.

Great floral flavor in this green tea with no bitterness. Re-steeped the leaves adding one more minute than the first steep and it was still great

Ok…what can I say outside of AMAZING!!.The smell is floral and sweet and the taste matches it for me..I like strong notes of jasmine in my tea and this one doesn’t disappoint. One of the best I’ve enjoyed in a long time.Straight up or with a bit of honey it works either way.I’ve also made it as an ice tea with a touch of honey.Anyway you make it(for me) it’s satisfying …

Whenever I feel the need to be a little bit bougie, this is my go-to tea. I like to seep it deeply and let all the elements fully fill the glass, and then it's time to relax and feel a little bit extra!

One of the best teas I’ve ever sampled. This tea is honestly the most unique tasting tea I’ve found with a taste that just makes me crave more. There’s not a single tea that taste quite like it I think. It definitely is a real treat.

Although it is pricey, it is definitely worth it in taste. It has been one of my daily driver teas for awhile.

This is a lovely tea; however, the jasmine is slightly overpowering. I compensate by adding extra water to dilute it down a bit.

I was actually able to steep my 1 teaspoon of pearls 3 times. And each time it made my house smell as delightful as the taste I enjoyed.

This cuppa is the perfect blend of aromatherapy and delicate jasmine flavor. It is the ultimate velvety and comforting sip. Scented rolled tea pearls unfurl to steep into a fragrant golden honey colored liquor. The flowery jasmine taste does not overwhelm but is smooth and well balanced with no grassy or earthy taste. No bitterness or astringency was detected with careful brewing.

I steeped 12 oz at 195* F for 3 minutes. The tea fully awakened and all leaves danced to the bottom of my Ingenitea in full bloom. Upon first sip, the jasmine aroma was transcendent and its gentle floral taste provided enough natural sweetness that I could enjoy it plain. A two-minute resteep was milder in taste but flavorful too. 4 grams or about 19 pearls were in my packet today. Thank you Adagio for providing this lovely sipping experience through CommuniTEA.

Jasmine phoenix pearl tea is very floral in taste and aroma. 5 stars for the taste of Jasmine and 5 stars for the aroma. The scent of Jasmine brings out my inner child. Memories of my precious grandmother flood my mind as the first hint of jasmine kisses in the air. The scent is one of the most gentle, yet powerful scents I have ever smelled. There is no ignoring Jasmine when she is in the room everyone is rewarded by her presence. The pearls as well as the steeped tea also carry the strong scent of jasmine. Jasmine is not my favorite tea, but it is as beautiful in aroma as it is unique in taste. The tea tastes like a garden of flowers with a lingering bitter taste if it is over steeped. To get the pearls to awaken without burning the tea do a quick flush with cool water or even better cold brew this one. I steeped for 2-3 min @195 this time so I could enjoy the aroma of the TEA, but as far as getting the best flavor I like the cold brew method the best. Enjoy a trip to the flower garden!

I bought a 3oz bag of this when I was new to Adagio, based on the recommendation of the friend who introduced me to the wonders of this amazing brand. I didn’t really know what I was doing so I’m sure I steeped it too hot and too long, and I didn’t like it. I gave it to my friend. As I said, I didn’t really know what I was doing. So today it came up in the CommuniTEA box for January 31, 2023, and I’m a little wiser since having joined the CommuniTEA a year ago. This time I steeped it at 180 for 2 minutes, and found it to be a much more enjoyable sip. It’s very floral so I wouldn’t want it all the time because I like more full-bodied flavored teas in general. However, for me, this is a perfect tea to go with a great stir fry meal, and im very sure it helps to digest a good meal. If you like the type of teas served in Chinese restaurants, then this is several steps above that. Give it a try!

Very pretty tea, nice light jasmine flavor. I preferred the 2 minute brew vs. 3 minute, the longer it steeped it was slightly bitter. Probably should have brewed at a lower temp.

★★★★☆

I should say I'm not big on green teas or floral flavors but this was not bad at all. It had a nice delicate smoothness about it that just makes you feel calm and centered. I enjoyed this one.

Full disclosure - I am not a floral fan and even the scent of jasmine is not real promising. This tea was okay - not great but not awful - just too floral for me. 195 for 2 minutes.

Disclaimer - I don't like jasmine, and green tea is hit or miss at best, so I'm not the intended audience. Still, I wanted to give it a try out of the CommuniTEA offerings as sometimes you find you love a new tea unexpectedly. This one just tasted like grassy perfume, unfortunately.

Everything a cup of jasmine should be - floral yet light and sugary yet floaty. I am partial to pearls because they're so much fun to steep!
